((oh my, sorry i was absent so long, i was a bit busy. anyhow, more links to enjoy before my post XD ok, first Ashle, then Jack of Diamonds and last but not least Jack of clubs (gestalt) wee~ next up is Eight of clubs)) Marcie nodded and turned heel, she made her way down the stairs quickly and looked back only to make sure the Queen of Hearts was still following, she held the door open for the Queen and closed it only after she exited "please stay close" she said after closing the door, a bit afraid the Queen might try something if anything bad had happened.Ace of diamonds looked at the man in front of him with disgust, he had made many cry before in pain and beg in mercy but this was just pathetic, he didn't let go of the Ace of hearts but he could really not stand such foolishness from a combatant, if Ven wanted to cry then he would give him a good reason to do so "Sara... oh, yes, that was her name i guess, it was the one your mother kept calling after all" he said in an amused velvety voice over the sobs of Ven
"Hard to believe she through you would save her, i had to prove her otherwise, she was the first to fall actually, we tied both of your parents and made them watch as we killed their precious daughter, this was the first place where i shot her" Ace of Diamonds said aiming his gun at Ven's right leg and firing.

Maria would indeed try something should the situation go awry, just as she had in many other situations in the past - each of which she somehow ended up sedated by Patches to prevent further harm. "Understood." was all that Maria had said when Marcie told her to follow. Her crimson eyes rested on her feet as she walked along, worry still etched into her being.

As Ven heard the bullet coming from the guns chamber and piercing his right leg, he began so scream and hold his right leg in pain. Him talking about his sister and family made him angry side but the pain was to great for it to show it. The screams filled up the room and echoed threw the halls. If anyone was near by. The for sure would hear it.

Matt heard his shouts. He kept Ashle's hand closed tightly in his. He ran towards his friend. He quickly shot at the body standing over his fallen friend. HE turned to Ashle and said, "Hide! Get help!"
Ashle went over to the nearest crevice in the wall, not wanting to leave matt.

((As I've promised i come back with more links XD there is a lot of lyka characters this time... where is she btw? oh, anyhow, first Eight of clubs then Six of clubs after that Ten of hearts next Henry and last for the day: Ven and yes, i did skip dan, but he is my character so i have the right to do so, lol. )) Marcie walked on silence next to Maria, she knew it would be better to save the energy in case there was a case needing her attention when they arrived, the bright orange and yellow flames on the distance did nothing to easy her mind and the smell of smoke coming closer didn't help at all either.Ace of diamonds closed his eyes to take in the sweet sound of the screams reverberating on the walls a bit better, he couldn't help but pull the Ace of heart's body a bit closer in the ecstasy of the moment, he loved that sound, the raw and harsh scream of pain and fear, it was almost as beautiful as the sound of the flesh being penetrated by his bullets, yet there was something off, he could hear steps where the should be none and the sound of someone pulling the trigger of a gun...
Ace of Diamonds opened his eyes in an instant and fell to the floor seconds before the bullet left the barrel of the gun, bringing the Ace of hearts down with him, there had been no time to let go of him or turn around after all, not until he fell with the Ace of hearts underneath him, he smirked at the position but was quick to turn to his aggressor instead of getting something out of the situation "Sorry for not allowing you to take that bullet for me but I'm quiet selfish" He said while he turned to the red haired man that just entered the room "I want your pain all for my self" he added still taking Ace of hearts body as a shield as he fired two bullets at the red haired man, one aiming for the head and one for the legs.Ace of clubs reached the southern entrance of the castle, it had taken her a while with her twisted ankle from the many falls she had before reaching the structure, it was indeed a great fire, the northern part of the building was completely consumed by the flamed and the center and part of the southerner regions of the facilities had already been destroyed or in the process of being so, the only place that was still standing was the farthest corner of this southern regions, a couple rooms barely but she needed to enter those rooms and look for any ray of hope of finding the person she came looking for, as she walked toward the entrance a wave of heat greeted her, probably the people inside when this had started had died of dehydration already, if not burnt alive. Nobody shivered, despite the close fire the night seemed too cold, perhaps the burning castle was draining all the heat available, or perhaps the cold sweat that placed itself over the white queen had made this illusion of coldness for him. He had been looking for this Suit to have a small chat and the eerily empty halls had made him a bit paranoid, he would jump at any sound and his heart would race before his mind could react and remind him he needed to stay calm.
When he was about ready to cry from the anxiousness and fear he saw the shadow of a few men turning a corner of the hall, it was then that even of his heart skipped a beat from the surprise there could be no mistake on who Nobody saw, a dark haired man being supported by the blindfolded albino he had come to know as the Jack of clubs. That had to be it, The Jack of Diamonds, the mastermind behind this put in scene of the suits and of wonderland's power management.
Nobody rid himself of all expression and took a deep breath to calm down before slowly walking to the emerging figures, he could not allow himself fear in front of the enemy "Good night Jack of diamonds, quiet a lovely night don't you agree?" He said calmly, still a couple meters away from the other ones, he didn't knew how many of them could be just behind that corner.

