"JABBERWOCKY!" Raven shouted, lifting his head instantly from the table he sat at.
The Ace of Spades suddenly felt dizzy. He groaned loudly and rubbed his heavy eyes. Raven had fallen asleep at a table in a small tea shop. Having walked all the way East, Raven had began to feel rather hungry. It had taken the Ace of Spades quite a lot of willpower to avoid the gambling parlors and to buy himself something to eat. He had ordered himself something sweet as usual. Still, the sugary sweetness of his sand-like tea and chocolate cake wasn’t helping him stay away. He had fallen asleep on his table rather quickly, his mind later producing a rather peculiar dream.
“What in Wonderland was that?” Raven whispered to himself, smoothing his hair back into place. I had a strange dream . . . one where the castle was surrounded in orange . . . bright orange . . . and screams . . . what in Wonderland . . . ?
”Is everything alright, sir?” a short and stick-like waitress said, placing a hand on Raven’s shoulder.
”Ah,” Raven said cheerily, placing a hand on the back of his head and offering the woman a childish smile, ”Everything is quite alright. I just feel asleep. I suppose I should have ordered black tea.” Raven chuckled sheepishly, noticing the mushy sugar mix that was his tea. Steam was no longer rising from the cup, so Raven presumed that his tea had become cold.
”Alright then,” the waitress said, offering Raven a smirk that seemed to be an attempt to hide her teeth, ”Just let me know if you need anything, dear.” The waitress turned a heel quickly, her ringlets of brown hair bouncing as her heels clicked away.
The Ace waited for the woman to leave, then shuddering and brushing off his shoulder. I should be leaving. I am wasting time here and don’t want to upset the Jack of Spades any further . . . still . . . what is this ill feeling I just can’t seem to shake off?
Victor gasped, whipping his head immediately in the direction of the all too familiar voice. There he stood, the tall and sinister figure of a black haired man with narrow blood thirsty red eyes. The smirk on his face was eerie, almost as eerie as that of the Jack of Diamonds. He was a Diamond, after all, the Ace of Diamonds, a dear companion of the late Ace of Hearts.
”You,” Victor hissed, his lips revealing his line of grinding teeth. He clenched a shaking fist, now frightened that the only weapon he carried was a small yet potent explosive. His gun was not in its holster and he carried no blades. He was nearly weaponless. Ven was also at his side. He had made it clear that the blade at his hip would be driven through any Suit he saw, but Victor knew that starting a fight with the Ace of Diamonds would be a big mistake.
”Ven,” Victor whispered, ”Leave this man alone. He’s here for me, not you.”
Lewis turned to the Joker, cocking his head to the side. ”I say we leave right away, fool,” he chuckled. Their lives were all in peril, but Lewis was more concerned about Jack. His breathing was not well and inhaling black smoke would only make his condition worse. The undertaker then wondered why he had kept his thoughts to himself. Judging by the words the Joker had spoken, Lewis now knew that the Joker was fully aware of Jack’s tuberculosis and knew that Jack was close to death. He wasn’t dying, but he was close to it. Jack was even beginning to exhibit the classic signs of dying. The denial stage had already taken place, so Jack was now in the anger stage. Lewis laughed lightly, imagining Jack in the bargaining and depression stages. The undertaker knew entirely, however, that the Jack of Diamonds would never enter the stage of acceptance. A man with an ego as large as Jack’s could simply not accept the end of his life.
”Come, Jack of Diamonds,” Lewis said, lifting Jack from his seat. ”I do believe I heard a familiar voice at your door.”
Jack turned to the door, now aware of the slamming and screaming of what sounded like his doll. ”Yes, let’s get out of here fast,” Jack hissed, placing a hand to his mouth. ”That would be the Jack of Clubs at the door.” Jack staggered to the door, fidgeting with the lock and finally opening it to reveal not only Gestalt, but scampering Suits and smoke filling the halls.
”Jack of Diamonds!” Gestalt shouted, noticing Lewis and the Joker, ”Come! I will take you to an escape route!” Gestalt supported his master’s body by hooking Jack’s left arm around his neck and grabbing Jack by the waist. It had been weeks since Gestalt had given Jack a physical exam, weeks since he had to lay hands on his master’s body. Jack had grown rather thin from his food refusals and medical condition. Gestalt could feel his master’s ribs at ease and could now notice how thin Jack’s wrists had become. For a thirty-one-year-old man, Jack was far too thin. Then again, Jack wasn’t healthy at all.
”How about you two?” Jack wheezed, using his free hand to shield his mouth, ”Are you going to follow us?”
Lewis eyed his companion. His lips formed a crooked smirk as his eyes scanned the Jack of Diamonds, the supposed ruler-to-be of Wonderland, in such a helpless state. As much as Jack didn’t want to admit it, Lewis knew that Jack relied on Gestalt. The doll he and his sister had bought for Jack may have been abused badly, but he was also helpful to Jack, very helpful. It brought warmth to Lewis to see that the gift he had gotten his friend was meant for him. Gestalt not only helped Jack’s day-to-day and medical needs, but had also helped to satisfy Jack’s sadistic desires.
”I cannot add a weight to two Jacks,” Lewis chuckled, ”Perhaps I will tail the Joker. Two men of death evading death, now that will certainly prove interesting. I will see how far this limp of mine will get me. If it doesn’t take me far, oh well. I suppose Wonderland will have to lose an undertaker.”
Jack pursed his lips, hoping dearly that Lewis didn’t die. Lewis was the only person aside from Gestalt that Jack trusted. Losing Lewis would be rather inconvenient and even saddening to Jack.
”Do as you wish,” he muttered, ”But don’t get yourself killed. Let’s go, Gestalt.”
”Right away,” Gestalt answered, immediately carrying his master away as quickly as he could.

