Silent, move swiftly and silently as the wind. Stalk, shifting from shadow to shadow like the night.
Yeah right.
Lee's tanned leather boot stepped down and snapped a dried branch, alerting the grazing deer to his presence. "s**t." He growled as the large game poked it's head up in a brief moment of fear, bounding away with all the grace and beauty mother nature could conform into a single, four legged, creature. Shifting the bow in his hand, the knocked arrow slipping from it's position on the bow string to his free and and into the quiver on his hip, Lee took to the chase!
Fat chance he was going to catch it, but he'd been hunting that deer all morning and that damn twig had just screwed everything up! Towering trees protected Lee's footing from the typical underbrush that liked to grow uncontrollably in wilderness areas, granted it did the same for the deer, and allowed him to bound in great strides forward. Despite his rather thin build Lee's body held power, power enough to keep him on a relative pace with the bounding deer.
Forest rush passed him on either side as he jumped across the fallen logs and crater dotted landscape, now covered with fallen leaves and newly sprouted seedlings that would one day cover the terrain completely, that had likely once been a site of a cataclysmic battle between two super titans. The deer disappeared out of sight, ducking behind a sheer vertical rise in the ground, likely another result of said previous battle, and Lee slowed his pace. There wasn't any way in hell he was going to keep up on a dead sprint, best to let it calm down, slow down, and have him track back up on it. So he came to a slow jog, letting his heart race and muscles cool back down to a safer level before he eased even more into a slow stalk. He could track a lot better than he could sprint like a deer...
"Yeah," He panted, sweat trickling down his shoulder blades, "Let's just do that." Knocking an arrow he returned to his slow, deliberate, tracking.

((Whoboy, it's been a while, please forgive my lack writing skills u.u))
Once again Misukai found herself in the forest. It had been quite some time since she'd last been there. As she walked she recalled her past adventures with Dawn and the strange boy that they'ed found. Though it was kind of scary at times, for the most part she very much enjoyed her company. She quite missed Dawn, he had always taken care of her when she was being clumsy (which was all the time.) But for now she was determined to move forward, in which case required her to retrace her own steps. Perhaps they would meet again? Mizu took out an old photo to keep her mind focused on her current mission. It was the same one it had always been... The picture reminded her of how her sister had tried to get her to skip school that day. At the time she would protest, worried about getting into trouble with the teacher, but now she wouldn't think twice if offered the chance again. She hadn't seen her sister in years, and has been searching ever since. The pattern was always the same, she'd be in high hopes with a small clue as to where her sister was, probably meet someone new along the way, and end up quite dismal at a dead end, soon having to part with her companion as well. She couldn't say she was use to it by now, but it was becoming a little easier to accept (she still had her Panda after all.) With a sad smile she tucked the photo away into her pack, holding the plushie out infront of herself for a moment, "Okay Mr. Panda, we're really going to find her this time. I'm sure of it!" Though she talked to her backpack often, the words may have been more for herself. She slipped the strap of the panda-like doll over her shoulder and set off deeper into the forest.

From deep within the darker reaches of the forest less frequented by people, walks a seemingly trivial figure. This figure moves silently among the dense trees and brush, as if on a leisurely stroll. Appearing to be in his natural element, there was little trace of his passing through the underbrush. Pausing, one of the few beams of light reaching into the shadows of the forest illuminate the figure's features. It reveals a man in dark colored clothes, with red hair, an eye patch over his left eye, and his face partially hidden under a piece of what looks like fabric. Upon closer look, a pair of red furred ears and a tail are noticeable. With a heavy sigh, he started moving again.
The man moved slowly onward, traveling one of the paths created by passing woodland creatures. His one good eye was unfocused; seeming gazing off in the distance as if remembering something. Whatever the day dream was of, it lead to a slight smile. Eventually he would have to return, but for what purpose was still unknown.
Having called this place home for so many years, yet not having seen it for far too long. Much may have changed or everything might still be the same. He would just have to see what awaited him as he got closer to his destination.
