Once her smoke was finished (and she took her sweet time, too) Maddy sighed and stood back up.
"Well, let's finish this, I guess."
Suddenly, a massive wave of water washed over the sub and swept her (and most likely others) into the ocean. Maddy surfaced, sputtering and coughing up water.
"Da fu--"
The submarine and the surrounding waters were suddenly teeming with Water-type Pokémon.
Maddy sighed.
"Well, let's fight some Pokémon."
[Everyone fight 2 Water-type Pokémon. Catch one if allowed at your rank. Roll a 100-sided 10 times. The first two numbers that fall between 1 and 53 will decide what you fight. Any numbers above that must simply be ignored. If you roll either of the battle deciding numbers a total of 3 times, the Pokémon they correspond to will be shiny. Depending on your tier, the Pokémon you fight will differ in evolution stage. If you are Tier 5 or lower, the Pokémon won't be evolved. If you are Tier 4 or 3, the Pokémon must be evolved at least once. If you are Tier 2 or higher, the Pokémon is definitely fully evolved. The Pokémon you want to catch, however, does not need to be evolved.
If you manage to roll all numbers above 53 then contact an admin.

Maddy released her Honedge as a Slowking clambered out of the water and onto the sub. Slowking attacked with Water Pulse, trying to blast Honedge off the sub and into the ocean water.
"Shadow Claw!"
Honedge slashed at the opposing Pokémon, it's blade pulsing with a shadowy energy. It struck hard, Slowking sliding along the sub. The opponent summoned a powerful wave of water that washed over Honedge, hitting hard.
"Another Shadow Claw!"
The second hit ended the first battle. Maddy began to make her way out of the sub when she felt something tighten around her ankle and drag her underneath the waves. Looking around, panicking, she realized a Huntail had wrapped it's long body around her leg.
Tearing a Poké Ball off her belt, she released her Raichu out onto the submarine. He stuck his long tail into the water for Maddy to grab and started to pull her out. Raichu grabbed onto Honedge, who helped him pull.
After a few moments of struggle, Maddy flew out of the water, bringing the Huntail with her. The fish Pokémon slipped off of her leg, trying to retreat back into the water.
"Thunderbolt!" Maddy barked.
Raichu nodded and unleashed a powerful torrent of electricity at the Huntail, shocking it before it could disappear beneath the waves. The attack was powerful and managed to OHKO the opposing Pokémon.
"Whew..."
Maddy wiped some sweat from her brow, now safely sitting back on the submarine.

Rose vs Krabby, Goldeen, and Feraligator
Rose got a little wet, but her seat belt held her in place, so she didn't fall out of the sub like the others. Rose unhooked herself once the sud righted itself and she climbed out of it and saw all the water Pokemon

Sammy felt the waves move around the currently possessed body. Jake was off in her nightmare realm and she wasn't letting him go.
She floats up through the sub, now angry. Whatever was bothering them was going to be put to an end.
A Seismitoad approaches the angry chibi Gengar. The Gengar glances back down at where her trainer would be through the sub and back at that Pokemon.

"A..A Seismitoad?!" Jake asks, watching that very Pokemon emerge from the shadows in front of him. He was in a dark place, the only sights were the grotesque eyes that were stuck around in random spots. The Pokemon readies an attack and he grabs a ball off of his belt. The outline of his Gengar appears in front of him. Not one to question the dream he just shouts an order.
"Energy ball!"

Sammy scoops up some algae from the side of the sub and blasts the stuff with energy, forming a glowing green orb of grass power. She launches it at the giant toad. The ball explodes on contact, spreading the algae all over. The Seismitoad freaks out from pain and bails. It swims off never to be seen again.
A Swana then bumps the sub. It seemed like it was calm until it saw Lil' Sam. It was that Pokemon that made this thing bump her! It was time to teach it a lesson.

"Hiyahh!" Jake shouts as he karate chops a Swana in the neck. He's worried now as he watches a large swarm of them close in. The ones that weren't after him were tearing at the eyes nearby, causing blood and goop to cover the area with disgusting squelch sounds. He then notices the silhouette of his Gengar is still around.
"Thunderbolt!"

