Kestin Sha So you guys know that word I don't like people to use around me.
Well, I've been thinking about the fact that it's so common. Think about what it is: a derogatory term for a group of people. Yet there are many other words that are basically the exact same thing to different groups (race, sexuality, etc.), and those words are treated a lot more severely. I hear them very rarely, and the person who said them always, without fail, gets in some degree of trouble for it -- I've seen someone get a warning for doing so in this guild. Yet this particular epithet, while it's arguably the very same thing, is used constantly, by plenty of people who claim to be tolerant, and I've never seen anyone even get a reprimand for it. Not even in class.
It's not fair.
I'm shaking so badly right now. I cannot keep this pent up. It's not fair. It's not right. I can't stand seeing this happen, seeing it used at least twice per ordinary thread even in "safe", "tolerant" guilds like this one, without even a comment from anyone else. I hate being the only one who cares. I hate being the only one who seems to realize that it is, in fact, an offensive term, and should, by all logic, be right up there with the thirty-or-so words that would automatically raise a PG movie to an R with a single usage. Could I possibly make it so that you're not offended by it? [/shot] asianretart Some people in this guild hate me :/ I know it. I figure everyone hates me, yet are too nice to say anything. Minus one. Not going there, however.

@Divine: No.
Secret: My cat seems to like the smell of...let's just call it estrogen. This is disturbing. O.o
On a related note (that should be enough warning for the squeamish of you), goddammit I can feel it coming out I've used up two rolls of toilet paper in the past three hours it's so uncomfortable make it stop already I swear I'll cut out my own reproductive organs if it doesn't lighten up how can so much stuff come out of a hole too small to fit a freakin' tampax

@ Kestin - That is exactly why I went on birth control. You wouldn't believe how much it helps.
Seriously, I had really heavy periods and I would bleed for a week and a half to two weeks and soak through supers in two hours. Now, I only have one period every three months, and when I do it's about three days long and not that heavy. You should try it; it's amazing. heart

Logging into twelve different mules every time there's an event is a real pain in the a**. gonk
But with free items being worth so much nowadays, I'm going to have to start doing it anyway. xp
Now if only I'd done so with the 7th anniversary envelopes. crying

In the two months I was on it, all it did was make them happen more often, but still just as bad.

I had horrible mood swings on the first one I tried, but I'm on Yaz now and I'm not depressed anymore, my acne is gone, and, of course, the above benefits. I also gained ten pounds on this one, but it's worth it... I think? xD

Can't guarantee it won't clash with the millions of other meds I'm on though. >.< My other problem is that I'm too squeamish around the subject to even mention it to anyone offline, be it a doctor, a parent, a camp bunkmate... sweatdrop ...Looking back at this post, I just want to ask the universe: why can't things ever be simple? ._.
