"i........no" he said as he he saw fate, crying over his grave. "f..fate....." he muttered, he was positive she couldn't hear him but he had to at least try.

Fate's eyes narrowed. "Wh..who's there?," she choked. Her hood slipped back down onto her shoulders, and her hair became drenched. "What do you want?," she hissed.

mortis' eyes widened when he found out she heard him. "fate??.....can you hear me??" he asked curiously. he knew she was psycic but he didn't know she was clairevoyant too.

Fate gasped. Unfortunately, since Angel wasn't addressing her, she couldn't hear her. "Mortis..Is it you?" She wept harder. "Is (Angel, Sabrina) with you?" Fate shivered, standing. "Mortis..why?"

mortis took angel's advice and focused all his energies into being seen, yet intangible. finally he felt like he was translucent enough. "fate....i..am so sorry....i...it was unexpected...i wish i could've said goodbye sooner" he said solemnly.

Just use the key..Fate's eyes churned in pain. She couldn't handle it. "Oh Mortis.." She sniffed, her head hung low. "..I suppose I understand." If Fate had a heart, it'd be in a trillion and one pieces by now..This, the most torn part of her life. "This is just way too much to handle..right now.." She sat once again, knowing there was nothing she could do for herself. Why stand? ((Can she see him or not?)) ..Cause he's alive.

Fate couldn't even bare to look at his spirit. She just wanted to embrace him one last time. "I can't promise you..anything.." Fate swallowed hard. She just wanted to die right there. Be burried in the ground and never come back. Any method would suffice.. "But thank you..none the less.." Rain dripped from her slowly as it finally came to a slow. This was the perfect novel setting. "Mortis, I'm alone..All alone.." She looked up, the sight of him killing her more. Her eyes expressed everything she couldn't put into words. Fate just wasn't that sentimental type of person, after all.

Fate was hardly phased when Angel spoke, but responsive all the same. "The only difference is, that's my life.." She grinned falsely.

mortis focused every last ounce of his spiritual energy and temporarily became tangible, able to touch, to feel, the be seen as he once was, actually now he looked at he did when he first came to new york . "fate...." he said as simply as possible as he embraced her with all he had. "it's ok fate.....i'll be back....i promise" he said as he hugged her tightly.
((and yes fate, i am hugging you and you can feel it. and i look like my vampiric self))
