Satoshi hesitated glancing over at Itaka's sword "You would have a challenge getting that sword off him. He's really good with it though don't let him know I told you that or it might boost his ego too much" she whispered watching Gilgamesh attack Barbaros. "Ok point taken. That sword is useless"
Hayate nodded at Jenna using his left hand to gesture to the ranged soldiers and white mages to go back up into the trees "We're ready to go and from what I can see this area has no traps set up" he told her before turning around and commanding the rest of the soldiers to charge.
Shizuka laughed ruffling Zadina's hair "Ok ok I believe you when you say it's not a crush. But still if Amane isn't your type of viera I'm sure one of her lovely friends will be" she told him then turned back to Mari. "That was a little harsh on the guys don't you think? Our commander isn't that bad to look at for one and neither is Oassu, shame they are both taken but I guess thats my queue to go"
Felina sighed pushing herself and Oassu out the way so other elves could rush past her. "Your right but I'll leave you to go forward while I take casre of Zadina" she told him pushing her way back towards her cousin "Sorry guys but I am going to have to break this up" she apologised picking up Zadina and taking him into the tree.

Gilgamesh nodded drawind his other swords "Agreed but sometimes blunt weapons are better against certain foes and I think it must have some connection to the real Excalibur so I keep it on me but I don't need Itaka's sword anyway" he said patting Gilgamesh "Lets go then Satoshi" he said grabbing onto Enkidu's collar as the fiend rocketed away towards the battlefront.
Itaka nodded "I suppose so, but if I see that the king is s**tfaced I'm not holding back" he said picking up his sword and sprinting along with the elves.
Zadina cried out a little as Felina yanked him away from the others and into the trees "Hi Felina again!" he chirped "This is going to be so much easier than the last time" he giggled peeking out of the trees at the battle "Could do with getting closer though" he frowned.
Mari giggled waving goodbye to Zadina before patting Shizuka on the shoulder "Good luck friend, we'll see you at the party maybe you and Hebal can get better acquainted" she whispered the last part cheekily before sighing and drawing her sword. She turned to Hebal "If I know Viera all of Amane's friends are going to be....girls right?" she chuckled "Is Zadina gonna be a little pimp then?" she asked her.
Oassu waved to Felina "Take care Fellie" he called after her drawing his knives "So commander what do you want us to do who should we aim for?" he asked pulling himself up onto the back of Jenna's chocobo sitting behind her. A look of bliss passed across Jenna's face before she snapped out of it turning to Hayate "Anyone in particular we should take down?" she asked.
Barbaros laughed "Don't worry bout it mon, it's not even a scratch on me elbow "Besides I know that sword, he made a point of showing them all off when we first met and he did the same thing" he said running to keep up with the elves

Seph chuckled shrugging her shoulders "Heh I guess thats fair enough." she answered dashing past Itaka and a lot of the elves to be one of the first to clash swords with one of the Agralian soldiers "We'll save that discussion for later, we have ourselves some fresh meat" she grinned making light work of the soldier then moving onto the next one.
Alpha sighed leaning against a tree so that some of the faster elves could get through "If you insist your ok then fine. Still do we need to look out for anyone in particular? Charge is a very vague order and it doesn't help when you talk in a different language" he added to Hayate before following the others into the battle.
Hebal waved good bye to Zadina then to Shizuka "Good luck you three, don't get too badly hurt" she chirped tugging on Mari's arm to go forward "Yeah all her friends are girls but I don't think any of them will be too interested in a boy" she giggled.

Shizuka blushed a little but managed to recover with a quick yet clumsy bow. "Thanks. May you have good fortune and make it off the battle field safely" she told Mari and Hebal before climbing up the tree behind them. "We can all get better aquainted later not just me and Hebal she added.
Felina laughed putting Zadina on her back "Don't be silly we wouldn't be able to hit anything from all the way back here. We're going to do that first" she answered pointing to Shizuka who had already began jumping from tree to tree to get closer to the enemy before copying her actions.
Hayate hesitated increasing his speed to keep at the same pace as Jenna and Boco. "As far as I know there are no enemy commanders on this side. But watch out for anyone on horseback or wearing a slightly different coloured uniform, those tend to be the ones with a little more authority" he explained before climbing up the trunk of the nearest tree.
Satoshi nodded using 3 handsigns to form 2 shadow clones, which both teleported into the trees to cover the original ninja. "Don't worry I am going as fast as I can" she called to Gilgamesh quickly drawing her katana out to block an enemy blade. She ducked down then sliced her way through her opponant.