Ace of diamonds lowered his semiautomatic gun just to walk in front of the two males "Now, Ace of hearts" He said tranquilly, looking from one men to the next "Are you coming along peacefully so that i can play with you at ease or are we doing it the hard way?" Ace of diamonds asked getting close to the Ace of hearts and lifting his chin with the barrel of his gun, he could barely contain the excitement, he needed to taste the cooper at the tip of his tongue, the kill of the Ace of hearts needed to occur already but he held himself back by the idea of torturing him before, he needed to make a death worthy of an Ace for him, yes, not like the last time he killed an Ace, yes, not like that, the Last Ace of Diamonds had died too soon, The current Ace of Diamonds hadn't even been able to deliver more than 3 blows, not fun, not fun at all, but he had been 15 then, quiet inexperienced as well.
And this guy, the Ace of Hearts, the way he had killed the previous Ace of hearts had made Ace of diamonds envious, it had been such a beautiful sight just to see the pretty pool of blood he had made, he just wished he could had been able to see the process, maybe he should have the Ace of hearts tell him the details before killing him, take the truth from his lips while killing him, that sounded about right "i could always use a fight as warm up" he said looking at ven from the corner of his eyes, aware that the boy was surely anxious to make his move, not that he minded, maybe the boy was trained on the ways of the sword but he himself had been trained in combat and weaponry for over eleven years now.
At her third fall the Ace of clubs had hurt her ankle but even then she didn't stop heading for the castle "God damn you Ace of Hearts, i bet this is all your fault" she mumbled as she limped on the direction of the growing red figure in front of her "If Charlotte is dead i hope the Ace of Diamonds really finds you" she said with a scowl.
knock, knock, knock, Marcie knocked at her bedroom door before opening it to see if maria was asleep or if she had also heard the explosion "Your highness?" she inquired in a low voice, she would like to see about what had happened at the castle yet she didn't want to leave unannounced.

Maria sat up, easilly awoken due to her restless slumber. She slipped out of the bed and opened the door to face Marcie. "Yes? What is it?" she asked, hoping that they could just check up on Nobody now. The paranoia and worry was eating her up. "Did you want to check up on things at the castle or something?"

