Reeve munches on his food, nodding in greeting to Nyl, and mentally picking out the notes to 'No sugar Tonight' by The Guess Who.

Mai woke up realizing she had slept another day. Her feet made their way to the floor and she made her way to the room and showered up changing her clothing to another pair. She walked outside onto the porch and looked at the woods. She just kept feeling sorrow, but she didnt' know why. She also felt alone even though there were people there. The kyuubi was walking on the rail and sat on it in between where her arms were resting watching with her and Mai smiled hugging the fox.
"thanks." She said to it before picking it up and sitting on the steps. She kept hearing what that man had said to her replaying in her head and was beginning to freak her out, but make her want to go as well. He had offered her what she was trying to do to kill. She used be known as a killing machine in the village, and she heard that here she could easily become one too. To her it didn't sound to bad, but she was confused in why this guy was so bad, she didn't really know him, but she didnt' seem to care.
"Well, my dearest. If you seek power...and vengeance...come find me. Here's a little present."

Clow sighed, making his way out onto the porch, and noticing Mai was there. Blinking wide eyed, he leaned against the railing and then looked down to her.
"No one's around. I think we could sneak in a lesson right now."

She looked at him in silence then back towards the ground not really answering.
"i wouldn' t even be here if i wasn't being forced to stay...." She said to herself but loud enough he'd hear it. She was talking about back at the village, something he would most likely not know about unless seph or Neko said something, he'd only know the rumors of her killings. She was thinking about them, how much she still wanted to kill them all. She stood up sighing.
"lets just get this over with."

Clow had already moved, and transported them both by fast running into an open area by the dojo. Clow was known for his speed. They would appear, with Clow's arms around Mai from behind, and holding her shoulders back, with his hands on her neck in a lock.
"Don't worry, I'm not going to hurt you. Just relax. Before we start..."
Clow's hands gently went to her neck, where the curse seal was. He wondered if the touch hurt her. It shouldn't really since it was sealed.
"Does this hurt, at all?"

She had one of her hands clenched into a fist. She didn't trust him, she stood there in silence.
"no...." She said quietly . She still didn't undertand all of it, and right now she didn't really care, she didn't see the point if people were saying it was sealed. She was confused about almost all of it.

He gave a deep breath, and let her go, before he walked around her and took a seat, cross legged. He extended a hand out and pointed it to the spot where she was in a signs to sit.
"You're probably confused about all of this. I guess I should fill you in."

Reeve, having finished dinner a while ago, steps outside. He's seeking training, but isn't sure who is around, so for now he contents himself by using chakra to do backflips and the like on the water in a nearby stream.

She sat where he pointed to and put her hand where it was . It felt strage to her. She was getting parts of it but the main parts she didn't other than power.

Clow took in a deep breath, and tried to pinpoint where to start with her. The others knew the basics and everything, but Mai knew nothing.
"Orochimaru...Hmm. Well, that man that was here, the one that bit you. The reason why I myself...wasn't me. I'm bitten too, you see."
He cocked his neck to the side, and pulled on his collar to show her.
"Twice actually, if you look closely. The first one had no effect on me being controlled by him, so I was bitten again."
He then let go of his collar and continued.
"Orochimaru is one of the legendary ninjas of the world; a Sennin. He looks young, but he's really 50 years of age. He's been killed many times, but with so many vessels, he's able to transfer his soul into another body to keep living. That's his famous technique. That and biting people, which either kills or makes them thirst for more power. I was able to get past that. People think...How could a simple 17 year old like myself do that? I, myself, am not certain."
He scratched at his head and continued.
"Orochimaru is a nightmare, who's killed plenty more, than I'm sure you have. It's hard to explain, and it's hard to understand, I know. It took me a good deal to get the jist of it all. Look, you don't like me, you don't trust me. I can't force you too. But at least let me help you. Once Orochimaru comes near, he can bring you great pain. The same pain you felt when you were bitten. Or worse. You'll go through a dangerous transformation like you did with Ally. Without me around...you could die. I can unseal and seal that mark. That power contained within it...is so much more than even you could imagine...or could take, personally."

"but why did he bite me? was he trying to kill me? " She began fiddling with her fingers thinking.
"and... i understand what the biting did, because it does make me want more power........ which is even worse then it was before. Problem is, it was horrible to begin with in me when it came to power and the wanting to kill. Problem is I don't mind killing, it just isn't in me to care. I don't know why, but it seems that just makes it all the worse to everyone else when it comes to me. But if it just cuases pain i don't understand. You get power but then can't u just kill him then if u have more.... wouldn't he just use power for himself?"

"When I get in a good radius of Orochimaru, he can control even me. I haven't broken that barrier just yet. Other wise he'd be dead. But it isn't that easy."
With a good grunt or two, he cleared his throat again, and persisted.
"I don't think he intended to kill you, other wise, you'd be dead already. I think he believes you have some sort of power with in you, that could be of use to him. I don't know too much about it, but I've heard you have a demon inside of you. Hence the likeness of killing, with no care at all. My seal which I placed on it, should be much stronger than Orochimaru's will, so he'll really have to pry through it. On that note, you're safe."
Clow then narrowed his eyes some, and became serious.
"The Curse Seal, for anyone, is dangerous, you understand? It still has the ability to kill you slowly, if you don't learn to control the power for yourself, and rather for evil instead."