Itaka grinned raising his foot as he charged and clamping it into the chest of an Agralian soldier pinning him to the ground "Fresh meat eh? Better tenderize it" he sneered digging his sword into the grounded soldier's throat.
Mari nodded jumping and quickly slicing through an Agralian's helmet and the tender flesh beneath it "Yeah but remember Hebal Zadina isn't looking for a girlfriend just some kids to play with, they can show him the local games and stuff" she said.
Zadina gasped as Felina leapt "Wow Felina you must be really strong to jump so well with me on your back" he cheered hanging on.
Jenna nodded clicking her heels to Boco's flanks, the chocobo rocketed on ploughing into the enemies ranks with Jenna's lance killing many a foe on the way. "Go Oassu" she cried and Oassu leapt elegantly from Boco's back dropkicking a sergeant off of his horse to the ground where Oassu slashed at him before he got up and engaged Oassu.
Gilgamesh let go of Enkidu and spiralled into action, his swords flicking out and slicing foes like some demonic windmill before he landed on his feet. He whacked an Agralian with Excalipoor and the soldier spun several time before falling unconcious.
Barbaros jabbed his cannon into the ground and pushing a button on the side he fired a series of small shots into the air that arced onto the enemies' ranks.

Seph laughed grabbing hold of a soldier by the armor before flinging him into the nearest tree instantly knocking him out. "Tenderize it, heh more like completely butcher it with you" she teased repeating the same tactic on the next soldier then spun around to slice through another.
Hebal laughed jumping 10 feet into the air before landing spear end first onto one of the soldiers "Theres nothing to teach really. They are probably the same games you have here except that scavenger hunts are really popular" she told Mari pushing her head down so that she could extend her spear whack a soldier over the head who had been sneaking up on her.
Alpha gave Hayate a thumbs up punching a soldier in the stomach causing him to crumple to the floor before setting fire to another "Right look for potential commanders though if there aren't any this should be a breeze right" he grinned.

Felina shook her head continuing to jump across the trees until she reached the closest one to the battlefield that wasn't already occupied. I'm not that strong, it's just that your really light weight" she told Zadina gently putting him down on the branch "hope this is ok for you"
"Hey Gilgamesh, duck!" Satoshi shouted to the swordsman as one of her clones threw several shurikens past his head to take out some of the nearest soldiers. "Sorry about that" she grumbled slicing through her own opponant as the clone moved on to another area.
Hayate chuckled at Alpha as he clambered up the tree which also had a white mage sitting in "Don't hold back! We don't want these guys pushing through the temple defences" he shouted taking a cluster of arrows and setting them on fire before shooting into the sea of enemies.

Zadina nodded "This is fine Felina" he said settling himself down on the branch and opening his book allowing him to cast thundaga on the enemies.
Gilgamesh nodded "It's alright Satoshi I know you wouldn't miss" he said backhanding a foe while cutting into his throat and outfencing a fencer with Tournesol resulting in the soldier's impalement.
Oassu grappled with the sergeant pushing his arms apart before promptly nutting him in the face then kneeing him in the stomach and elbowing him in the back of the neck. The sergeant fell to the ground unconcious. "One down I think" he said grabbing the Sergeant's body and throwing a smoke bomb on the ground as the surrounding soldier's advanced finding nothing but smoke as Oassu disappeared.
Mari spread her legs sliding down to the ground thrusting her blade in between Hebal's legs swiftly penetrating the soldier behind her's stomach vigorously. "Thanks Hebal but why are scavenger hunts such a big deal?" she asked.
Itaka grinned picking up an soldier so he could slaughter his archer buddy hiding behind him before dropping the armoured soldier to the ground and crushing him "Nah I'm not that brutal when I kill, Mari killing Kyato is one of the bloodier kills I've seen, not that I don't like a bit of bloodshed" he said batting away a halberd before beheading the soldier who attacked him splattering blood on him. "Just so long as it's not my blood" he added.
Barbaros stepped into the fray wielding his cannon like a club, he crushed a soldier's skull with a horizontal swipe sending helmets and soldiers flying before flipping his cannon over his shoulder and firing his shot penetrating the ranks of soldier in a burst of flame and destruction.
Jenna charged on, her lance plunging into many a man and woman as she passed through their ranks riding Boco. Eventually she burst through the back line and glanced around realising there was no more enemies to kill. Shrugging she wheeled around and began to charge the enemies again, this time taking them from the rear.