(( Hey everyone. Sorry I haven't bin around much. Bin kind of sided tracked with other things. sweatdrop ))
Ven and Victor were right in front of the Ace of Diamonds. Ven looked at the man with anger waiting for the right time to strike.
"Hi excuses me I like to see what your special's are for today?"
"Why who are you?
"Well I am Knave Vendetta."
"Knave Vendetta? The...Knave of Hearts Knave?!"
"Well, I'm not called that anymore but It brings-"
"Oh no....OH NO! GET AWAY!" The store manager takes a broom and swings it a Knave like he seen a ghost.
"Woh take it easy sir! So what if I was a suit?!"
"I know all about you. You killed Hundreds of Suits the night. No man can do that! You betrayed the castle!"
"Hold on a second, I can explain what-"
"NO! JUST GET OUT!!" The manager swung once more and hit Knave right in the face. The confused Knave hit the ground looking up at him. Poor little Ven saw everything. He ran to him and tired helping him up.
"I hope to never see your face again. Everyone will know to watch out for you....including your son."
Ven was still starring at the Ace of Diamonds holding his sword, ready to strike. Ven, leave this man alone. He's here for me, not you." Victor said to Ven as Ven was about to move. He then stopped. He may look determined from the outside, but inside he felt he couldn't do it, he would hesitate in a mere second. "Ugh....alright but just this once." Ven takes a step back and waits.

((no problem zack))
Ace of diamonds gave Ven a side glance before chuckling darkly as he took one step closer to the Ace of Hearts "Such an obedient dog you got yourself, are all the members of your dear resistance a bunch of mindless pawns like this one?" Ha said, venom dripping from his words, the barrel of his gun still under the Ace of Hearts' chin "He is the son of the Knave of hearts isn't he? I wonder if he knows I slaughtered his sister" he said in a conversational way, like he was talking about the weather.
"There seems to have been something like an explosion coming from the direction of the castle" Marcie said placing her hands to Maria's shoulders in an attempt to calm her down a little "I do want to check on someone, would you like to come along or would you rather wait?" she asked not sure what to do with the young Queen, not that she hadn't treated with royalty before, but this Queen of Hearts seemed so much more fragile than the White 'Queen'. even the former one.

Maria was quick to reply, "Please take me with you. This anxiety...it's killing me!" It was terrible how worried sick she was. She too had heard the explosion earlier, which only multiplied her worries by the hundreds. "Oh goodness gracious, I hope Nobody wasn't hurt in that explosion!"

Amy was knocked out cold after the explosion, consciousness out of reach.
The Joker followed Gestalt, taking the Undertaker along with him on the way.

Matt and Henry had been thrown against the wall from the shock wave of the explostion. Matt looked over, and saw Henry a mangled, bloody, twisted mess. He crawled over. He turned the man over to where he could see his caretaker. "Henry..." he said, cradling the man's head in his hands.
Henry looked up at Matt. "Matt.....I want to...Thank you for what you've done.....You've shown me...How to live again...." he said. The blood coming from his chest pooled under him. HIs chest was blown open, and you could see his ribs. He could feel Matt's hands on his chest, trying to stop bleeding. He raised a hand to Matt's face. "Live for me Matt...." His eyes then went dim. "Jake....Coraline....I'm coming...." With that, his chest stopped rising and falling with breath.
Matt's eyes were wet. "Henry!!! Henry come back! We have more stuff to do! You have to help me get Ashle back...Henry..." he said. He put his fingers over Henry's eyes, and closed his eyes for the last time. He stood up, and cried out," Amy!" He started to run in the opposite was of the unconscious girl.
Ashle felt the blast. She took this shock and started to try and undo the straps on her gurney. She got them undone, and fell to the ground. She started to run around, searching for someone to help her.

