Oomizu shrugged lightly to the question. "You'd be surprised what some people will do out of love." She then went to tell a story she had heard on the news, but she said it in one of those ways that could scar many people, especailly the young and innocent. So much so that that is why I'm not typing what it is she said. Just note she was saying this completely seriosly before she went back to eating calmly.
Gakupo grinned before he leaned back in his chair to grin at Meiko. "See~! Not every one thinks eggplants are disgusting!" It made him happy that he had found at least two others that liked eggplants. No one else in his world would even touch it unless they were desperate for food, and they'd b***h and moan the enttire time they ate it.
Meiko leaned back so shye could see Gakupo better before she rolled her eyes with a smirk. "Yeah yeah yeah. So you go, what, two people that likes your nasty purple junk. Everyone else likes sake though!" She raised her glass and downed it before she sat up again.
Luka stopped in her tracks. It wasn't so much that she hated having them around... Sure, she acted like she couldn't stand them, but they were still family. This was her way of looking out for them, even if they couldn't tell. She was silent for a moment before she finally said, "If you tell any one I said this, I'll deny it." She turned around so she was facing Toph, a slightly concerned look on her face. "It is not so much that I do not enjoy their company... It is more like I am worried for them and hope that if I am mean enough towards them then they will leave to go home... They're naiive and likly to get hurt, or worse... Plus, what if they get attached while they're here? They'd still have to go home to our world and leave behind anything they've grown to love..." All in all, she was looking out for them.
Scout pouted some when he was fussed at. He childishly pointed a finger at Heavy with a light whine to his voice. "But he started it!" If they were a family, Medic would be Mom and Heavy would be that perverted older brother that was always trying to get you in trouble.

Maverick looked over to Oomizu "Hey love, well wanna head off and rest. " he told her "I wonder how everything is back at the city however"

Hotstreak was about to reply, when he was interrupted by one of his servants. Apparently there was an urgent call from someone in the FoQ, but it was said quietly so most wouldn't hear. "I know it's bad form for the host to leave the dinner table before everyone else, but something's come up that needs my attention. Excuse me." He then gave Hitomi a look like she should probably follow, and got up and left.
Jack was suspicious about this, but let them go. He'd go bother them later about finishing their negotiations.
Medic raised an eyebrow. "You ah really going to behave like a child about zhis? Really, Scout, you keep telling us how grown up you ah..."
Spy grinned to himself, listening to Scout and Medic. A food fight, huh...?

Oomizu finished neating and pushed her plate a little in front of her so it'd be out of the way. She watched Hotstreak, wondering what was so important... She focussed back to Maverick. "I'm sure the ctiy's fine. They lasted during the couple of monthes while we were healed."
Scout leaned back in his chair and crossed his arms in annoyance. Why did he always get the blame? It's because Heavy is all buddy-buddy with Medic. That's gotta be why he didn't yell at Heavy that harshly earlier.

"Bye everyone! I hope you all return to your rooms safe and sound and you all have a wonderful night's sleep. Thank you again for staying. I miss you all dearly." Hitomi told the table with a smile, standing up to take her leave along with Hotstreak. With a gently chuckle, she placed her hand in front of her lips coyly before she left as well. Making sure they were well out of earshot, she looked over to her boyfriend. "What the hell is going on?" She whispered heatedly.
Faya giggled lightly. "They are almost better than gruggleberries. Actually a bit sweeter. But still, almost better." She exclaimed as she bit into another eggplant, grinning happily.
"Well, that's true. But sorry, I must leave." Tomoe said as she eyed the elder blond for a moment before she got up and left the way her mate before her did. As she rounded the corner, she sighed to herself, placing a hand on her head. "Damn, migraines..."
Bunko nodded to her mate slowly. "Hopefully, but well, if not then... that will just be a horrible thought to think about." She told him with a sigh. "And yes, they are both family now. Our family." She said with a smile.
Toph nodded the entire time, continuing to have her hands loosely on her hips as she listened to Luka's explanation. "Oh, well, I can totally understand that." She replied before a certain phrase caught her attention. "Wait, why can't ya'll fall in love 'n stuff?"