Seph smiled kicking a soldier between the legs then finished him off in a quick slicing action as he crumpled to the floor. "I don't know about that, we all have the occasional brutal fight even if not intended" she answered wiping a little bit of blood from her face. "I'm with you on the blood thing even if it always smells" she complained.
Alpha side stepped to his right to avoid a shuriken which the Satoshi clone had thrown in his direction. "Be careful where you throw" he grumbled picking up two soldiers then swung them around before letting go and flinging them away.
Hebal shrugged "I dunno, it's just one of those games that became popular in the area. The forest is big enough to do stuff like that and maybe Zadina would enjoy it" she hastily replied moving away from Mari so that she could release a green cloud of bad breath onto a small area of ssoldiers.

Felina smiled climbing onto another branch which was directly above where her cousin was. "Ok if you're sure. Still if you need to move or anything just tell me and we'll go straight away" she reassured him lying down and taking out her bow to fire her arrows at the enemies.
Hayate sighed forming a barrier in front of himself as an Agralian arched fired a flurry of arrows towards him. He then waited for that particular archer was reloading before coming out from behind the barrier to counter the attack by firing his own arrow into the neck of the soldier.
Satoshi raised her eyebrow at Gilgamesh spitting a fireball out of her mouth at the nearest soldier "Don't be so sure. I don't mean to make you lose confidence or anything but just be aware I am not 100% accurate everytime" she warned him taking a very quick drink before repeating her previous jutsu.

Gilgamesh stepped out of the way of Enkidu who rocketed into the soldiers tearing at one's jugular while Gilgamesh followed through the assault killing the stunned swordsmen. "Don't worry about it Satoshi it'll take more than a kunai to pierce my armour anyway" he said patting Enkidu.
Zadina nodded "We're very safe up here with the barrier anyway" he said waving a hand and casting Pigaga on a squadron of enemy reinforments rushing to the scene and were turned into Pigs.
Itaka laughed "The smell of blood is alright once you get used to it" he said grabbing a soldier's head and crushing it with his iron grip "Though I think I'm starting to sound a little crazy with all this talk of blood" he said a little ashamed while slicing in a wide arc tearing gashes in the stomach's of the soldiers in front of him.
A soldier rolled his eyes Why do these people talk so much on the battlefield, its ridiculous I say he said stabbing an elf and pulling him off his sword before clashing blades with the next elf that rushed forward to meet him You'd think they'd try and concentrate a bit more, take it seriously I mean their lives are on the line here, as is the fate of the citadel the soldier frowned booting another elf in the shins before cutting his throat They're so damn carefree it really pisses me off, I just wish they'd shut the f- he thought as a lance appeared in his chest as Jenna returned to the battlefield "Lookie what I got! An Agralian Kebab!" she cheered waving the dead soldier on a stick.
Oassu appeared beside Hayate on the branch "I picked up one of those higher ranked troopers, see if you can figure anything out from him" he said jumping back down into the fray leaving the unconcious sergeant on the branch.
Mari stepped back as her blade glowed purple before unleashing a devastating slice that spread dark energy through the crowd killing several Agralians. Mari frowned as a speck of blood appeared on her wrist "Ow, thats new.." she mumbled to herself before turning to Hebal and wiping the blood away "Yeah it sounds like such a nice place for kids, and I think Zadina will enjoy anything where he gets to spend more time with kids his age, maybe they could teach him a thing or two" she said parrying another blade.
Barbaros slammed his cannon into the ground and fired creating a shockwave that sent troops on all sides of him flying. He looked nervously back at the stunned elves "Ah I knew close combat wasn't my specialty man" he sighed.

