Shadow walked deep into the forest. He admired the scenary. The taint of Marquis' hoard had been lifted but there was something else in the air. The trees themselfs seemed uncomfortable at a presance that Shadow could not see at the time. Shadow scaned the area for what ever it could be that was causing this very unatural discomfort to nature its self. After a few moments a rift formed between the realms and an armour clad being walked out of it. The rift quickly closed behind the being. Shadow examined the being. It was enclosed in armour, only its glowing eyes could be seen through its helmet. The armour seemed to be alive. There were faces on the chest and shin gaurds that let out chakling laughter. Eyes were scattered over the armour that blinked and looked around scanning the area and informing the wearer of what they saw. "I know that armour and I know who you represent." Shadow said aloud. The being looked at him and lifted its sheild in a defensive manner and drew its sword, prepairing itself for what it thought was comming. Shadow felt as if it wasn't going to attack him but way aiming for something else. He looked around to where the being had turned and drew his own sword in preperation for what would be comming.

A disgusting being crept out from behind a tree. The stench from it was overwhelming. This bloated and disease ridden being looked as if it was once human, boils covered it's body along with many other soars. It dragged a sword along the ground that reaked of poisons. Shadow covered his nose for a moment before the other being noticed them. 'A deamon of Nurgule and a champion of Tzeentch here, now. What the hell is going on. Why have they returned.' Shadow thought as he raised his gaurd. The daemon of Nurgule let out a horrid cry as it moved slowly towards Shadow and the Tzeentchen champion. The Champion let out it's own warped cry and charged the Nurgule daemon. Their blades clashed as they swung at one another. Shadow just watched from the side lines. Neither was intrested in him but he was intrested in them. Why where they comming back here? What could have possibly awoken these daemons from their eternal sleep? What could have woken their gods from their sleep? Shadow didn't want to think what would happend if these daemonic gods decided to set aside their differances and raise an army to come to this world. It would be catastrophic. Where they just going to using this world as their battle ground? was that what Jin was talkign about when he said a battle of the gods... no it can't be. These are differant beings altogether. Shadow watched the battle unfold as elaborate blows and spells where throughn around.

The Tzeentchen champion gained the upper hand and struck down the Nurgule daemon. Its putrid blood spilled all over the ground, releasing a horrid smel into the air. Shadoow coughed violently at the smell in the air. The Tzeenchen champion walked over to Shadow, after cleaning and sheathing his sword he spoke in a deep echoing voice. "They events ocuring on this world have awoken my master and his enemies. An opertunity has risen for the gods to gain a foot hold in this realm. Let us see if you can silence us once again when you are caught up with your own problems." he said as he walked away. He wasn't sent here to kill Shadow or anyone else other than that Nurgule daemon. Even then Shadow found it strange that he was leaving without trying to kill him. The rift between the realms opened up once more and the champion walked back inside it, the rift closed behind him. Shadow turned away and looked to the corpse of the daemon. "********." was all he coudl say as he ran back into the mansion. He ran into the dinning room and then to the kitchen. He drank several glasses of blood to try and calm himself down. After lighting a cig he walked with another glass of blood into the dinnign room and sat in his chair. He started to think about how everything would have to be changed in order account for this new threat that was comming, if the 4 gods ever stopped fighting amoungst themselfs.

Alice smiled at him softly as she slowly walked over to the pool. She smiled softly as she stopped next to a chair that had a towel sitting on it. After a few seconds she slowly slipped off her dress, revealing her bathing suit. Her face turned slightly red as she slowly walked over to the diving board. She was kind of emberassed to be having Ryuuzaki watching her. She sighed softly as she watched to the edge of the diving board before diving into the pool.

Shadow finished his cig and his drink. He needed to calm down so he thought he would go for a little swim and try to relax. He stoon and walked out of the dinning room and headed towards the pool. Everything he had just witnessed didn't bode well with him. He reached the pool only to see Alice already in there. 'Looks like I have company' he thought as he removed his cloak, shirt and shoes. He didn't feel like properly changing for the swim. His trousers where good enough to relax in. Shadow dove into the pool after emptying his pockets. The water felt nice against his skin.

Alice slowly looked over in the direction of the splash had come from to see Shadow in the water. She gasped slightly, water going into her mouth. She then quickly surfaced and started to cough. She had actually swallowed some of the water, and was trying to not swallow any more. "God....he scared me...." she said softly as she as she looked over in his direction.

Shadow came to the surface. "Hello there Alice. Hope I didn't scare you to much." he said as he swam to the edge of the pool. The water was relaxing, eh could feel the stress that had built up from his encounted wash away along with the smell he thought he had gained from being in close proximity to the Nurgule daemon.

Abel laughed lightly. "I haven't mated or married yet. I'm waiting for the right person to come along." he said his laugher ringing out like a bell. Marriage seemed kind of weird to talk about but then again, a severed head made the subject so much more easier to talk about. He smiled again looking back to Vickilyn.

Alice looked over at him and shook her head. "No.....I was just surprised a little." she said softly with a smile. She then swam over to the edge near him. "So how have you been?..........I kind of heard about what happened......." she said softly wondering if he maybe wanted to talk about it or something.

"Good, I think I have scared you enough for one life time." he said with a small laugh as she swam over. Shadow couldn't pin down what event she was refering to. Was it his transformation, the loss of his wife and daughter or coudl she have over heard what happened in the forest. he was completely confused since so much had gone wrong. "I have been... ok but not much more." he paused. "What event are you refering to? So much has happened to me that it is hard to keep track of who knows what." he said calmly.

Alice looked at him as she turned in the water. She then jumped up and sat on the edge of the pool. "I mean what happened between your wife, you, and Cassidy........" she asked softly. She had actually heard a few of the servant talking about it so that how she know. "I feel sorry for your wife but......Why stay in a loveless marriage, when you obviously love another women...." she said softly not really asking a question. She slowly looked up at the sky, swinging her legs back and forth slightly.

"Owe right... that." he said as eh thought about it. "That is a tricky subject. You see a little while ago I turned Cassidy. The events surounding her turning are off limits but I turned her. After that she ran off and I didn't know why at the time. I was along and eventualy found my now ex wife. I thought I loved her but I think I was just looking for something to fill the gap. If I had know Cassidy would return I would never have maried." he said wondering if she had heard of the events that had happened after the argument between him and his wife. When he went on a little rampage.

Alice looked down at him the pulled her feel up on the edge of the pool, her knees to her chest. "I see.......Well I hope you two will be happy now!" she said softly as she wrapped her arms around her legs, placing her head on her knees, facing him. She smiled softly at him as she sat there. "So.....how have you been other then that?..." she asked softly still with a smile.

Shadow looked up to Alice. "We will eb happy, I'm happier than I have been in a while excluding some current events." he said as he kicked to keep himself afloat. "Other than that I have not been to bad. I haven't taken a form shift in a while and me and Cassidy have been getting along just great. Did you hear of the battle that took place a few nights ago?" he said.
