Yea, and besides thats only true for about 10 percent of the population, the rest of us much rather suspect russia of still being evil.... Seriously.... Were worried about russia....
No one minds the fact that we owe China Trillions of dollars, that china is the only successful comunist nation, not to mention the only real super power left. Also we have all of our military forces fighting wars in the middle east, if I were china, I would so invade.

Why? Worst case scenario, Mexico comes under the complete control of drug cartels, who will then probably try to kill off each other, leading to years of civil war. And if for some reason they become a real nation and attacked us, the country would be too unstable to put up a fight.

Russia is actually not so bad anymore. It's not so Stalin-esque or Lenin-esque anymore. They're heavily socialist as far as I am aware, and socialism is not a bad thing. America just demonizes it. I'm half Russian and half German, but I don't know much about the Motherland. Also, we don't owe China nearly as much as people make it out to be. We owe China about eight percent of our national debt. We owe something around sixty-eight percent to the American people. China is falling apart, actually. People are starting to want more of a capitalist system.

@Kotsu: What part of America are you living in? No one where I live is suspicious about Russia at all. In fact, a few of my friends want to move there when they grow up. Granted, they are lower-than-average on the intelligence scale.
Not only would attacking America cause a global war, but it would also crash the economy of every country in the world, including China.

SO how about this, since the economy is crashing everywhere we let the other countries fight and start wars, we sell them weapons building up our economy, then at the last second we swoop in and save the world from evil.-Saw it on the daily show

Germany is actually holding up the European economy at the moment. We have the best economy in the EU at the moment. We have something like sixty-percent taxes, but we live a much more comfortable life because of it.

Politicians are trying to portray russia as evil again, some are even preaching about the cold war starting up again. Load of crap. Also I really don't think were loved enough for anyone to really intervene on our behalf, also China is the most self sufficient nation in the world. Londons burning, france hasn't won a war since god knows win(Get it), I don't even think spain gives a crap one way or another, mexico is swimming in drugs, and canada is one of the only countries i could see helping us.

They can just wait for us to destroy ourselves or be destroyed.Well you could always hope the politicians get their heads from betwixed their nethers, but I seriously doubt that. America looks pretty doomed either way, I would just rather china be the one to take us out, I deplore drugs.
