im referring to space marine chapters.

Soon a Death Watch kill-team with drop pod and Rhino, that's about as far as I can go before being fed my own spine through my ribcage.

i just had a game with the apocalypse and they were so hard to kill need my markerlights to stop their 3+ covers saves when turbo boosting.

Mine is DIY chapter based on Ultramarine geneseed and tactics. No flashy special chars for me, but more points to get the boots on the ground. 10 tac marines usually does more damage then coolest of special characters, can suffer more wounds before going down and is scoring. lol

True and also they can go into combat squad as well so your speical weapon has more choice in shooting what target as well instead of one target which you would be out of range.

I play a custom chapter, two, actually.

One's from the days after I played Dark Angels, and it's a successor chapter. Most of those minis are badly painted, and many have multiple layers of paint, from being Ultramarines which I bought from my friend, then painted as White Scars, then painted as Dark Angels, then finally painted as the custom chapter. Oh, and since I tend to fiddle with things rather than leave them be, they're painted a number of different ways. Just a custom paint scheme, I don't really have any fluff for them.

I've also been slowly starting up another custom chapter based on a roleplay my friend and I have been doing for the past three years. Not always a 40k RP, but it has those moments. Luckily a lot of my minis are just primed in black, which is the main color of this chapter. They're my friend's personal chapter. He's a furry/Otherkin, a black and red kitsune specifically, so the chapter is named Hellfire Marines. He likes the sci-fi fantasy part of WH40k, and he especially likes the Space Marine bikes, so I'll be adding a couple of bike squads to the force at some point, to supplement the Tactical Squads in the troops section. I have a personalized miniature for him which is the Chapter Master, as well as a Captain on a bike. I have plans for making a Command Squad for that Captain, all mounted on bikes of course. Expensive, but it's a plan for the next year or so. Like most of my plans, it may not come to fruition as other plans come to the forefront.