Hebal nodded kicking away some of the newly formed frogs in front of her. "Yeah I bet they could and while he goes playing we can hunt that unicorn down and you can meet all of my friends from the village along with my mummy" she chirped thrusting her spear into the back of a soldier.
Alpha smirked creating a wall of flames in front of the stunned elves so that nobody could attack them while they recovered. "If close combat isn't working for you then feel free to moce back or climb a tree or the hill or something" he recommended removing the wall once the elves were no longer stunned.
Seph sighed shaking her head at Itaka as she used her claws to tear into a chestplate before digging her sword into the damaged area of the armor to finish the soldier off. "I never get used to that smell. I don't know how Hebal does it with her nose having such a sharp sense of smell" she muttered moving back towards Itaka. "Don't be ashamed, a battle field is the least insane place to be discussing this."

Hayate backed away leaving the body to drop onto the branch "Seriously I am not going to pick up anything special from an unconscious body" he rolled his eye dragging the body further back into the tree then removing the helmet to get a closer examination of the armor the soldiers were wearing.
Felina giggled watching the pigs run away while hanging their heads in shame "Nice shot there cousin, keep up the good work" she praised him with a blink spell. "So what do you think of this little spell I know?" she continued casting mini onto an area of soldiers placed close to where Oassu had moved to.
Satoshi nodded glancing over in the direction of Seph and Itaka fighting together. "True my shurikens may not do much to your armor but that has got me wondering wheather or not Seph could tear through it with her claws" she pondered before spinning around to slice off a soldiers sword arm.

Gilgamesh laughed "I don't think so, I need strong armour that can withstand a behemoth's claws so this suit of armour is made of pure orihalcum and adamantite, I've never known it to need repaired" he said shooting a man with the gunblade before thrusting it through a man's chest.
Mari giggled cutting a soldier finely before slamming her glowing katana into another's sword sending the man and his comrades flying back. "I'll bet your mummy will be so proud of such a precious daughter" she chirped to Hebal.
Itaka grunted "It's not a particularly nice smell granted but it's exhilirating none the less" he said tearing off a man's arm and beating his comrades with it "Still....one day we won't have to put up with it again" he told Seph throwing the arm back to the soldier and stabbing the swordsman next to Seph. "I'll take you away from all this" he said as they came back to back.
Barbaros sighed "Aye mon I best be backing out of here" he said pushing buttons on his cannon causing what looked like levers to pop out of the side. Stepping onto the levers Barbaros fired it sending himself flying upwards into the sky where he pushed a button and another barrage of little shots rained down on the enemy.
Jenna cut and ripped a swathe of destruction through the ranks nodding to Oassu as he jumped into the fray beside her parrying a swordsman and slitting his throat. Jenna smiled "Just like old times eh Oassu?" she asked
Oassu frowned sweeping a guard off his feet before crouching spinning and jumping high summoning a fire dragon as he did which created a fiery eruption in front of him cooking the soldier who had been tripped. "Not really I don't recall fighting thousands of Agralians like this before," he said once he landed.
Zadina nodded "It is good now" he said flickering slightly as blink kicked in and an arrow passed "but they might make it harder" he said pointing to a fresh squad of mages and reinforcements that having won the battle elsewhere were rushing to assist the Agralians.

Seph raised her eyebrow at Itaka bringing her blade up to her fave to avoid a soldier who had attempted to strike at her from above. "I don't know if that will ever happen but the thought of it is nice. I wouldn't say no to retiring one day provided I get enough out of life before hand" she answered kicking the soldier to the ground before finishing him off with a quick stabbing motion.
Alpha chuckled following Barbaros up into the sky with his gaze before quickly snapping back to attention as an arrow almost landed in the back of his head. He grunted catching hold of the arrow, setting it on fire then threw it back into the throat of the archer who it had belonged to. "Stupid archers" he grumbled.
Hebal ears twitched while she whacked a soldier in the stomach with one end of her spear and stabbing another with the sharper end. "Hopefully. My mummy and I aren't that close. I only met her for the first time since I was really little when I was your age. Still I want her to have a role in Amane's life" she explained