Victor froze, sealing his lips shut. The Ace of Diamonds had just called Ven the son of the Knave of Hearts. Victor wasn’t alive at the time of the Knave of Hearts’ escape, but he had heard many rumors of the Knave, one of them being his death. The Ace of Hearts heard that the Knave had been killed by the Diamonds and had assumed that there was no one left among them. Now the Ace of Diamonds had accused Ven of being his son. Victor didn’t know what the Knave of Hearts had looked like, so he couldn’t compare Ven to a picture of the Knave and draw similarities. Yet somehow, Victor knew that the Ace of Diamonds spoke the truth.
His heart rate accelerated and he breathed uneasily with the barrel of the Diamonds’ gun to his chin. Under this sort of circumstance, he knew that Ven was out of his control now. Ven would disregard what Victor had told him to do and would most likely attack. In a situation where his life was on the line, Victor couldn’t hold Ven back.
”The Knave’s . . . son?” he managed to utter, his lips now trembling, ”You recognize this man?”
Siyu’s hands trembled and he stared blankly at the burning castle. Slowly, the elegant structure of the castle was being consumed by orange and yellow, a black smoke billowing from the disaster. Screams and cries drifted to him, causing his skin to prickle. Siyu was not afraid of fire, yet something within him told him to be afraid of the flames. A sudden sharp pain in his head caused him to scream and collapse to his knees. He moaned in pain and closed his eyes as he soon recalled why fire was so frightening to him.
”What’s going on? Grandfather!” an eleven-year-old Siyu screamed as he dashed down the halls of his burning home. “Grandfather! What’s going on?”
Siyu ran, avoiding falling pieces of his ceiling as he finally approached his grandfather’s room. There laid the fallen figure of an old man dressed in a blue silk shirt and white silk pants. His gray hair had come lose from its elastic, sprawled on the floor where he laid.
“Grandfather!” Siyu screamed once more, running to his grandfather’ side. “Come with me, I will help you!” With much struggle, Siyu lifted his grandfather off the floor, supporting him with an arm hooked around Siyu’s neck.
“F-foolish boy,” the elder Feng groaned, “Get out of here. Save yourself. Forget this old man.”
“Not a chance!” Siyu cried angrily, moving as quickly as he could with his grandfather, “I’m not letting you die in here! I’m here to help you! Come on!”
The elder Feng gently squeezed on Siyu’s hand. “Siyu . . .” he breathed, “You’ve grown up to be a fine young man.” Siyu kept moving at the best of his ability, now seeing a glimmer of light at the end of his home. “Grandfather! The entrance! We can make it!”
Suddenly, a falling beam from the ceiling came crashing down on the elder Feng, sending him falling off Siyu’s shoulder and screaming in pain as flames consumed him.
“Grandfather, no!” Siyu screamed, tears budding in the corner of his eyes.
“Run, Siyu!” the elder Feng screamed, quite pained, “Run! Save yourself and get out of here!”
“I-I can’t!” Siyu cried, tears now rolling down his cheeks, “I just can’t!”
Another beam crashed down upon his grandfather, causing him to scream much louder. Siyu shrieked not only at the destruction of his home, but at the pain and anguish experienced by his grandfather.
“Run!” the elder Feng screamed once more.
Siyu took a step back, more tears forming in his eyes. After two more steps, Siyu turned his back and dashed out of the house, not daring to look back at the death of his grandfather.
”Shinsei!” Siyu screamed, gripping on his hair as blood leaked from his nose, ”Shinsei . . . wh-what are we supposed to do?”

