spaceEcho kicked off the instant the Quaffle was in the air; he watched the Slytherin chaser go for it and followed suit, hoping to beat Ashley to the ball. Couldn't let Slytherin score, right? His sister would be insufferable if they lost this game, and especially if they won the game and still lost the cup. He had no desire to sit through her ranting over the Summer, or to deal with her captaining next year. If nothing else, he couldn't let Slytherin score.

Ashley smirked as he grabbed the ball and shot off toward the goals, glancing back only long enough to give the other chaser a cocky salute as he zipped past. Goal one, accomplished. Goal two was hanging onto the ball long enough to score and get those points that Slytherin needed. Hopefully he could do it and Kenny catch the snitch soon to end the game. Unfortunately, that victory was short-lived as he had the ball snatched from him. Hissing, he turned around and chased the little kid, reaching out to try and swipe the ball

Her pace was a bit lackluster as, beside her, the vice captain gunned for the quaffle during the toss up. She shouldered into formation and kept it neat and tight like they had practiced. She knew if anyone, Ashley, would have the best chance at bulldozing through the Ravens, but everyone had to play their part, right? And just in case he was stolen from, she'd be right there to intercept... Like right now. A younger player managed to gain a sudden steal, and she whipped around to try and snatch it right back from Dylan.

As he flew through the air, he avoided another girl's attempt at grabbing, and looked towards Echo. If he managed to avoid again, he'd have a shot at scoring a goal, and that would be great, but maybe it'd be a better idea to let one of the older chasers have it. They probably had a better shot at it than he did. He tossed the ball towards Echo.

But, it was short-lived; the Slytherin VC got the ball from Dylan almost immediately. Echo took off after the fourth year, gritting his teeth as he moved in for the steal.

Unfortnately, Yvonne deflected the ball... back at Gypsy. The Ravenclaw tried to dodge, but no luck; the iron ball slammed into her side, and she heard the crack of a rib. Ouch. Mother. ********.
