Alasdair stopped when he noticed that Sibyl had not followed him to the stairs. He narrowed his eyes as he looked at the wall. Sibyl was becoming a nuisance if she kept asking about things that did not concern her. Alasdair sighed and turned on his heels. He began walking towards Sibyl. Then suddenly an explosion went off inside Las Noches.
Alasdair felt the floor shaking, the glasses bursting and the people screaming downstairs. Once he made sure that the ground he was standing on would not crumble, he looked back to Sibyl. It seemed that only the front of the building was affected, so Alasdair’s room seemed to be intact. “She does not concern you Sibyl… If you wish to talk to me about the collar, do so in the roof… If not then you are simply waiting my time, mutt.” Alasdair replied, with slight annoyance in his voice.
He waited to see her response, his hand moving to rest on the sheath of his sword. He did not hold the sword to attack; he was just resting his hand. “Are we moving?” Alasdair added as he took a few steps back, towards the stairs.

Sibyl growled softly and deep in her throat. She didn't like the idea of leaving Racquel behind but she also wasn't able to just burst in there and attack the guards head on since it'd put Racquel at risk. It was really difficult for Sibyl to sit back and watch things play out for Racquel but at the moment, she really couldn't do anything. If she was too rash then the guards would likely just turn on Racquel and annihilate her, which wouldn't solve the issue in the first place. As distasteful as it seemed, Sibyl was going to have to wait until she had a better angle to strike from.
"Of course she concerns me, Alasdair." Sibyl responded with a completely calm and collected tone. "Racquel is one of my pack members. Don't you think that would concern me just the slightest?" She then decided to drop the argument about Racquel for the time being seeing as it was useless to argue over it like a child. Instead, she decided that she was going to get the story from Alasdair and figure out a safer way to bust Racquel out of Las Noches. "Very well. Lead the way, then, Alasdair." His name had a bitter note to it, however, she made no move or comment of any sort and merely followed along behind him.
Instinctively Sibyl growled when Alasdair placed his hand on his sword. It was a sudden movement and it was rather threatening and it took all of Sibyl's will power and then some to keep herself from jumping the vampire and tearing away at his stomach or his throat. Instead, though, she managed to simply lurch forward as well as growl as opposed to actually leaping at him and going in for a kill or attack. "I believe so," she responded, obviously not amused by where his hand was placed.

Alasdair heard Sibyl’s growls, he could feel the tension, and he felt as she fought her instinct to attack. Alasdair just grinned slightly and turned on his heels. He gave his back to Sibyl and began to walk towards the stairs. He knew Sibyl was too proud to attack him from the back, and if she killed him, Racquel would die as well.
It was good things the stairs were mostly intact, because Alasdair did not plan on making a hole through the wholes as he jumped towards the roof. He preferred to climb the stairs, and so he did. He climbed non-stop until he reached the roof.
He opened the door, knowing that Sibyl would follow. He looked around the roof with his violet eyes, seeing nothing out of the ordinary. Alasdair grinned and took out a cigarette from his coat pocket. He lit it quickly and made his way to the other end of the roof. “You don’t remember the night you willingly put on your collar?” Alasdair said as he smoked his cigarette looking at the far city. Then he turned with a smile. He took a drag of his cigarette and chuckled lightly. “Like a good little dog” He added.

When it came to enemies, Sibyl was actually pretty mellow and could get along with them quite well if it was needed or more convenient. Of course instinct made it difficult to trust them at all or even be friendly to them but her human side allowed her through a little loophole so that she wasn't completely paranoid and unwilling to be civil. As for attacking Alasdair from behind, she was not too proud to do so since she found that pride was often something that got in the way. However, she would not likely attack him without a reason so he was fairly safe with his back to her. He was probably safer with Sibyl than a lot of his vampire suboordinates and at the same time he was in more danger than he really thought.
Likewise, Sibyl scanned her surroundings just as Alasdair had and quickly registered everything that was there. She'd followed him up the stairs and had more than matched his pace at which he'd climbed the stairs with her behind him. As for his smoking, she really disliked it as it smelled horrible and she abbhored the scent but there wasn't much she could really do about it. "No I do not. I don't believe I'd willingly place a shock collar in myself." She then narrowed her eyes at him, seeing as it was fairly obvious that she was not amused by his comment. "I'm not a dog, leech."

