Mephlius resisted the urge to scoff and be angry. He kept quiet, and calm... on the outside. They think it hurts them... they have no idea...

Amnity shook her head and waved her hand. "No no, don't apologize. The shard only hit my ribs and my arms..." She winced a bit though, because after that hit in the ribs she wouldn't stop coughing up blood for days. "I think you should apologize to Jacob though, the shards hit him in the neck and back! I don't he'll ever forgive you for that." The hunter chuckled a bit, trying to lighten the mood.

"Hehe...Thanks for reminding me." Twi said with a light chuckle. "...Well, I only came here to get a drink, then I should be heading off again." He waved a goodbye to both of them, then went off to another section of the bar and ordered some whiskey.

Mephlius smiled, and returned the wave. After he left, he talked to Amnity. "He's a good man. A bit reckless with his weapons, but good nonetheless."

Amnity agreed. "He's a good weapon inventor...Reckless, heck yeah!" She chuckled a bit, then gave a fake pout as she shoved more peauts into her mouth. "Was that considered an interruption? Want me to hit him?"

He smiled. "Of all the interruptions, this one was probably the best of them. It didn't completely derail the date, or hurt anyone."

Amnity thought for a bit. "...Hmm...We did everything that a good date should, without any major interruptions....But I don't want to call it a night just yet..." a thought suddenly came to her head. "I've invited you so many times to my apartment, but I never got to see yours. Where is it?"

Amnity played a bit with the bowl of peanuts on the counter. "Or we could go and-" Thump Thump Thump Thump Thump Thump... Her heartbeat suddenly got louder and faster, it ringed boomed in her ears as she began to breathe quicker. What the... Amnity hit her chest as if it were to calm to beating down. That ain't a good sign.
