Okay. Well, first of all. You symbol of Glory is an Eclipse. I am not expecting everyone to have their powers perfectly align with their symbol, nevertheless i don't really see the connection of claws with astral bodies, short of lycanthropy. Which, in the case of an eclipse, i think the energy of the sun would overplay that of the moon in terms of whether the person would change into a beastly killing machine.

I mean, it is obvious that you are into ninjas, with martial arts an kunai knives. So really, the point of turning into a clawfreak kinda eludes me. I mean, the eclipse could seriously empower what the ninja represents. Trickery, deceit darkness. The sun is power, and glory, it is a male symbol. The Moon is mystic, it is a female symbol. The symbology of a female symbol blocking out the male symbol would be outrageous in those times. Feminine above masculine? This reflects a certain idea to me of the mystic, the cunning, doing things above direct power and glory. It is also symbology of prophecy. Always an eclipse is supposed to be a herald of something. So, you could be the herald of the changing tides. Nox's purpose could be turmoil.

I mean, sure, an eclipse could kinda be a symbol of darkness, the attempted denial of illumination, but there is still light that peeks around it. It is false night. It is a lie. I say, you just do something with trickery. Or fluctuation of perception. Or some sort of mystic illusion, stealth. Draw in on your ideas. Create something beyond anything that you can take from other stories.

Thats just my opinion. and you can completely ignore it if you desire with not disappointment from me. That is just how i see it.

As for Nox, I'm wondering, since he's turning kind of beasty and he has the eclipse, maybe he can build on that "false darkness" idea. Fierce appearance (beasty nina dealio), but good person? Dunno, that's just my idea to make it work together.

Haha feather is a little bit harder that an eclipse.

Okay. First of all is the obvious. Feathers are light. They are on birds, and birds fly, so the obvious assumption is automatic flight. But there are other things behind the feather. It is more than just birds and flight.

Look to any shamanistic tribe. Feathers are more than just flight in the physical sense. As one rises in the physical world, one can also rise in the spiritual sense. Feathers are symbols of ascension. People believed that they could help make the soul as light as a feather and could rise like the birds into new spirit realms and see insight into the element of air.

Other feathers were worn, like swan feathers, because swans were considered the spirit of poetry and wearing their feathers would give them greater powers as bards.

Another is the symbol of sacrifice. Birds were commonly sacrificed in old rituals, and their feathers would flutter to the ground.

Well. You take this into account. Rising, air, enlightenment, sacrifice, artistry, beauty.

Well, now Nox said things about angels. In reality, angels do not usually have wings. There are different kinds of angels, and the ones who do have wings, have six wings, and use these six wings to hide the glory of their bodies which the illumination that pours from them can blind or even fry us poor mortals.

Though, feathers are not always having to do with rising, or flight. As there are birds with feathers that don't fly. Ostriches (whos symmetrical feathers represent justice.) Cassowary, kiwis, and more.

With certain cultures, eagle feathers are considered sacred. And someone wearing one that didn't deserve it could get in ******** of trouble. So it is kinda a symbol of being sacred, or above other men.


So, your options are endless.

Sure she could sprout wings and fly, and that could be useful. But at the same time it could be she has a greater understanding of the universe. She could become graceful as a swan. She could become some glorious being who must contain her amazingess, for fear it would send people into a frenzy.

I mean. you picked a hard symbol. I could go into the symbology of the white part. but that may be overdoing it.

Well to explain Nox's claws It would be the beginning of his ability to shapeshift. The style of claws that I give him will decide what his false face (the shapeshifted form) will look like. Also I just wanted to make it so Nox himself would be a weapon without having to actually carry one which adds to the stealth and nature of being an assassin/ninja. I was going to give him a lot of stealth abilities after he gains the full shapeshifting .
And as for what Em said about the whole scary beast that is actually the hero, that is pretty much where he would be going if he took the nightmare beast path. It would be kind of like that if he was to take the natural beast path, but that path would be more toward the finesse of the kill than the stealth. So basically one rellies on stealth due to the brutalness of his battle style while the other relies on finesse due to power being a lacking factor.
I hope I explained that so everyone knows what I mean.

haha, hey, i am tired. I work a lot and when thinking too hard about things that tie in with roleplays names get messed up.

And i can understand why would want to be a shapeshifter. In all honestly though i think that should wait. It can be added in later. It doesn't quite tie in yet, but i will through things in there that will make it a possibility for you if you so desire.

Or you can ignore me, as i said this is just my opinion.

And i am glad i accomplished something emily.