Alasdair chuckled as he heard Sibyl’s words. She really didn’t remember putting the collar? What a shame. Alasdair took a deep drag from his cigarette then blew out a big white cloud of smoke. “Your right…Your not a dog, you’re a b***h. Yes…you had that collar like a good little b***h.” Alasdair replied to her with a sinister laugh.
He did not care if Sibyl got angry, which probably would not happened. But he had his hand in his sword, that even though it wasn’t held for action, it was still near. So with his vampire speed, he could unsheathe it in a heartbeat.
“Why did you really come here? Don’t you have those weak mutts to take care of?” Alasdair added with disdain. He found lycans to be of less use than his vampire subordinates.

Sibyl wasn't amused at the prospect of him being so vague with her and then laughing at her, however, she held her postition and made sure not to get angry over what he did or failed to say. And despite hating cigarette smoke and even more so when it was being blown into her face, she managed to stay calm. "Yes, I'm right," Sibyl responded in her smart-assed, know-it-all tone of voice, "but you're definitely incorrect on this matter seeing as a b***h is a female dog. Terminology isn't that difficult for you is it? And trust me, I am nothing like any dog you have ever seen. I'm far different. Probably closer to a cerberus than a dog."
As for Alasdair being able to unsheath his sword in a heart beat, it took Sibyl a lot less time to attack him head on since she could get to him in less than a heart beat, in the blink of an eye. Sibyl's speed was amazing but more amazing yet was her brute strength since she didn't at all appear to be physically strong at all and yet she was an absolute power house.
"I really came here for the reason that I said I am here. I'm not lying to you and I'm wondering how I obtained a shock collar with your blood in it. Of course if your blood it in it then I'd have to assume that it was you who issued me the collar." Sibyl was telling the truth since she didn't lie. Her family had brought her up that way and they'd never seen the point of lying to others since they eventually found out anyhow, that and it could get someone into a lot of trouble.

“Now are you lycan’s always boasting at how fast and strong you are. How could I have forcibly put that shock collar around your filthy neck, and not have a scratch on me. Or you by that matter?” Alasdair said with matter-of-factly. He took the last drag of the cigarette and threw it away before releasing the smoke from his undead lungs.
The smoke was not directed at Sibyl’s face this time; he had tilted his head to the side before letting the smoke out. Alasdair turned around and hopped on the ledge of the roof. He took a few steps away from sibyl, and laughed. “I did not lie to you…We got rather…close after all.” Alasdair added before looking back down to Sibyl.

"Are they now? Well I certainly don't boast, I simply tell the truth as is." Sibyl responsed matter-of-factly right back to him. She wasn't lying, there was no point to it and she had a difficult time lying about anything at all so it was just easier for her to stick with the truth. "As for the shock collar, it's perfectly possible that you could have gotten it around my neck. You could have somehow incapacitated me. Or perhaps I didn't have the time to react or I was being held down by other vampires. And who's to say there weren't scratches at the time? Perhaps you're simply deceiving me though I don't believe you are and deceiving me about whether I resisted that collar or not would be rather useless if you ask me."
"Define close. I'm not so sure I like the sound of that vague word since it has too many meanings in that one simple word." She could feel the hair on her body standing on end at the thought of what Alasdair meant by "close". She was actually in anticipation of his response since she didn't know what to expect his response to include. It was eating at her as she just stood there and the silence was getting to her nerves.

The why and the how were meaningless now that Sibyl refused to believe that she had willingly embraced the collar. It was no longer a matter of talking things over. But Alasdair did not feel like answering her pointless questions any longer. Would it really matter why she had the collar? If she decided anything, it would turn into a fight, so why delay the inevitable.
“You can keep asking all the questions you wish, but the truth I already said.” Alasdair replied with a smile as he leaped back into the building behind him. The building beside Las Noches was the same height. It was dark, made of brinks and had an old feel to it. Alasdair managed to land on the ledge of the rooftop. There was a rail that stood about three feet from the floor. He stood there for a second, relatively close to his original position. It was not that he was not capable of jumping farther; it was that he didn’t want Sibyl to lose him. “But wouldn’t it be more fun to test how fast you can be…my little Sibyl.”
Alasdair then began to laugh and leap to the other side of the building. He was just casually moving through the buildings. He wanted her to follow him. No particular reason, just to get away from that place. He finally turned to look away from Sibyl and towards where he was moving. He laughed once more as he made his way to the next building, picking up speed. While he jumped, his hand gripped his sword in reverse, so that it wouldn’t sway all over the place.

