"Hio, ev... ery... one?" Taking a look around, I notice I'm on the beach. "Hey, Xatu, I thought we were going inside. Why stop out here?"
"Look." She points to the flaming battlesite.
"Ah!" I run to the outside of the ring of fire.

Sammy looked over, seeing Thard. "Hello, Thard..." she wheezed, turning her sightless eyes back to the fight. It seemed that Ginji had the distinct advantage, at the moment.

"Ginji! Don't KILL her!" Adam called out. Did Ginji even know she was pregnant? It seemed Tommy had left, and Thard had arrived.

Ginji jumps high and through the ring of fire, separating it with the enrgy sword raised. He landed over Maddy, sticking the sword centimeters away from her head. "I suggest you leave, for you are not Maddy. She has far more control of her powers than you." the teenager snarled out, a certain coldness in his eyes and a knot in his heart.

"The hell's going on here?" I ask, not knowing how right I was. "Why are those two fighting, and what's this about Maddy not being Maddy?"

"I am... Am not quite sure," Sammy began, gathering her thoughts quickly. "Ginji seems to believe... That Maddy is not really Maddy. I was talking... to her earlier and, seemingly... out of nowhere, she began attacking..." she took a large breath at the end; apparently that had been somewhat hard for her to get through. "I doubt Ginji will be able to cause Maddy great physical pain... Due to his love for her," she finished.

"I knew you wouldn't be able to kill me. You still love me." She brushed the sand off her clothes. "Fine, this battle will be more interesting when you decide to cast away those feelings for me. Besides, I still need to learn to control my powers." With that, she disappeared in a brilliant burst of purple and black fire.

Sammy approached the scene, warily listening for any signs that Maddy was still there. Her energy wasn't there, but Sammy's lack of sight could be deceiving her. She decided that it didn't matter right now. "Ginji; are you alright?" she questioned, planting her feet firmly to avoid falling over.

Adam lowered his weapon, giving a relieved sigh. He flew down to Sammy, helping her stand. "As fun as that was..."

Ginji sighed deeply, it really was not Maddy. The true Maddy could have beaten him easily, but this one was far more...eccentric in her methods. For the true one would have taken on all of Aqua at the same time instead of singling him out. His sword disappeared and light surrounded him as he de-synced and collapsed to his knees, now in his normal clothes.
"What is going on?" he asked from his place on the ground. "Team Clone? No, Maddy's clone doesn't act much like her, nor looks tremendously like her either..." he mused, exhausted.

Sammy took a step forward, although she did appreciate the help to stand. "Ginji..." she stated solemnly, not quite sure how to approach a man who had just had a fight with his lover. Literally. "It will be alright," she assured, placing a sympathetic, blood-ridden hand on his shoulder. Her sightless eyes looked sad for him, and she turned to look over at Adam. "I do not believe... believe that was an amusing experience, for anyone," she stated gravely.

"It smelt like her, it was her aura, it was her." Ginji stated as he walked over to Sammy and Adam. "And I even saw the baby in her belly." he laughed slightly. "I think it really was her, but I think her demon side is a bit behind in terms of power." he explained. "It's growing though, and not slowly."
