Well I guess it depends on what part of England you are visiting.
If you are in central London, the touristy parts, you'll probably get people with more 'high-class' styles.
High waisted skirts, suit style jackets, etc..
Poorer areas, you get something more like this.
Then there's places like my nearest town where you get sush a mix between high-end and what some people might call 'goth' you might develope a headache =D

The tourists normally walk around in groups wearing similar shirts in one colour. Usually red or blue.
The majority nowadays is 'emo' or 'chav' basically due to what's happening in our music charts, a lot of R'n B going on.
With few softer rock tracks.
Don't worry about looking like a tourist though, tourists are awesome!
We saw some in this shop from America that didn't know what jam was, so the shop keeper explained it to them and they were so excited they bought some xD