Xander stood, assessing the damage of the small blast that had dented one of the very thick walls of concrete. Two humans were dead, some vampires injured, but they would heal fine. Great. He pulled out his cell and dialed Rogue, his elder sister, who was obviously nowhere in sight. "Yeah, its Xander. Some a**s tried to blow the place, but only managed one bomb....Yeah, the police will be here shortly, and I'll deal with them. They might start to think that you have enemies." He chuckled slightly. "Don't worry about it."
He clicked the phone shut and looked around, some of the more frequent guests still around.

They were not meaningless to Sibyl and the possibility that she'd willingly accepted the shock collar was not beyond her yet. However, she did highly resent the idea of allowing a vampire to treat her as though she were a dog among other things. It would have meant that she'd had a huge lapse where weakness had shown and Sibyl did not like the thought of that at all. She was a leader now, appointed by Jaden, she had to be strong not only for herself but for her entire pack. There was no room for error this time around or else it'd cost her hide almost certainly. Needless to say that she didn't want to have Alasdair placing a shock collar on her again.
"A vague truth that barely tells the truth. I know you're not lying but that doesn't mean I know what happened or how I decided to agree to putting on your disgusting device." Seeing as Sibyl's nose was nearly flawless when it came to tracking people down, it honestly wouldn't take her long to locate Alasdair if he so decided to flee from her. She was very nimble and though she wasn't the strongest of lycans, she was definitely a power house from training and hardly ever using weapons to fight with. "I wonder if you should be permitted a head start," Sibyl responded with a smirk, having heard Alasdair from across the gap between buildings.
When Alasdair began to pick up speed, the wolf in her absolutely couldn't handle it and went berserk. Sibyl followed through with pursuing him seeing as her human half and sensibility agreed on giving chase this time. She might have to stop herself from pouncing on him and ripping a huge chunk out of him but she wasn't exactly the most concerned for his safety. While she didn't attack most for no reason, Alasdair gave her an uncomfortable feeling and the moment she'd set eyes on him was the moment her instincts told her to attack him with all her might. However, she'd resisted that instinctive urge but now nothing was holding her back and she was free to do as she pleased.

After the third and halfway through the forth building Alasdair sensed Sibyl catching up to him. He had not been moving full speed; in fact, it could have been compared to a walk in the park. He was just skipping through the buildings, but as soon as he felt Sibyl catching up to him the pace increased.
There was a murderous intent on Sibyl’s aura. Alasdair picked on it instantly. He smiled; a smile for a challenge. It was about time that the vampire had a real challenge to his skills. He knew that he had to get serious now, if he showed even the slightest weakness, Sibyl would tear him to shreds. It was a good thing that his right hand was already resting on the hilt of his silver katana.
His right hand clinched tightly around the silk covered sword grip. It was obvious that Sibyl would catch up to him, and when she did Alasdair would have to be prepared to parry any attack.
He leaped off the fourth building and onto the fifth. There was a twenty feet gap between the fourth and fifth building, it seemed an avenue ran between his paths. It was a good thing that the adjacent buildings were more or less the same height, give or take one or two floors. Nothing a creature of the night could not handle.
“You don’t remember how sweet you were Sibyl? How you adored me?” Alasdair replied mockingly as he flew through the avenue. He laughed right after the comment, but did not lose focus on his path or this enemy. ((Exit Central Park))

