At every point where heat was felt, Tutsumi turned to water. It was a reflex by now during a battle. Seph did teach him how to withstand an insane amount of heat, but he found this way to be much easier. His body was taking in moisture from the air in the atmosphere.
In his retaliation, Tutsumi sent a strong telepathic wave down onto Nyl's mind. It was one of Hikari's lesser used techniques and there was a reason behind it...none of his students so far were up to the level. On the average person, it would feel as if quite litterally an elephant was pressing down on their head with full weight but yet their skull wouldn't crack.

A soft mental giggle fluttered across the mindwaves. Another set of explosions went off, flashing brightly around his head this time. At the same time, a group of vines burst from the ground, intent on grabbing his arms and legs in a stranglehold.

"Spinning spinning. Little pieces of wood spinning. Stake a vampire if it walks in. Roast a chicken over a fire. Fire. I should make fire." The pieces of wood catch fire, but don't stop flying around the room.

Seph pushed brush and branch aside. He'd lowered his chakra output greatly, so as not to disturb the ongoing spar. He made his way out of sight of the fight, not wanting to interrupt or ruin the outcome for himself, and stepped into the dojo through the Medbay. He slipped down the hall, leaning back as a shard of flaming wood streaked by in front of him.
"Funny. I don't remember doing that."

A person. She feels him come in. s**t. Ryuu puts out a surge of power and causes the wood to burn up, leaving only bits of ash drifting to the floor. She's made quite the mess.

A small chuckle was sent back. Tutsumi's eyes closed slowly, allowing the vines to wrap around him but the explosions around his head were taken...but not by him. On his forehead, a blue insignia flared up and became live...it was the insignia of the blue flame which he had showed the GNA day in and day out for a long time...and it was now being put to use. A blue ki feild would surge around him as blue flames trailed from his head and along the bloodpath of his body, burning the vines into a crisp. His eyes had turned white, as did his hair while gold dust slowly started to gleam in the air around him.
"I guess the fight starts now, doesn't it?"

Fenris sighed, sitting on the porch and watching all the events in the courtyard. There had been a lot of excitement lately. She noticed Sephiroth walk into the dojo as she followed him curiously. "Seph-kun?" She called with a smile, putting her hands on his shoulders and looking over at his face. "How are you this evening?"

Seph watched the phenomenon, then stepped into the main room, smiling at Ryuu. "If you'd asked, I could have cleaned that up a lot better for you, Ryuu." He moved to a closet and found a broom and a dustpan. Only half-way through his turn did he realize who it was with him in the room.
"Ryuu?!"

Another laugh.

Another wave of vines came at him. They were more numerous this time, dotted with sharp thorns; they sprang from the ground in all directions.

His body turning directly to fire, Tutsumi simply burned the vines as he made his way slowly towards Phoenix. The fire that made his body was operable by only him and would generally turn water into vapor before it could even touch him.

He smiled and began sweeping, "It's good to see you again, Ryuu. How are you doing?" He turned his head to Fen and winked. "Hey there, Fen. I'm just fine."

Fenris sighed and tilted her head to the side, noticing Ryuu. "Why hello there. Long time no see!" She looked up to Sephiroth and thought for a moment. "What was all that commotion in the forest? There were a lot of strong chakras and such."