The Swama, now smoking from the powerful electric attack, flies off in a panic.
Sammy nods, proud of herself for beating those two Pokemon. Although she wouldn't have known what to do if not for manipulating Jake's dream. With an evil snicker she phases through the sub and back into Jake. Time for more torment.

The eyebrow stayed raised. He could only imagine the conveyor belt in the closet, but an oven in the bathroom....
"I think I'll just stick to the donuts..." Caleb said, feeling somewhat uneasy. There was only so many things Caleb went to the bathroom for, and one of them would not be for making cookies anytime soon.
"I'm surprised you didn't just build an entire kitchen..." he mumbled.
Caleb grabbed his chair as the wave hit them.
"Well that happened...." Caleb sighed. Marshtomp hurried over to him. Noibat could be heard above, obviously agitated from being rocked around a bit.
Caleb gave a shout when something smacked into his foot. Mostly from surprise of course. He looked down to see a disgruntled turtle looking back up at him.
"Uh...shoo..." Caleb said wearily, nudging it back with his foot. The Tirtouga didn't seem to enjoy that much at all. Showing its displeasure, it bit down on Caleb's foot. If it wasn't for Caleb's shoes, he'd really be having something to yell about. He could still feel it of course. Marshtomp rushed forward to assist Caleb, sliding across the now slippery floor of the submarine. A chop to the the head got it to let go of Caleb's foot. Tucking in its head and fins, it spun across the floor at Marshtomp. Marshtomp wasn't having any Rollouts in the sub! He charged forward before the two water types slammed right into each other. The force knocked Tirtouga over and on its back. It flailed pitifully as it tried to get up again. Caleb sighed before tossing a poké ball at it.
Whenever Caleb reached out for the sealed ball, another hand reached for it as well. Like the size of a small child. The Pansear and Caleb looked eye to eye with each other. What the heck was a monkey doing out in the middle of the ocean?! Caleb couldn't figure it out.
Caleb's Noibat seemed to have had enough of all the commotion already. She swooped down, tackling the Simipour right in the face. There was screeching and claws flying everywhere. Noibat fell back as the Simipour sprayed scalding hot water. Furiously flapping her wings, Noibat created a gust of wind, sending the spray back at Simipour. Not liking the taste of its own medicine, the monkey fled out the open door of the sub and back to the ocean where it had come from.
Caleb plopped back into the co-pilot chair and let out a long exasperated sigh. Noibat hissed her displeasure as she retreated above again. Marshtomp dusted himself off, looking a bit smug after defeating the wild pokémon.

Rei plopped head-first into the ocean. He sputtered and spat out the salty seawater, flustered at being caught unawares.
"Ah, crap," he grumbled, "my star chart's gone." A tentacle poked the Aquan in the rib cage. He looked down to see an Omastar holding his chart and journal, waving it around like a trophy. Rei's grumbling turned into outright anger.
"Hey! That's my stuff!" He fumbled around in the water and pulled out a Poké Ball.
"Gex! Come on out!" The Sceptile leaped forth from his capsule and landed on the submarine, a picture of grace. Gex's eyes shifted from Omastar to Rei.
His partner was in trouble! Superhero Gex will save the day! Gex assumed his Battle Stance, the leaves on his arms already glowing in preparation for a Leaf Justice Blade attack. To Gex, Rei was a drowning damsel in distress, and he would do all he could to save all damsels. Gex flung itself at the Evil Dr. Oma, hacking and slashing away at the evil doctor's mighty carapace. Dr. Oma responded in kind by shooting missiles from his hidden silo, striking thrice before Gex could retaliate. With a battle cry, Gex stabbed its sharpened leaves into the Omastar.
"You'll never defeat me!" the Evil Dr. Oma cried, brandishing a book and preparing another missile attack.
Rei threw an Ultra Ball, capturing the Omastar.
Gex blinked. The battle was over? Dr. Oma escapes?!? Next time, Gex thought as he was recalled, next time we shall finish the fight. This is not over!
Rei gathered his materials and tossed them in the submarine, hoping he could salvage some of his work. A jet of water sprayed him in the face as he reached for the submarine's entrance.
"Ackpth!" The culprit, an Azumarill, giggled loudly. Rei was beside himself in anger.
"First my notes, and now this? Ugh." He sent out his Whirlipede and struggled to get another hold of the submarine.
"Cho, I don't care how you take this thing down, but do it quickly!" The Whirlipede nodded and spat out a toxic venom that burned right through the Azumarill's skin. It splashed its tail against the water, sending a wave at the Whirlipede. The bug only smirked at the wave, giggling madly before spewing out its special sort of venom that took advantage of the poisoned Azumarill. The attack was straight-up deadly, and Azumarill fainted on the spot.
Rei's belt wiggled, and a Charmander cheered in satisfaction. Experience share was an amazing thing.