Well it was fairly obvious that Sibyl wasn't pushing herself at all and she wasn't even close to her top speed. However, at the speed she was going it was still enough to slam a human into a tree and splinter it at the least. The pattering of her feet didn't ring out but it was certainly a prominent sound if someone happened to be close enough to hear it. Her feet were hitting the rooftops or floors of the building with amazing speed and force that sent vibrations throughout the walls at times. She wasn't even really trying to keep pace with him, for now she was merely loping along behind him and waiting for an opening of sorts or something that presented her with a reason to go in and snatch a chunk from him.
Sibyl's aura wasn't necessarily murderous, murderous wasn't the right word for it. Her aura was intent on catching up to her prey and eventually bringing it down by overpowering it but it wasn't really your typical murderous aura. It was almost as if this were some sort of game to her now that her instincts had overrun her. She was wild and she wasn't completely free as there were restrictions but that didn't mean that she couldn't play and have fun. Really, all this was, was that Sibyl was acting like a pup that was wanting to play, however, her playful intent soon turns into her harming whoever it is she's playing with by accident because of the excitement.
Though Sibyl was somewhat off in her own little world, her instinct was still in tact and it was perfectly aware that the vampire had a silver sword drawn. Her instinct disliked that fact and it caused Sibyl to growl at the thought of the weapon wielded against her. She knew well enough to keep her distance from the sword so as not to receive a mortal wound so she continued forward to catch Alasdair. She managed the twenty foot distance with ease and despite having dropped back, she was still managing to keep a good pace that kept her a mere hundred or so feet behind him, which was an easy sprint for her to catch up to him if she so wished. However, for now she decided to remain behind him and follow along since he seemed to be playing a game of sorts and her instinct was urging her to chase after him despite the danger.
As opposed to responding to Alasdair's mocking question, Sibyl merely chose to take it in stride. She had no idea what had gone on and she'd told him that she failed to recall how she'd obtained the collar so it was pointless for her to respond and state again that she had forgotten. It was a nuisance when people asked similar questions over and over, it got redundant fast and she grew tired of answering very swiftly. Instead of wasting her time trying to come up with a response, she focused on where Alasdair was leading her, reason overtaking her once again. She noted that they'd already travelled far from Las Noches and that they were entering a less populated area with more scyscrapers and businesses. However, she was still being driven by her animal instinct and she would not give up her chase easily.

[[ If you are reading this Alasdair, I'm really sorry, I left for Kansas, and I was so busy packing that I totally forgot to post, not to mention I finally got internet again... So, my character is stuck in Las Noches being guarded by...guards...Fun. Now what can I do for fun?]]
After Alasdair left, Racquel stayed in her spot. She kept eye contact with the left guard with sometime before he held up his gun and demanded that she stop her staring. Shrugging her shoulders she simple mentioned she needed to go to the bathroom, being as she was still basically a living thing she did have a basic instenct to go to the bathroom. Though she didn't really have to go. Thankfully the guards allowed it, and she escaped to the solitude of the small and cramped bathroom.
Sitting on the edge of the sink she played with her hair, and tryed to think of what to do. Not to mention that rummbling from under her feet had disturbed her. However seeing as the guards had not left the room she guessed it was nothing to worrie about.
As she had been playing with her hair she accedently droped her hairtie and got down on the floor to grab it, that was when she had seen it. A small crack in the floor. It wasn't large enough to get her slender fingers into, but she could still see down below. There wasn't many people down there, and she could see a small hole that lead outside. her mind instantly started working, but before her plan could be set into motion a knock came from the door. "You done in there, Mutt?" A male voice called. Scrammbling to her feet she flushed the toilet. "Yea, I just need to wash my hands.." She called back. The Guard mummbled something about her being a dirt mut, that was somthing she'd remember when she was testing stuff on his body...
She turned the water in the sink on, then snickered in her mind as the sound of the sink would cover the sound of her tearing at the bathroom floor. Even better she started singing to herself, and prosseded with breaking up the floor. Being plenty strong she was easly able to break up the floor. Soon she had got a hole big enought for her arms to fet threw, but she noticed it been long enought for her to have washed her hands... Getting up she covered the whole with the carpet, and turned the water off. She'd have to wait awhile... Turning off the sink she sliped threw the door and sat back down on the chair her legs again under her. She picked up a magazine that layed nearby, and started to pretend to read it. 'Fifteen minutes tops...'
