cody shook his head then followed along the wall holding it. he walked awkwardly into the cafe and sat down at the nearest empty seat. then he reached in his bag and pulled out his bundled up robes and set them on the table. once he set them down he rested his head on them.

Dimitris strained as hard as he could not to look Rocky in the eyes but crossed over to the counter swaying his head as if singing the words to himself in his head. "Well it was your birthday a bit back... and we, Kai and I..." He paused a bit and gave a quick turn to the doors then swept his glance across the floor. "Made you a birthday cake, not sure why he took it with him though."

A figure walks into the cafe, a dark hoodie shrouding his face in shadow. He takes a seat at a table in the back and quietly observes the events passing by...

Kai hurried home, hoping Dmitris was getting into to much trouble because of him. He wondered what Rocky would think... Kai coundn't help how he felt, but still... thsi was his mother after all.
Once he got back to the apartments, he put the cake in the fridge and collecting his thoughts once more, he headed back to the cafe. Tonight he thought tonight I will tell her how I feel.
He walked through the doors of the cafe and put on a smile. "I'm back! Didja all miss me?"

Dimitris let out a faint bark of half protest. "No not really." He was lying out loud with pure sarcasm getting up from behind the counter. "Wassup Kai."

cody was messing with his hand on the table and thew table glowed gold then died down a second later. after that he looked around at the cafe, he realized how much time he spent there. "hmm.. maybe i should ask for a job.." he said to himself. he looked up and mumbled quietly to himself "the flame is dead and has turned to greed and power, now we turn away and put our faith to the moon. and we shall extinguish the flame and its followers that remain. moon give me guidance" he lowered his head and begun to think again

"Naw just ticked off the two people this would affect the most in order to cover you." Dimitris waivered the comtempt from the statement. "How'd you fare after you left off?"

Rocky's grin widened into a smile as he heard the mentioning of cake. He gave him a tight, friendly hug and patted his shoulders. "Thank you! CAAAKE!" He leapt into the air and glomped Kai, licking his face. "Cake for me? Cake for meee!"

(Sorry about the late replies, I have little net access atthe moment. Though I'm happy to see this RP revived^^)
"Well it seems to be going..." he was suddenly cut off as Rocky leapt at him. "AARGH!!" was all he manage to get out as Rocky licked him to death. Once the wolf got off of him, Kai slowly got to his feet and wiped the slobber off of his fur. Shooting Dimitri a quick glare, he walked off into the kitchen to make another cake. "Sorry Rocky.." he called out. "Some uh... hungry orphans looked really hungry and I gave it to them, so I gotta make another one". He whipped up the ingredients and within no time at all, another delicious looking sponge cake was placed in front of the ravenous wolf. "Happy Birthday!" Kai said.

Rocky tucked his locket into his shirt and gave Kai a quick hug, whispering in his ear, "Go for it~ Give her the cake in your fridge~" He smiled, nodded, and sat down in front of his dilectable treat and started digging in, face-first, and with no paws. "Oishii!" He exclaimed loudly, finishing off the cake in a matter of minutes. "Kai, you should open a cake shop!" He said with a muzzle covered in frosting

Kai blushed furiously, his tail fur sticking up on end. "Y-y-y-y-y-y-you knew the whole time?!" he stuttered. He glanced over at Amaterasu, whom was playing with a small ball of magic in the corner. Smoething she did when she was bored. He turned back to Rocky, "Are you sure you don't mind?"

Rocky sniggered and tapped the top of his head. "Telepathy~ I know most things when I want to~" He threw his arm across Kai's shoulders and looked towards Amaterasu. "See, I don't mind at all. You go have fun with that old coot" He laughed a bit and calmed himself shortly after. " I know you won't hurt her, but if you do... Well, we won't have ta worry about that~"

Dimitris raises his hands in helplessness to Kai's glare. "You know Rocky can't be stopped when he sets his mind on something." He shrugged and stepped into the kitchen getting int othe fridge starting to mix drinks.

Kai nodded, his eyes more serious than they've ever been. "Don't worry. I won't screw this up. I promise!" He was about to walk into the kitchen when he had an idea. "Hey Rocky! Were you serious about the cake shop idea?"
