x _______________________________________________ As they headed off together, Teddy quickly patted his back pocket, checking to make sure he had his wallet -- when he realized that he still had his backpack and all of his school stuff with him too. Crap. He probably shouldn't bring that out with him. Knowing his luck, he'd leave it somewhere and never see it again. He had a couple math problems in there, and he'd hate to have to do it again. Ugh math. "Hey...I'll be right back. I should probably go put this stuff in my dorm room." He hoisted his backpack a little off his shoulder so they could all see what he meant before he turned and took off at a jog in the direction of the dorms.
He stopped when he came around the corner of his hallway, catching sight of Billy storming to his room. He looked upset, and Teddy felt his stomach twist in sympathy. He jogged after him, slowly as he came to a stop outside of his room. Gently he put his hands on Billy's shoulders. "Are you ok?"

Cassie stood outside wondering what was keeping Teddy. Kori rolled his eyes...
"Is he coming or what?"
" Chill! I'll go check on him."
Cassie went into the boys dorm to find Teddy. When she saw him Cassie noticed he was with Billy who seemed kinda down.
"Hey guys... What's going on?"

Despite Chris's trepidation, the four of them made it to That 50's Diner without incident. They chose a spacious booth, one of those circular tables with the plush seat curving around it and piled in. Chris sat on the end, with Lisa and Hartley in the middle, and Achilles on the other end.
Hartley kept giving Lisa the death stare as she shoved him to inch closer to Achilles and further from her and Chris.
"Evening kids, I'm Jughead and I'm your waiter for the night. Can I start you off with some appetizers or a milkshake?"
Lisa bounced up and down.
"Two milkshakes, please! With four straws!"

x_______________________________________________ His heart pounded as his hands moved gently over Billy's upper arms and back up to his shoulders. Truly, if he could have his wish, he'd curl around Billy right now, wrap tight around him and keep him safe. He wanted to cover him like a blanket and keep him warm, but he couldn't. In fact, he probably shouldn't even be touching him at all right now, but he couldn't help it. Billy was so small in comparison, and he liked how his gigantic hands looked on his shoulders. When he heard Cassie approach his hands stopped their movement, and one dropped to his side. He didn't want to be some big creeper, but Billy looked so little and wounded. He shrugged at her question and left the two there while he went into his room and dropped off his bag.
Normally, he would have changed into something ...well, different, but he didn't have the time right now. Instead, he went back out into the hallway and without even asking Billy if he wanted to come, he scooped him up in his arms, carrying him like a little bride. "Let's go. Somebody needs to be cheered up." He gave Cassie a little smile, looking at Billy for just a second, then turning a little pink.
Billy could probably walk himself.
After a few steps down the hallway, he put the boy down, but he kept his hands on his shoulders, steering him in the direction of the others.

*A milkshake sounded good. Wait? Only two?*
Um...why only two? I could use one too.
*Achilles better kiss his a** because Chris would much rather be back in his dorm room, alone with his guitar. Gee...that sounded pathetic.*

Lisa frowned, with her shoulders slumping.
"My-my brother and I used to share a milkshake here...now I don't know if he'll ever wake up again..."
Meanwhile, Hartley was trying to use the power of imagination to turn the bulgy, sweating guy in the ill-fitting pants next to him into a suave Gene Kelly, and utterly failing.

Cassie looks at Billy. She hoped everything was okay but she decided it was best to leave it alone. It looked like Teddy had everything under control.
" Okay guys let's go."
They walked over the parking lot since Donnie had an SUV and Kori had a convertable. The group split in half. Cassie sat in back seat of the SUV with Dani while Donnie was driving and his wingman Bobby sat next to him. Billy and Teddy were in Kori's car with Kori and Kara. Donald smiled.
" Let's go!"
With that the group drove off towards Midvale.

Billy blinked and kicked his legs.
"Teddy! What are you doing!? Put me down!"
Billy landed on his feet and dusted his pants off, blushing.
"Jesus, its things like that, that make me the laughing stock of campus!"
He looked at Cassie.
"I'm not ok, no. I just got kicked out of Magic Club!"

"I don't really have anything interesting to sa-OUCH."
Lisa kicked Hartley in the shin under the table. He gave her an angry look, and then turned back to Achilles, talking rather sulkily.
"My dad is the owner of Rathaway publishing. So....yeah. There's that. And I like music. A lot."
He started tracing his finger on the tabletop. Lisa gave an aggravated sigh and grabbed Hartley by the head.
"Achilles, have a look at this, isn't it interesting? When you look in Hart's ear, you can see these little metal buttons!"

x_______________________________________________ Teddy let go of Billy's shoulders, taking a step back. Instantly, with just a few words, he had been crushed. Teenagers were delicate things, and even though Teddy was a big bulkier than your average teen, he was still just as easy to break apart. "I was only trying to help..." he whispered, "I don't think you're a laughing stock." Maybe Mary had been right about Billy being a tragic geek...but it didn't matter to Teddy right now.
He followed after Billy in silence like a kicked puppy dog. In the back seat, he didn't say much, his arms folded across his chest as he looked out the window. Maybe tonight wasn't going to be so awesome after all.

Achilles took Hartley by the head and positioned him and leaned back so that he might have a better vantage point.
"Well....you know this reminds me of a 'mo-vee' the football team watched the other night! A man who was a robot who came back in time to kill the mother of another man who had not been born yet...it was all very confusing."

"DON'T DO THAT!!!"
Hartley slapped Achilles back in a rage and jerked his head away, covering his ears.
"That's NONE of your business!"
The waiter slowed to a stop a few feet away, the two milkshakes on his tray as everyone in the diner stopped to stare at Hartley.

He flicked a piece of lint off into the wind, out the car window, and frowned as he had a good sulk going.
"I just screwed up...royally...again. Jennifer was right. I never should have summoned Satana."

"But...she was the one who..."
Achilles felt his face flush...the first time he could ever recall such a sensation. He was embarassed. Honestly -- embarassed! He blinked and looked down, his brow creasing.
"I did not mean to...I am sorry."
He sighed and looked back up.
"Perhaps this was a bad idea. I-I meant no offense. Forgive me."
Achilles got up and headed for the door.