Reserve (Seadra and Quagsire)
Yamato was already on the submarine and took a nap. When the wave hit the submarine, he woke up and got on the deck. He was suprised to see a lot of Water Pokémon on it. A Quagsire looked at him and blasted a Water Gun. He jumped to a side and pulled out a Pokéball.
"Koji, come out!"
The Machop stood into the battlefield and readied to battle.
"Koji, use Brick Break," he commanded.
The Fighting type Pokémon's hand glowed, then he rushed over the Quagsire. The Quagsire countered with several Mud Bombs. One of them hit Koji, thus slowing his speed. But the attack kept going and hit directly into the Quagsire's stomach, making it faint.
"Good job, Koji," Yamato said.
At the time Koji turned around to hear Yamato's compliment, another blast of water hit him from behind. This time, it was a Seadra using Hydro Pump. Yamato recalled him and sent out Po, his Pidgey.
"Po, use Air Slash". The Pidgey's wings let out several saw disks of wind at the Seadra. The Seadra didn't give up just yet. It shot out a Smokescreen, but unfortunately for it, Po has Keen Eye ability.
"Finish it with a Wing Attack," Yamato commanded.
His wings glowed brightly, then clashed it into Seadra's body. The Seadra fell down in the water, fainting.
"Good job, Po," he returned the Pokémon back to the Pokéball

With all the Pokémon cleared away, everyone piled back into the sub and Team, Aqua continued on their way.
Maddy was sitting in her pilot's chair again, sighing. She wanted another smoke already.
"Have any of you been to Unova before?" She asked.
She had been there briefly a few years ago. She remembered that the region was fairly big into technology. It was almost like a giant industry.

"I've never been there" Rose answered to Maddy, following her "I've been to Almia, Oblivia, Fiore, and Kalos. That's it. I guess that's more countries then a lot of people ever visit, though. Unova will be number five for me." she retook her seat and put on her seat belt again, grateful for being relatively dry compared to the others.

Noibat grumpily retreated back to her spot above them. Marshtomp hopped back into his seat. He sure wished he had a pillow.
Caleb sat back down at his co-pilot seat.
When he heard Maddy's question, his face went blank.
"Nope...never been to Unova," Caleb replied. Well at least he answered the question.

"Hmm I wonder." Jake says to himself as the zombie Murkrows close in on him. He turns to face them, now tired of running.
"This has to be a nightmare..." The Murkrows grow dangerously close. As they're about to hit him the upper half of a ghost Machamp emerges from his back. In a flurry of super quick punches they're all on the ground.
"As I thought. A nightmare... Cause by Nightmare." He looks around cautiously. If he was being targeted outside of battle then the user must be around somewhere.

Samara kept Jake up in his seat. He was no longer in pain but seemed rather calm. The shadow behind him on the other hand, was quivering a bit. It lets out a small poot.

"ORAORAORAORAORAORA!" The ghost of the Machamp shouts as it rains punches onto the outline of the Gengar. The Pokemon is unable to shout in pain as the punches are so hard and fast they're paralyzing.
With a final blow the Gengar is sent rocketing out into the darkness, slamming against an invisible wall Jake wills into existence.
"Wake up time?" He asks as he cracks his knuckles. He slowly approaches the injured Pokemon, ready to deal more damage. It's not like he was actually assaulting his Pokemon so it's okay.
