"Only because she sees the future. I'd be weary to tell someone to do something if I knew what was going to happen. It's understandable. But in all reality she has the reins of this thing she's sending me on so what else can I do but follow her word?" Wasn't logic fun sometimes? Then a nod. "So I don't have to go alone then? That makes the whole experience more bearable that's for sure. Not as lonely either."

"I'm sur she'd have something to say to that, but I can't speak for her on that regards." She smiled. "I don't think her intention was to ever make you go alone, she just wasn't certian fi you should have someone with you. Dunno why, that's all she'd tell me."
"No one likes to be alone." She held her staff a little closer here, and tried not to think of her past, because that's just what it was, the past. She had a family and freinds now, she wasn't alone either.

"Which means it could be a good thing, it could be a bad thing, and even if she knows she won't tell me. But I'm okay with that. I like surprises and well I have faith that she wouldn't try to rip aparat my life in some horrible way." A tilt of her head at Aella as she seemed to take a shift in mood. "No, they don't." Even drow for that matter.

"Tarathiel wants to make sure I do as I said and burn down teh corn fields our enemy uses to grow his troops, those souless things. and I will, as I said. As for this talk of alliance, whom exactly are we aligned with, and do they know anything at all about me being part of the team, or am I going to have to be wondering which ally is going to mistake me for an enemy?"
Though a nod about the Oracle. and a glance at Onyx.
"You can rest here if you have need. and I'm sure Onyx would love your company."
A look over to Kieran and Fianna.
"Buisness as usual, in the Underdark."
A slight grin before back to Aella.
"I won't be forgetting my involvement. I gave up something rather special to get that blade, and I fully intend to use it."
Onyx blushed a bit, thank goodness for black fur, and set the little girl down before crossing his arms lightly and fluttering hsi wings.
"I woudl be grateful for the added company. as Moonstone is preoccupied with that cattle rancher's daughter at present."
A slight grin at that.

Piper laughed slightly in that awkward situation way, running a hand through her hair. "Well if it's one thing I seem to be good at, it's surviving rather bad situations." Then her look went to Malik as he took up the war part. Fine with her...even if she didn't like it. Then a look to her parents as well. "Not fun all the time, I'll admit."
Dismissive wave from Fianna. Not that she wasn't caring or that she was fine with all the talk...she was just trying to not absorb any of it. If there was one thing she hated to do, it was worry. And what with parting ways from her daughter and soon to be son in law...well she'd rather not think about demise being at thier doorstep.
Kieran didn't interject simply because he was interested in the conversation. But that was Kieran for you. Eventually Fianna nudged him into packing up thier newly gifted weapons. Had to keep him busy or he'd go seraching for a journal.
She stretched some...okay that was the oddest moment of her short lived life thus far. But now she felt kind of awkward...after all, her job had been taken from the cat and he took Aella to Piper and then she was kind of set down there without need to be there. Awkward. And in her normal form of awkwardness she bite her lip. But that stopped when she felt a hand pat her on her head and looked up to see Piper.
A tenative smile was given to her Mistress only to get her smile returned and her hair ruffled before Piper made that common gesture movement that told her she could get on her way and not to worry about it. So bucket in hand she made a point to leave the room. Though as she did she ran a hand through her hair only to pull out a black feather as she walked.

Zahara winced when Bode shoved the black goop at her and had to think very quickly. She was not going to eat that...but she'd hurt Bode's feelings. Unless she could be wise enough to get around tasting it without upsetting the little girl. "I think you did a wonderful job, and I think Malik will be very grateful for all of your hard work, but he might get upset if I were to taste it first. He is a little touchy about things like that. So I'll tell you what, we'll let it cool down a little bit and you can talk to me and then we'll go give it to Mr. Malik together. How does that sound?" she asked th elittle girl with a smile.

Aella raised a brow. She had to repeat, did she? "The aliance is with most of Labyrinth. Deep Water, Honoursfield, the pirate drow of the Dark Seraphim, we of the Keep, the Academy, and the elven ships." She nodded. "All know of your involvment. No one will retailiate against you." She cleared her throat, blushing a bit. "Um..yes..well...I have been given other duties...I..."
Bode's little face lit up with glee. "That sounds great! Should we set the table? Do you think everyone would want some?" She put the piece she had speared out back, and climbed up on the counter so that she could look through the cupboards. "I worked really hard on it! I promis it will be good!"