Alexander noted Tomoe holding her head "Hey is something wrong Tomoe?" he asked her
Lord Inu smiled and nodded "Its amazing just how fast a demon's family grows in such a short time" he said as he held her hand "Come along love, we will confront them about the tape tomorrow for now let us rest"
Maverick nodded "Yea your right. But still... well i guess its just my defensive nature" he smiled

"Just a headache from that conversation with Oomizu. Nothin' bad." Tomoe told him with a sigh. "I want Kratos..." She whined lightly as she stared up at him, eyes glossy with future tears. "I want my brother.."
"Yes, it really is. Maybe one day, it could get even bigger." Bunko replied with an almost seductive wink. She grasped his hand with a smile before she stood up, nodding profusely. "Okay, yes, I'd like a good night's sleep."

Mattie lay on his bed, hugging the sleeping bear close to his chest. Frowning slightly, he wiped his eyes and let himself fall asleep.
Arthur had excused himself earlier. The headphones on his head had been working nicely, but he felt he should probably give them back to Luka the next time he saw her. But in the meantime, he allowed his ears to be free and let them fall out of the pinned back position. Carrying the headset in his free hands as he headed towards his room.

Medic shook his head. Scout didn't have to pout about it, but at least he was listening.
"Go ahead and give my thoughts a quick read," Hotstreak replied. "We dunno if the group has anything else listening in on us. Jack could have some little spy bug set up."

Hitomi blinked upwards at Hotstreak before nodding, and doing as she was told. "Oh, right." She said with a light chuckle before she lifted a hand and touched his temple. With the glow from her pendant, she read everything that was going through his mind at that moment. After a few more seconds, she opened her eyes to stare up at him with a sigh. "Really? Right now Hotstreak? They told us that they wouldn't come here until tomorrow morning. This is gettin' ridiculous..."

Alexander looked deep into those sweet sad eyes that Tomoe was giving him "Oh Tomoe! im sure we can find him! come on dont cry lets go look for him ok"he said taking her hand gently
Lord Inu had a light shade of red cross his face as she said that he smiled "Ok bunko lets go rest up. Tomorrow we go home right?"

Oomizu smiled and kissed Maverick's cheek lightly. "Don't worry too much about it, love. We'll be going home tomorrow, so don't let it bother you too much." Although, truth be told, she was eager to leave, too. She really wanted to go and see if she could find Joseph.
Gakupo smiled and nodded. He was happy she liked them so much. Hey, maybe now that there were more people that liked eggplants, he'd start cooking again. He used to do so back in his world, but no one ever seems to be able to stomach the others' favorite food for long. He picked up his napkin and wiped her cheek a little. "You had a little cheese on your face from the eggplant."
Luka looked to Toph. "We're computer programs, Toph. Many people depend on us to make them happy, so we have to go back to our world eventually, and I don't think we could take any one with us... At least, not unless they don't midn the thought of always being controlled by others or being watched." She gave a light shrug and paused for a moment before she continued on. "We can handle that sort of thing because we were programmed and brought into our world with that acceptance. I don't know how many others could handle the thought is all." She went to adjust the headphones, only to remember once more that she didn't have them. Well, what ever. If the others did fall in love, it was their choice so long as they remembered they needed to go home. She, on the other hand, was going to try her best not to let any crushes get the better of her.
Scout wasn't all that hungry any more. He stood up and stretched lightly. He was still tired, so maybe another nap wouldn't hurt. "I'm goin' ta bed. See ya later maybe." He gave a half-assed wave to Medic and Heavy before he turned and walked towards his room.

Maverick smiled. "Ok Oomizu. i cant wait to be back home, in our own home and in our own bed " he said as he kissed her lips softly "come on lets go rest"

"He's not here. He felt in the portal awhile ago. I can't sense him anymore." Tomoe told him with a light whimper. Taking his hand into her own, she squeezed it tightly, letting out a shaky breath. "I just don't know why."
Toph nodded to Luka, crossing her hands over her chest now. "Yeah, being compared to perfect computer programs, the average person over here might get the worst of it. Well the critiquing and such." She mused as she looked up to her friend. "But don't worry, I'll always be here for you." She smiled lightly as she lifted one hand to touch her shoulder lightly.
"Um, I have no idea. Our mission has yet to be completed, I think. But now that we have Hitomi and Hotstreak on our side, we could be able to use them to our advantage." She told him, not meaning to sound a bit deceptive. It was just her word choice, mainly.
Faya blinked at him, a bit confused as to his quick motion towards her face. "Oh, well, um... thank you." She told him with a smile, sweatdropping lightly at the fact that he was doing this to her. She blushed gently, but mainly out of embarrassment at herself for thinking that he was going to do something else to her.
