Nyl gave Tut's barrier an intense stare. Instead of wind, the barrier she was creating condensed into one of ice, holding up against the heat. The ice had the appearance of frosted glass.

Hundreds of tiny dots would appear on Nyl's barrier, each looking like the tip of a spike that was being driven down slowly and painfully into its wounded prey.

'...What?!'
"You heard me."
A groan. 'I'm hopeless.'
"...Yeah, pretty much."
Nyl smiled. Closing her eyes, she dropped to her knees on the 'floor' of her spherical barrier. She didn't let go of her concentration on it, though. Whatever came next would just have to come.

The dots would slowly grow larger, storing up power in each dot for a large burst of energy to shatter the barrier. At its current pace, it was about two thirds done.

Nyl's smile grew. It was quite peaceful, actually. She could tell, almost, what Tutsumi was planning. She didn't mind.
After all, she was best at waiting.

It was now which the dots would slowly connect to each other and then implode in on Nyl. It wouldn't be enough to kill her, at most it would be enough to maybe knock her out. Was this the end of the fight?

The destruction of the ice wall so quickly, combined with the heat that had been inside the barrier and the implosion, created a large cloud of steam and dust where the sphere had been. It would take a moment or two for the smoke to clear, so to speak.

Keeping her head down, Ryuu makes the shards of wood spin around the room. Small splinters and chunks spin around in a whirlwind. If anyone walked in unguarded, they would be impaled multiple times. Ryuu likes watching the wood spin in her mind, she can see the entire room with her eyes closed.

The barrier would instantly move down upon Nyl to ensnare her, keeping its now two feet density, even though it was still invisible. The spikes that had broken the ice weren't seemingly there anymore, as Nyl wouldn't feel anything.

As the smoke drifted away on the breeze, what Tutsumi would see inside his barrier was the glow of pure, visible chakra. It pulsed in a soft lilac, giving off a light so bright it was impossible to see the person at its source.
Around Tutsumi, several points of air burst close to his skin, in chakra-fueled explosions meant to cause collective damage.

The remaining barrier of air that was still behind him spread out and distributed the damage through the airwaves. Tutsumi rose his eyebrows for a moment before smirking slightly.
"Seems like you want to come out, eh Phoenix?"

((You'd have to be mighty quick to change the air flow in time to divert the explosions that are happening a mere, I'm assuming, centimeters from your flesh. ))

Another set of fiery bursts went off - this time, they were bare millimeters from Tutsumi's clothes and skin.
