That is why I don't know if should run away to Orochimaru or not. "
Her eyes closed slowly, and her blonde hair cascaded over her shoulders till it hid her face from view. She was lost for words again at this point, and waited for some sort of response from Fenris.

"Run to that snake? Never. I was controlled one before, and being controlled again does not sound pleasant." Fenris said a bit harshly.
"Mai... you said you hated being used as a weapon, correct? Look at Clow. He hates Orochimaru, and is foced by Orochimaru's cursed seal to fight for him. The best choice would be to.... go to a new academy."

"That may be the best choice for you, Fenris, but not for my student." Seph said, hopping down from the roof. He kept his chakra hidden. On his face was a scowl.

Mai opened her eyes wide still looking at the ground. She knew this wasn't going to be pleasant now. She gulped afraid to turn around and face him. She would answer Fenris , but another time now.

Fenris smiled and waved to Sephiroth. "Hello, how are you today, Sephiroth-kun? Enjoying sneaking about like a little rat and eavesdropping? Or pushing yourself into places where you're not wanted?" She asked politely, crossing her legs and leaning an elbow on her knee, chin moving to the palm of her hand.

She had never felt herself freeze up before in anything where she couldn't do a thing. It took her a few moments to lift her head a bit and nod following him. The entire time she walked to him, she refused to pick her head up and look at him.
"Yes,.. sensei."

"The feeling is mutual, Fenris." He turned and walked with Mai, making his up the porch and back into the Dojo. He pulled a book and the bookcase lifted, revealing the door to the Ho Dojo. Seph opened it and slipped inside, holding the door open for Mai.

She followed, her head remaining down the entire time as she followed him to his dojo. She had not spoken a single word since saying ' yes sensei' to Seph. On top of that, she was afraid he'd know about her sneaking out and what Clow had to do...

He shut the door behind them and sighed softly. "I heard about your plans, Mai, and I'm not going to physically try to stop you from leaving. I'm not going to let anyone try to stop you. You have your life, and you should not be told how to live it, by anyone. Not Neko, not I, not Clow, and especially not Orochimaru."
He crossed his arms and leaned against the wall. "But you need to understand that if you do run, you will not be free for very long. Orochimaru's curse, combined with the demon inside you will not let that happen. Not to mention you'll be chased by ANBU wherever you go." He grumbled something incoherent at his mention of ANBU.
"What I can offer you here at the GNA goes beyond that freedom. Here, you have Clow to teach you to control that God-Awful curse until we can find a way to rid you of it. I can teach you how to control your chakra and suppress that demon within, and above all, you're safe here."
He paused once more, knowing he forgot something. The lightbulb in his head went off. "If you'd like more freedom to move around, you can have it. But in return, you've got to do something for me, too. I need you to promise me that you'll try your hardest to do everything that I ask of you as a Sensei.. Ah, I know I'm getting ahead of myself here. This is all if you even wish to stay."

She slid to the ground against the wall as he said all this. She looked at the ground not seeming to blink. She had her arms wrapped around her legs,.. and her chin on her knees.
"Thing is though, i'm not really alive, the demon was put into me when i was dead, for only one purpose, to rid of it. Instead of it dying though, to their horror,... I sat up and killed half of them. That was over fifteen hundred years ago. Clow knows parts ofthe story, but none of you know anything about me. All you see is a pathetic girl with a demon who overtakes her and causes madness everywhere she possible could. I asked clow to kill my yesterday,... he refused to. "
Pausing for a few moments to figure out how to start the next part of it she let out a long sigh.
"the anbu can't hurt me, it won't matter if they capture me, they kill me, it won't do a thing, then they will all die. One more thing, you say I'm safe, I may be here, but not from myself, I never will be from myself. I will never be a human for real, that is my real curse."

Seph smiled. "I think I may have a way to rid you of that curse, too. It's not a full promise, but it's a start. If you'll give me the time to work it out, that is."

"you mean lend you acess to examining the mark to try and rid me of it? or experimenting with it....?"
She looked up at him thinking. She wasn't even sure if she wanted to lose the mark, but wasn't going to fight right now.
She waited for his answer to see exactly what he was planning to try with it.

He shook his head. "Wrong curse. I'm talking about that demon that's inside you. I think I may have a way to rid you of it, without any adverse effects. I can fill you in completely right now, if you're interested."
