Kawi just continued to sob as she turned and grasped yugi's shirt burrying her face into his chest.Her body was trembling.
Kat smiled and smiled on her flip flopd "Do you have anything to wear on your feet?"

"Shh..." Yugi wasn't sure what to say next. He was wanting to also see where his yami had gone, but staying with Kawi seemed more important at the time. Ryou shook his head. "I had been in the hospital when he took me. Punctured lung. All I had been wearing was one of those hospital gowns, I think."

Kawi burried her face into his chest more slowly calming down.
"hmm" kat said and serched threw her footwear.She then handed him a pair of blue flip flops "here"

"Better?" Yugi asked, a cocerned expression on his face. He didn't bother to hide his worry.
Ryou glanced at the flipflops before accepting them, nodding in his thanks. He slipped them on, sweeping his hair from his face, glad to see that it wasn't wet anymore.

Kat smiled and grabed her bag "Ok letsgo" she said opening the door.

Ryou stepped outside and shuddered, though it wasn't a cold day outside. He felt so odd, and part of him wondered why he was so relaxed with this all. He had the chance to run away, but nothing compelled him to do so. He moved a little closer to Kat, his arm brushing against hers. Yugi bowed his head, his arms wrapped around Kawi, and allowed himself to try to think things out. Ember wasn't very good, she was in a coma. Atem was probably going to go after Marik for that, and was hurting from that blow to both his emotions and pride. Ryou had been taken off by Marik, and Yugi had no idea where his friend would be. Malik and Ishizu were in a crash, but they were both fine at the moment. Kira was acting a little odd, but Yugi couldn't place his finger on what was wrong. Kawi was emotionally hurting, and he was doing his best to comfort her. As for Vadin? He could care less.

Ka smiled as she took a deep breath of fresh air "Its so nice to be outside..I dont get out that much."
Kawi soon wraped her arms around yugi hugging him close.She felther stomach was in a knot.

Ryou nodded his head and walked along in silence, then asked, "Do you like being with Marik? I've seen his mind-slaves before, but you're not brain-dead like they are. He could just get anybody to clean and all, so are you different or something?"

"Well..I not sure myself..I dont know why I stick around..I've had so many chances to run but I know he would end up finding me...Im not sure If I like it or not..I guess I've just gotten used to it.."

"Hmm." Ryou fell into a silence, lowering his head. He knew that he was asking way too many questions, and instead pondered some matters silently. Was Kat the only other person, besides himself, to be Marik's slave, but still have a semi-free will of their own? And if there were others, how long did they last? Could he expect to live to see Kira or Yugi or even his own yami again?

Soon they got the the mall and kat looked to ryou "were do you go to get your clothes?" she asked.

Ryou followed her into the store and flipped through a few clothes. "You'll be punished if something happened to me, right?" He asked after a little while, glancing over at Kat. He had heard Marik threatening her from before. "Even if I do it to myself?" He was on the verge of making up his mind about killing himself, but didn't want Kat to be hurt or anything.
