Kat had picked out a few simple shirts and showed them to ryou "here"

"No, no, that one won't go with his hair." An all-too familiar voice said behind Kat, and Marik wrapped his arms around her waist from behind. He watched Ryou for a moment, and only moved his gaze away when the boy flinched and turned. "Try the other one." He chose a random shirt from the ones Kat had gotten, thrust it at Ryou, who took it cautiously. "Changing rooms are over there." He snapped, nodding his head at the sign that said 'Changing Rooms'. Ryou lowered his gaze, hesitating, and then left.

Kat twitched softly as ares were wraped around her waist and looked up to him. "would you like new clothes as well?" she smiled softly.She had become to used to marik to be bothered by anything he did "I would thing you like hot topic better..."

"But you two are in here." Marik pointed out, patting her head. "Actually, I'm hiding from Bakura. I think he might be wanting to make me give Ryou back or something. He seemed angry when I saw him last."

"Oh." she said and smiled "well Do you plan on shopping while your hiding?" she asked and grined playfully "I know one store bakura would never fine you in..victoria secrets.."

Marik gave her a blank stare, and shook his head. "What would I do in there, try on bras?" He snapped, then paused when Ryou came shyly out of the changing room, holding the shirt Kat had picked out, mumbling something about it fitting. "Hmm... Ryou..." He said thoughtfully, an idea coming into his head. He released Kat and went over to Ryou, circling him, toying a little with his hair. "That's a good idea, Kat." He said, nodding his head.

Kat blinked.First he had argued with her thenn agreed with her "umm..alright..." she then held her hand up to ryou "here i'll go pay for the shirt.."

Marik took the shirt from Ryou and thrust it towards Kat, then tugged on Ryou's wrist. "You can go home when you're done with that, or come find us." He said, leaving the store with Ryou.

Kat nodded "alright" she said and paid for the shirt and with other clothes for ryou.She then went in search for them.

Marik had been headed out of the mall, knowing a place he wanted to go to, when a familiar form had stopped him. Smirking at Atem, he rested against Ryou, his arms around Ryou's waist and chest and under his shirt, rubbing his skin. "Why so angry, Atem? Don't tell me that girl died or something. I only jabbed her." He said in the most concerned voice he could muster, trying Atem's nerves. "Let him go, Marik." Atem said, his voice dripping with hatred. "And no, Ember isn't dead. But she is hurt enough for me to have to kill you." "But he doesn't want to leave." Marik said in mock-surprise, moving his hands away from the boy. "I'm not touching him. He can run if he wants." Ryou's head was lowered, and he didn't move. "See?"

Kat had soon cought up to them but not knowing the person she looked to marik "Should I walk ryou home?" she asked quietly.

Marik waved her off, not breaking his gaze with Atem. "Yeah, you go on ahead and do that. It seems that Atem here wants a fight." Before he pushed Ryou towards Kat, he pulled out his Millennium Rod and decided to do something to keep Ryou and Kat busy. He tapped into both of their minds and implanted strong longings for the other in each of their minds.

Kat blushed softly and took his hand in her own "Come on lets go.." she said softly and started to head twards home passing by atem.

Atem's hand shot out as the two passed him, grabbing Ryou's wrist. He could tell that Marik must have intimidated Ryou into silence or something. A growl came from Marik, but he didn't move. A series of expressions passed over Ryou's face, and he yelped when Atem tugged a little harshly on his wrist, his grip tightening. Atem's rage took over him for a moment, and he felt himself growing angry at Ryou for being so passive, not caring what happened to him. "You are going to go back with me." He ordered, knowing that if he requested it Ryou wouldn't do anything. His grip tightened further, and he twisted Ryou's arm. "Understand?" He didn't care at the moment who he was harming. "You're hurting me..." Ryou gasped, wincing. "Let go."
