A pirate group wouldn't have that sort of intel... If you want information on Sith movements you'll have to nab someone in the Sith's command structure.
Even then you'll learn very little, the sith have an overwehlming tendancy to take actions on their own intiative.

Okay, in that case, how about simple fleet movements, or regiment reassignments?

Well... what movements, aren't these guys based in Hutt space, and if they are they wouldn't be in a position to observe such actions. Pirates know rumors and what they've seen with their own eyes, if they do have an intelligence arm its mostly focused on finding out what merchantman has the best cargo and its route, not much more.

Normally, yes. But I wanted to just randomly happen upon a group that just happens to have insiders on the closest Imperial presence. Does that work?

Just remember your goal is to survive at this point, not topple the Empire, not yet. Start waltzing that Revenge-II around and I'll have to bring Borill back. Don't do anything to attact major Imperial Attention... like say taking down a squadron of frigates or something.

There... here's an opportunity to meet your new adversaries face to face before they begin coming to blows... It also gives your PCs something to do. Have at it.

You know Tantis should be able to detect that there are a pair of force users among the pirates.
