It has nothing to do with hating Vintrict, it has to do with having basic expectations and standards about stuff like competency and fairness. People who have no expectations or standards are dumb, because they're okay with getting the worst in life as long as it's handed to them and they don't have to work for it.

I assume that most people DO have standards and expectations about the most basic facets of a tournament, like fair judging and grading, and so when something is wrong or unfair.. it would stand to reason that it's worth pointing out and discussing.

But I could be wrong. Maybe people are okay with getting dealt s**t, because even though it might be s**t, it's still something; nevermind that it could obviously be something better.

I'm just going to pledge to stop talking about it from now on.

In the end, I know I'm awesome at what I do. Besides advancement, which unless some real bullshit faggotry goes on, doesn't matter right now. I don't need numbers and s**t to validate what I do. Especially when it's usually super biased, someone's obviously got a chip on their shoulder with this, and even the good stuff isn't much help anyway.

If the people running it don't care then why should I stress over it? Like I said, I'll just work with Tres and we'll raise the bar for everyone so maybe in the future people won't just settle.

And Sokoya, I told you once before to not take it personally. Tres explained that you probably feel some ownership over this whole thing, but you know, there's nothing you can do about rampaging nerd who's way too insecure with himself.

It's more that no matter how much logic you spread or how passionately you argue your points, that won't on its own yield any new results. It'll give people a better understanding as they're force-fed s**t and... little more.

I'm simply advising picking one's battles. It's better to put our energies into projects that're beneficial, than try to coerce someone who refuses to listen.

I guess I'll let it go and stop throwing Vintrict's bullshit back at him and use that energy to make something actually decent.
