Maria finished her tea, gazing solemnly at Marcie as she stirred about in her worry. She said nothing, though Maria could easilly tell that her friend was plagued by terrible thoughts.
"Mmkay." she then murmured, only barely feeling the Sandman's faint tugging on her eyelids. "Please, though, will you take me to Nobody in the morning if it won't be a hindrance? I promise I'll stay out of the way!" she then pleaded quietly, ignoring how clingy and worrisome she seemed to herself.

Marcie nodded her agreement, she was glad that someone truly cared for Nobody, it was quiet refreshing knowing someone beside her looked at him as something more than just the 'white queen/king', she smiled gently and got to her feet "We don't have many empty rooms at the moment so you'll sleep on my room, i will take the bed on what used to be Matt's room" she said casually, it would be better for her as well if she was to go out later to have at least a bit of sleep.
Nobody smiled humorlessly, a bored look on is eyes, he knew that the suits had done a pretty good 'clean up' of the minds of many of it's recruits, he didn't expect the same reaction from the Hatter though "If you are going to the battle field with such poor mentality you might just as well surrender to the enemy" he said looking up at victor "I can understand that you be willed to give your life for the resistance, even that you are prepared to do so but please bear in mind you are more useful alive than as a corpse, i am also flattered that you trust me but do not allow that trust to blind you, my plan covers only the information any normal person could gain through the right channels, who knows what the jacks might be hiding" he said remembering that until recently the jabberwocky had been locked away and most people, including himself, knew nothing about it and also the passages he wouldn't have learnt about if it wasn't for Amy "and one more thing..." he said, his bored look turning serious "We might be killing not only the suits in tonight's incidents, if anyone has a problem with that, i anyone's conscience will be unable to bear with knowing we are placing the life of innocent people in peril..." nobody looked at each of the presents by turn before continuing "This is your last chance to back up, I only need two people for the plan to be successful" he said knowing that he counted with those two people at least, knowing that Caterpillar and Amy would definitely not back up, they knew their only options where to bring down the suits or die, no middles or living in hiding would work for them.

(( Well, it can't say I lost a bet lol. She just decided to change my Gaia up since she didn't like the way it looked lmao. I don't really care if I look like a girl as of right now. Thou it's not staying on forever. lol))
As the two men, Hatter and Victor talked among themselves. Ven was looking around not paying attention to the two men talking. As he looked around, a tiny little butterfly came down and landed on a leaf next to Ven. Ven walked towards the butterfly but not to far away from Victors side to here the conversation. He led out his finger and the butterfly crawled onto it. Ven lifted his finger and looked at it with a sad little look on his face. " You know...you don't have it so bad. You get to fly around, not have to much worry in the world. No suits to kill your family. No one to hurt you. You can go anywhere you want." The butterfly looked right at Ven; standing still slowly moving his wings to let the blood flow threw. "Now, go and find freedom to call home." Ven moved his arm towards the sky and the butterfly flied away towards the sky. Then Ven herd Hatter talking asking Victor for a Knife. Ven walked back with a curios look on his face. "I don't mean to interrupt, but what exactly do you need a Knife for?"

Matt looked at him, "I was going to do a blood oath..." He looked at the three men in front of him. "I realize this is basically a suicide mission..." He chose his words carefully, pausing. "But the slight chance of making it out alive gives me hope that this uprising will be...successful..."
Henry walked up and put a fatherly hand on the lad. "If I may be so bold, gentlemen....May I have a few words?" he asked, quiet. He felt that now, standing her, Matt had become...a second son. He wasn't able to deal with him dieing also. He had people who loved him, and needed his protection.

(sorry for not being able to post yesterday ^^" I was at a b-day party for my nine-year old buddy blaugh I'm just really closer to kids than people my own age XD No no no, I am not a pdopile...just to clear things up XD

Amy nodded at Nobody's truthful words; she won't back down now. After going this far to be free, she won't step down just because innocent lives might be at stake.
I have lost everyone, including my own sister...I have nothing...so I don't fear losing anything anymore.She took a deep breath as a fresh memory came upon her.
A small figure of a five-year old child staggered in the room, bandages covering her forehead as her teary hazels rested on the older girl in front of her.
"A-Amy....it...hurts..." the girl whined, running into the older girl's arms.
"I...know...but we'll get out of here soon, okay?" the older cooed, holding her younger sister closer, rubbing her back comfortingly.
"I...don't want to be injected with anything anymore...please...please tell me you've found the way out." the younger sniffled, holding on to her sister for dear sanity.
"I'm looking, Beatrice...I won't let them test you anymore." she whispered, trying her best to soothe her crying sister.
The tender moment was broken by a man in a suit barging into the room and forcibly dragging Beatrice away.
And that's when it kicked into Amy's system.
All the tests the suits did provided excellent results.
Amy blacked out.
"A-Amy...y-you...k-"
"Shh, Beatrice...don't say it..."
"W-who are you?! A-Amy would n-never d-do this...."
"It's needed, little one...and Amy's sleeping right now...call me...Ten." the older girl smiled, wiping the crimson stains on her face with her sleeve.
"T-Ten...?"
Ten nodded, pointing to her inked neck, bearing the mark of being a mere testing subject.
"Go, Beatrice and don't ever talk to me again. Maybe if you see me someday, I'll be back to normal..." Ten smiled. For the first time.
Beatrice nodded and ran out the laboratory hallways and into the dark night.
I'm tired of running...it's just do or die right now...