Maria looked up at the blazing flames, frightened ever so dearly now that Nobody might be among the ash and cinders. She couldn't help but ask Marcy, "Do you know what might be going on? I fear that I am left clueless."

Marcie shook her head and kept walking towards the evergrowing shape of the castle, she really didn't knew what might had been going on but when the familiar shape of a carriage that could only belong to the white queen came in view she had no doubts Nobody had a part in this events "I might have an idea, and I wouldn't worry about the heir to the White throne, if anything he might be the one causing all of this" Marcie said with increasing darkness as she noticed only the buildings belonging to the suits where burning.

Maria thought for a moment, finding it oddly comforting if Nobody were the cause of these flames. It made her feel as if her remaining foes were perishing in the raging flames. "If so, who are his targets? My mothers' damnable lapdogs?" she asked, not thinking that any other notable foes would reside in the castle.

((I don't see a need to close it because we can't post regularly, Tammy. >_>
Do you want to know why I haven't posted in a few days and why I don't post regularly?
Reason one: I am a university student with yet another essay due, lectures to go over, books to read, and final exams approaching. I don't think that sounds like a lot of free time is fit into my student schedule.
Reason two: I have hit a brick wall of writer's block and I'm working on overcoming it so that I can get back to writing my book again (I usually write snippets of my novel into my notebook when I have a bit of free time).
Reason three: Friday posting is out of the question this week because I am spending the entire evening at a fundraiser dinner for autism.
Reason four: I also do things on weekends. I use weekends as my days to take a breather and usually do some shopping for the things I need or go out with my friends or Zack.
Reason five: This is not the only RP I'm involved in. When I have time to roleplay, I have to update myself in seven roleplays. That's right, I'm a member of seven roleplays and am playing a total of sixteen characters. A lot to keep up with? Maybe, to me anyways.
Reason six: I am going to be spending Tuesday evenings from now on in therapy sessions to help deal with my depression. In case you haven't noticed, I am diagnosed with severe depression and the therapist I have been seeing regularly had to leave. So, I'm seeing a new one that is only available on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
Well, you're probably reading this thinking, "Well, Serene, how did you find the free time to post this?
Well, I like to check this RP regularly so that I'm up to speed as to what's going on, just so that I don't have twenty pages of reading to do when I return for posting. The good news is I will be writing my last exam on the twentieth and will have four months off to do whatever I want. I will most likely be posting regularly then if I am not working on my novel some days.
I hope this long response will provide you with some insight as to why I can't post regularly.

((hello hello, I'm hipper tonight, ok, first of all, sorry anime-chan but o won't be posting yet because that would disrupt time flow and I'm a time flow W**re so yeah, sorry again, now, about the subject, i don't think we should pause this just because some of us can't post as often as we would like to, i mean, believe it or not, we do have a life outside the Internet, and i see no problem in people posting just once or twice a week, i know i am not the right person to say that ('case patience is not one of my virtues) but really, this is an awesome RP that has stayed in RP of the month for 4 months so far, this story is good and rich and it could be used in many different ways if you just know how to make your characters interact.
i mean, seriously, there are crappy RP's out there that survive with one post per week, i find it funny to think this could die right now, sure some characters have vanished but we could very easily bring them back with a bit of imagination, i mean, when was the last time tao spoke? (or any of buncha's characters for that matter) but we have such a good RP that we don't need main characters and if they decide to pop out of nowhere for no reason at all we will just make up something, so , no, i don't think it needs to be paused.
if you want to encourage people to come and post i find it better to do so with nice post that make people want to interact with your character rather than complaining about people not being around, like maria, she is such a fun character to RP with (even with the occasional blocks) it's just a shame I'm addicted to time flow or i could fill this place with anime-chan XD and serene's characters, I'm usually just dying to see what she will come up with next, lyka also has interesting ideas, it's just a shame she has a block at the moment and zack... well as I've said before, i feel like i am reading a comic/shonen manga reading his work (now if only he could watch the esthetic part of it a bit more...) in your case Tammy i used to enjoy interacting with your characters but somehow i feel like lately you isolate them too much, and well, i find it impolite to say more than that.
And yes, i did come here just to say this. have a good night <3

((*starts crying* Exel!!! believe me! the reason u dun see my charries much is because me and Serene have this master plan! and then once that gets over with then mattie and Ashle are gonna get back in. As for Tao, well, i'm kinda stuck with him cause of Buncha, and then also, the proposal i made because my friend and I did then. We reopened once our creative juices got flowing again. btw, i won't be posting so much over the break, because I have three weeks with my mother in Wisconsin, and then a three weeek academic summer camp where i go to college....))
