actually, if Dante's democracy mallet was made in the US, then it's not a mallet. it's a warhammer! we suck you in using favorable diplomatic treaties, then exploit every single loophole in the justice system and eventually declare war.

I'm brittish, dude... I use brittish made products... for democracy at any rate.
We're good at peace, we go into places like iraq and make them calm down, america goes in and riles them up... what a great alliance.

i agree. how much have we spent on the warchest as opposed to education and health care? i guess they figured that if the government can fool the world and tell them that we landed on the moon first, they can get away with anything.
gambling is illegal but the state hosts its own lottery.
medicine comes in childproof bottles but bullets come in cardboard boxes.
kobe bryant got away with rape, oj simpson got away with murder, but michael vick is in prison for animal cruelty.
people with more money pay less taxes.
Bush never found weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, his primary reason to push for a war. of course, North Korea's dictator practically wore "Got Nukes?" t-shirts in every press conference and Bush didn't bat an eyelash. then the reason became, "Saddam's regime and history of human rights violations must be stopped.", even though places like Myanmar/Burma and Darfur has been thrust in civil war for decades.
i could keep this going... but i'm afraid that if i do, i wouldn't be able to resist the urge to pour myself some hard liquor. stressed

At the rate america is going you have two options: Republicans are pushing for the increased "warchest" as Q put it... or the Democrats who wish to create a socialist society that only increases their coffers at the expense of the middle and lower classes. I'm really not to impressed, but it is a fairly good place to get an education. Hopefully I'll be finished by Spring '09 semester and I can move home. Or perhaps Australia? It's on the completely opposing side of the world....

Every country has it's problems... it just so happens that America is the only remaining superpower in the world... so you get more air-time on the global news. However, the Burmese really have you beaten hands down. Their public relations platform... not the brightest people working on that. xd