She was not goign to sentence anyone else to eating this...concotion but once again Zahara found herself faced with the child's feelings. "No, I think Mr. Malik will feel very special if you made it especially for him. He can have it all to himself and it will make him so very happy. I wouldn't want to take that away from him so why dont' we just set it for him and then I'll go get him and tell him you have a surprise. What's your name little one?" She reached up into the cabinets and searched until she found a plate and a cup that the child could set on the table.

"Should I put it back in the oven, to make it wamr again?" She was beaming so brightly, Zahara should have been blinded. Her msiled showed perfect, little white teeth, a dazzling smile really. All child like, full of wonder. Darn it, but wasn't she cute? And she knew how to play that up too. "My name is Bode! My mommy's name was rachle, but Mrs. Piper killed her. Dady is outside, his name is Simon. I was taken away by Mean Mr. Malik, and then sold to someone nasty, but Gardian Onyx got in the way, and took me here." Ask for a name, get a life story.

A look to Malik. "There, now stop being paranoid for a time. For the time being we're all on the same side...we can worry about each other turnign against one another when our main objective is out of the way." And her attention went back to Aella with a nod. "We understand...we're all busy in the Underdark these days it seems."

Oynx rested his hands on her shoulders, lightly, drumming his fingers a bit.
"Well I know how you got here so fast, and if you had other duties you probably fufilled those important ones before playing message runner..and that staff takes a bit out of you, it would be nice to recover, wouldn't it?"
A little purring, please indulge me kinda sound, if he was a girl, he'd be batting eyelashes by now.
Malik shook his head lightly.
"I heard that much the first time. but who runs the Dark Seraphim, who owns hounorsfield, what elven ships. names, not locations. I know Kimmuriel runs the keep, Jiscal Deepwater, and Roarke the Academy. who are the other leaders?"

Wasn't she jsut adorable? Zahara smiled at the child and shook her head, "Nope. If you put it back in the oven it might get burned and then all your hard work will be for nothing. I think it's plenty hot right now, especially once he cuts under the first layer. See?" She demonstrated with a spoon as she scooped some of the gloop out from teh bottom and the steam rose off of it. "It's hot enough. You carry the plate and cup, Bode, and I'll carry your creation. then we'll go find Mr. Malik together, okay?"

Aella shoook her head. "The Oracle runs the Keep. Kimmuriel just stops in every now and again. The Dark Seraphim is manned by drow pirates, their leader being Naga the Serpent. She has been one of those who were cutting off trade routes, assulting ships and the like. Honoursfield is now a city of the people, but have elceted Gerard Uth'Mondar as their head of state. Of the elven ships, Celeste, and a Halfling named Gil. There were others there, but they were not invited to the meeting."
She tried to step back when Onyx put his hands on her shoulders, but there wasn't much room for her to do so. He was right of course, but she could easily take two trips in one day. "I.." Actually, she had decided to do this duty first. Eliot didn't even know she had been nominated as Warren's protector, and Tames had to be introduced so as not to tear the boy into pieces..."I suppose...." she found it difficult to refuse under pressure.
Bode smiled. "Okay!" She took the plate and cup happyl and scipped out into the dinning room, placing them at the ehad of the table, then running back to the kitchen for things like forks and knives and what not. She was bouncing on her toes. "Can we go find him now? Please? Dinner will get cold!"

Piper rolled her eyes slightly and looked to her parents who were being patient as ever. For amoment she walked over to them. "Business will always be a bane...but let me leave you out of it. When it's all settled, I'll come by and see you for goodbyes, I know how you two take your reveries." Look, knowing the schedule worked in her favor! But with that said, she most literally pushed everyone out of the room, pulling the door closed behind her. So now they were all out in the hallway as opposed to crowded into the room. A sigh as she ran a hand through her hair. "Anymore questions for anybody?"