((Oh, it's not that I didn't like Zack's avatar. I just thought I could do something better with it. I ended up finding those girl starter clothes in his inventory and a bunch of other stuff and went crazy while he wasn't looking. Still, I made him lose his fight in FF13 so many times. sweatdrop ))
Victor considered Nobody's words. Indeed, he was better living than dead, especially considering his position. Still, he was the leader of a group fighting against the Suits. He was bound to die sooner or later and had just evaded death three times. He had used up three chances and knew that he wouldn't be given a fourth chance.
The Ace of Hearts smirked mischievously. "You already know you can count me in, Your Majesty," he said almost playfully, "If you wish, we can take Amy with us. Ven can go alongside Hatter and Walrus."
The Ace sighed discretely, sliding his glasses up the bridge of his nose. "I am fully aware that innocent lives are going to be put on the line for this plan and fully accept it. Sacrifices are going to be have to made to attain our goal of bringing the Suits down."

Nobody looked Caterpillar and Amy with a small smile, he knew he could at least count them in, he was not sure about the Hatter, specially with him thinking this was a suicide mission, if anything it was the most secure mission they had had, they where not to fight the suits in even grounds, they had the night on their side and even though it bared the dangers of any mission it was not really a frontal encounter.
He then looked at the distracted figure of the man called Ven and after hearing the Walrus' words he sighed "You Know Mr. Ven, the question was also intended for you" he said placing his hands on his hips and hopping the guy had at least played attention to the plan "And yes, walrus, you might speak but please make it quick" he said taking mental note of the way caterpillar was making the groups, it was only normal that he would team up them like that because of their capabilities, and that he might think that being a kid the king needed more protection but he would need to remind caterpillar that it was to be 3 teams and that neither Ven, the Hatter nor the Walrus had information about the scape routes the way Amy, Caterpillar and him had.

Maria smiled weakly. "Thank you, I appreciate all that you're doing for me. I sincerely wish I had the means to repay you." she said softly, relief once more washing over her being when Marcie had agreed to her pleas.

Marcie smiled but didn't look back "Don't worry about that" she said leading the way upstairs "Well, maybe you could give me a tart" she said after opening the door of her room for maria "Or a royal guaranty for my clothes" she said playing a bit, trying to lighten the heavy atmosphere they had been prey of a moment ago.

Maria chuckled a bit as she replied, "Perhaps I shall." The queen sat herself on the bed, taking a deep breath to help calm herself as well.

"Then I guess you don't care that your sister has fled the castle for her own selfish purposes! Maria was even so bold as to leave you all a note! But I guess I'll SHRED it since you are so clearly uninterested in her well-being!" Ten truly hoped that she would be able to use Jack's strange over-protectiveness of his sister to get him to hault. "I even heard that she skipped her duties to go see a BOY!" Of course, she was by now in the forest as well.

((aww~ sorry about the block anime, on another subject, Patches, the jabberwocky, the suits, the resistance, even Jack of diamonds, sure no problem, bring it on, a jealous brother? now my kid is scared XD))
Marcie’s room was a mess of colors, fabrics and mystical objects but she did not have the time nor the patience to put an end to her chaos, anytime she would find something pretty she would just stuff it here, that is how her ancient desk came to be covered with a bunch of useless crow feathers, a rubix cube, many precious stones, pieces of shattered glass, pins and needles, perfume bottles, scrolls, a Mac notebook, and many other seemingly useless objects. The rest of her room was no better; the scattered pieces of unfinished clothing covered part of the red carpet and from the ceiling hanged endless multicolored orbs, on the brown stone walls there where no chandeliers but they where stuffed with designs, sketches and paintings, and even though they had electricity the only source of light was a big Three-foiled cusped arch window with stained glass on each foil and lancet arch styled windows below. in this room however, beneath every corner there lied a protective charm, but even that would not save her life if there was problems, that's why she always kept her size-shifting sword close.
Marcie smiled at the figure of the daring princess sited on her circular bed in the middle of her room, the wooden floor hadn't make the slightest sound nor did the midnight blue mattress under the tiny weight of her highness, as if the room was used to maria on the same way it was used to Marcie "Have good night your highness" she whispered before walking out of the door.
As Marcie walked in to the second room, the one that used to belong to Matt, she allowed the tiredness of looking for ashle the whole afternoon to set in, she placed her head to the pillow and in came a familiar smell...something sweet and clean, ah yes, just then she remembered the last person to sleep there had been Raven, Marcie hugged the pillow tightly, bringing it closer to her face, the scent was so very faint, it was from many days ago after all, but somehow it didn't allowed her to sleep so she rolled up and looked at the ceiling, surrounded by the smell of her lover, just where could he be at the moment?

Maria allowed herself to lay down after Marcie left, her smile fading as she stared at the ceiling. She was also unable to sleep, but for a different reason. She was remembering the last kiss she shared with Nobody, the tips of her fingers now tracing her lips as she wondered if they would get to share one again.
Maria knew something important was about to happen, something that may change her life completely. However, she wasn't yet sure if it would be for the better or for the worst...