Ace of diamonds let out a soft laugh, humorless and cold "Oh, you didn't knew?" He said amused at this bit of information "Well, isn't that cute" he said mockingly, circling the Ace of hearts until he was at his back and then pacing and arm around him pulling him close.
"You are such an idiot, not knowing your own recruits, but I guess idiocy must run on the Hearts, the previous Ace of Hearts was also an idiot, maybe that's why he loved you so much?" he said before using the hand he had the gun in to to hold Ace of hearts Head and make him look at Ven "Yes, i recognize this man, dear Lewis made me a good description of him, and it's not hard considering the elimination of his family was one of my first missions, i was not in charge of course, or he wouldn't be standing there today" Ace of diamonds said looking at Ven with and evil smile, he knew what he was getting at, he was not getting close to the Ace of Hearts out of friendship after all, but he would be a perfect human shield if the need arised.
Marcie smiled a bit at the over anxiousness of the young queen, she herself was anxious but wouldn't dare admit it "I would be my honor for you to accompany" she said with a small courtesy "But do place your shoes on first please" she said looking at the bare footed princess.
Nobody had gotten inside his carriage, he was glad now that it had stayed in front of the castle and not on the looking glass, he got off the uncomfortable and flashy white clothes he was wearing and replaced them for a navy and black shirt and a pair of short trousers, he then took off the white high heel boots and put on some worn out combat shoes, he was ready now for the real fight, sword on his pocket and ridding himself of the momentary emotions that had filled him he headed toward the burning castle once more.
Nobody went inside the building closest to the suits facilities, he was looking for an specific suit, the first suit ever, the one that had started this all, he knew that this person was not what he said he was, he had had inside information about the ways of the suits from a reliable source for a while, until they became suspicious and eliminated him in a discrete manner, and even if he had never seen the person he was seeking for now, he knew enough about his modus operandi to be certain that this little game of the cat and the mouse was barely starting, the fire was only to even the grounds, the war was just begining.

Ashle ran through the smoky halls. Nobody noticed the winged girl, there was way to much panic. Up ahead, she saw a head of firey orange hair. "MATT!!!" she screamed, running up to him.
Matt turned around, hearing her voice. He was knocked down to the ground by his love. He 'looked' up at her, runing a hand thorugh her hair. He said without noise, "Why did you call me Matt?" He tried to slither out from her. Chaos was all around them. "My name is Thaddeus..."
Ashle bit her lip, and slapped him. "Stop this charade," she said, pain in her voice. She hugged him again. "God, I missed you Matt...Please don't do anything like that to me again..." she said. She then got off of him, and hugged him again.
Matt put his chin on her head, seeing that she was shorter than him. He said, "It broke my heart, Ashle. It broke my heart to hear your pain, to feel that gun shot because of me...And I had to act like I didn't care about you at all...." He broke the hug and held her in front of him. "I love you, Ashle. With all of my heart, don't ever think that I don't..."
Ashle smiled. SHe stood on her tippy toes and kissed him, softly at first. After she finished tasting his lips, she deepened the kiss, feeling his mouth in hers. It was invigorating to feel his skin, his taste, his heartbeat against hers....His live heartbeat. She wrapped her arms around his neck, keeping the kiss. She could feel his happiness and he held her close to him.
Matt smiled at the kiss. He loved her taste, for it was of oranges. He ran his hands through her long hair, and let his hands venter down her sides. He stopped at her hips, and wrapped his arms aroung them, pulling her closer. He could 'see' her now, that they were touching. He broke the kiss. "If I could only see your face....THat would make this all the more heavenly...But we have to go Ashle..." he said. He let her go, and kept his hand in hers. He reached for the gun in his back belt. He loaded it, and started to run, Ashle holding tightly to his hand and keeping up.
Ashle asked in the chaos, "Matt...Are you really blind?" She was so happy, she felt like she was going to burst. She couldn't believe this was happening. Her piano man had returned to her. "Matt, when we get out of this, I want you to play the piano for all of us...Tao and Alex, Marchy and me...." she said.
Matt looked over his should, and smiled. "Anything for you, mi vida...." he said, his voice nearly bursting with happiness.
Ashle looked behind her, "Matt....Where's Henry? Didn't he come with you?" SHe was worried about the man who'd kept Matt safe all those days.
Matt whispered, "He died, in the blast. Right now, we have to regroup..." he said. He kept running.

Ven couldn't bare to what he was hearing from the Ace of Diamonds. He felt anger and sadness, but wasn't able to react for without channeling your emotions in a fight, you can't win. Also, for the sake of Victor's life. "Shut up....JUST SHUT UP!!!" Ven goes on his nees and puts his hands on his dead covering his ears so he could stop listening to the Ace of Diamonds annoying terrifying voice. "I....I would...I would have saved Sara....if I was there....I'm sorry Sara..." Ven then began to cry. He didn't care if Ace of Diamonds saw him crying. He was a human being and had emotions, some emotions he can't control.
