Ears dropped some.
"Again. it took me forever to find you last time, what if I can't find you this time? And I was planning to visit you too. after I beat him to a pulp. and I still owe that minotaur as well."
A bit of grumbling about that.
"I want to visit..but I didn't want you to get upset or anything. I mean if I coudl I'd visit everyday but I thought you might get teh wrong idea and then you'd not want me aroudn becuase I was getting to close or something."
For Fianna, of course it was a bow. but one that looked like ti was made out of flowing lava. similar in design to Piper's new bow. for Kieran, A scimitar, the metal verifiable shined, and the whole of it glittered with magic and the handle was silver with a blue gem.
"The bow is from the Plane of Fire. you'll find it has decent range and some nasty elemental surprises for the arrows. the sword is called Patternspinner, and it's from the realm of the dragon god, veeshan. Djinn liked to play with it. supposed to give clarity to the mind, help in the recovery after heavy magic use."
then a chuckle at Piper's blink.
"I can read your thoughts about this blade as easily as I can when I mention the word 'cleric'. I've been around you long enough."

"I'll let you know where we are. Tarathiel is building a castle for Meilikki. We'll all have moved in at one point, I imagine." She didn't say anythign about him beating Warhammer, since she was found of the bull, and didn't want to see him hurt anymore than she wanted to see Onyx hurt.
She cleared her throat. "I don't see why I would be upset, when I asked you to visit." She didn't want this to turn into a fight, but it seemed like that was what it was quickly turning to. She kept her eyes on the floor.

And sure enough, that nice involuntary narrowing of eyes and sudbuded disgusted look at that word. Seemed she reacted to 'cleric' and 'malvolence' the same. What a funny two things to aquaint to the same feeling. So to that...and at the realization of it...she just blushed lightly and gave somewhat of an embarassed laugh. "Really now? I wasn't aware of that. But I do suppose the two are synonomous to me." Then a smile to him. "And to think, you can read me all too well already...I think I may fear the day you can feel from me inside and out on a mere whim of thought."
If Fianna was the squealing type, she would of done it. But she wasn't so it was a reserved yet easily picked up giddyness...after all, how can an expert archer not appreciate a fine quality weapon, especially one that did things to boot. And in that appreciative manner she looked it over. Oh yeah, she would have so much fun with this thing. But a genuine smile was given to Malik. "Beautiful, thank you. I take if that we're even now?"
Kieran had already taken a step back and taken a few 'get the feel for it' swings with his new toy...needless to say he was going to test it over and over and probably get himself into a lot of trouble with a certain wood elf over his extensive means to get information. He chuckled, taking a moment to just look over and sdmire the blade before looking back to Malik with another chuckle. "You certinaly are one to learn tastes quickly...or are you just taking lucky guesses like someone else I know does? Thank you."
Hm...cat's didn't like water...maybe she could 'accidently' spill the dirty water on his feet....nah. Then he'd just track wet soggy dirty feet around the place and just make more of a mess. Oh well...she'd had to wait, it wasn't her place to complain over it.

"Well...um...I didn't want to you know...come off like I pressuring you for anything. and things been a little busy here. and like I said..was I concerned that I would land in the front yard and have a kobold and lord knows what else trying to eat me."
But a slight grin, picking up the little girl and motioning to whirlwind.
"Piper, I blieve is upstairs helping her parents pack from thier trip home. we can take you to her unless you want to wait here. and our little friend can fetch her, or I can whichever you prefer."
"I do learn tastes rather quickly. and yes, we're even."
A grin at them both, before a glance to Piper with a slight chuckle.
"Aw, does that mean your the one gettign cold feet this time about that particular event?"

She shrugged. There was really no use arguing the point, a there wasn't much of one one either side. Easily enough, she could have stopped people from attacking, or gotten over her presumptions. She looked at the little girl, whom she wasn't cetain wanted to be picked up.
"I will go to them. No need to drag them here to see me." She mtioned for Onyx to show the way.

Piper gave a little smirk and set her hands to her hips, anglign her eyes to Malik but not fully looking at him. A particular gesture of hers that was that mock anger thing. "Cold feet, with you, never." Then a snicker. "Perhaps a fire needs to be lit under yours to get you in gear for it." She would just pick at him right back. Though a chuckle from both her parents drew her from her posture with a smile between them and Malik from her.
Kieran sobered himself. "Well, we were planning on leaving tomorrow morning. Would you like us to wake you both in the morning or would you prefer we say our goodbyes tonight?" Why the question? Because they either wore each other out and liked to sleep late...or they just liked to sleep late...and Kieran was always overly polite when he wasn't being overly blunt.
Oh great, now it was holding her. Scrambling for a moment as he lifted her she grabbed her bucket of sloshing contents and held onto it. She wasn't about to leave a mess around the place. But other than that she settled and let Onyx hold her as he pleased. Well this was something new now wasn't it?

Malik smirked.
"I have been prepared for a bit of time since your mother and I had a little conversation. however, as for wether waking us in the morning or saying goodbyes now..that's up to Piper."
A grin at her.
"would you prefer now, or later after they wake you frma worn out and semi concious state?"
Onyx nodded, though at her hand gesture...took her hand and led her upstairs, following his nose more than anything and kicking the door lightly with his feet.
"Piper...you have a visitor."

One of those blinks at him. "Oh really now? And you don't care to inform me? How rude Mr. D'Vinn." Then another quick series of blinks as he went about placing decision making on her shoulders. Well...knowing them, and knowing her parents the decision wasn't so hard. "Perhaps tonight is the best...seeing as we should all be fully coherent for something such as goodbyes." Then her look went to the door at the knocking. "Seems I'm popular today..." Goodbyes would have to wait a few minutes more...not that she minded. But she knew the voice. "Come on in Onyx...and whoever it is."
One hand held to her bucket the other slapped her forehead. Didn't he know that you knocked then waited for an answer and then talk? Not knock and talk all at the same time. Then again she was still in that speechless state since she was still being held. It was a little odd since she never remembered being held...well not like this anyway...usually when you were held in this place it was under an ogre's arm and none too gently.

Aella entered with Onyx and the child, she bowed to Piper. "I appologize for bothering you, Piper, Mailk. But Tarathiel has asked me to come here for a few reasons. I hope I am notn interupting anything? I can wait, if you wish."

Elvish goodbyes were never short and sweet...they just weren't. Which meant you took care of the things you hypothesized would go faster. In this case it would be talking to Aella...and she didn't want to rush her parents. "No, you managed to catch us at a moment between things. So then...what has Tarathiel to say?"

"Alliences have been made between Honoursfield, Deep Water, the pirate drow Naga of the Dark Saraphim, the evlen sailors, and we of the keep. I have been asked to remind Malik in his involvment of this as well."
"We of the Keep may or may not be relocating shortly. The Oracle will send me later with coordinates at to where to find her, as she feels it important you are able to reach her if needed."

Piper stared for a second. "Alright even though that really means absolutely nothign to me seeing as I'm mostly out of the loop on this whole war I'm sure he," jerk of her tumb at Malik, "gets it all." Then a sigh and a shake of her head. "But moving eh? Do try to get your new location to us soon as you can...I still have a debt to repay to Meilikki and I've been idle to it far to long I believe."

Aella, her message delievered, relaxed a little bit. "It's begining to be wide spread, and it may be a chance to actually unite Labyrinth under a comon enemy." She scratched t the back of her neck. "We won't be in the act of actually moving for some time i'd expect. Taratheil wants to build Meilikki a castle, for protection. Unless he uses some magic that I have not heard of, it will most likely take some time."
"The Oracle understands that certain events, such as this war, might hold things back a bit. Since her capture, her visions haven't been the same. She said you may need to be patient with her as well, as she needs to make certain on her predicitons."

She crossed her arms lightly. "Knowing Tarathiel I'm sure he has a way to snap his fingers and make a castle pop up." Okay...so her opinion of Tarathiel wasn't too well...then again Tarathiel creeped her out a little so it was perefectly acceptable for her to be a little short worded about him. "Well I just hope we aren't as deep in trouble as we all appear to be. And I plan by Meilikki's word. I'm the one that owed the debt thus she gives the commands. Whether I am impatient or not."

She shrugged, not really understanding the hostile tone in regards to Tarathiel. "He might at that."
You'd be surprised how much she dislikes being taken on her word, even when it is so imperative that people do."
"Roarke has allowed his champion to bring along a companion on his mission, it is only fair then that you are allowed the same opportunity." She smiled. "Just to let you know."
