Jake pulls out his PokeGear to see a message. It was from his HQ. They sent him info about the hijacking. He then gets Rose's message.
"What a pain..." He sighs. He turns to Star who was still sitting somberly.
"I'll give you time to think about it." He says as he places a hand on Star's shoulder before walking out. It seems he would only have 5 Pokemon with him today.

Rose was surprised and let out a yip as she grabbed ahold of a chair to avoid falling down, then she took a seat "Auto-pilot huh? I guess Maddy was prepared for anything." she chuckled and waited until she arrived at Lumiose City.

Maddy arrived at the meeting spot as soon as the submarine surfaced. The door swung open and she entered the sub and found Rose.
"No idea why the submarine was so far. I guess it drifted." She said, with a shrug.

Caleb was out back taking a nap under one of the trees. He groaned as he heard his TADS buzzing, turning away from it. Marshtomp sat there bored. He seemed a bit excited to hear the TADS go off.
"A day off once in a while wont hurt..." he muttered.
Marshtomp's excitedness fell whenever he noticed the lack of motivation in his trainer. Oh heck no. Now isn't the time to be lazy Caleb!
"OW! What the hell?" Caleb shouted as he was bonked on the head. He sat up and glared at Marshtomp. Unfazed, Marshtomp handed him the TADS. Caleb scowled, taking it and looking over his messages.
"Really?" he sighed, rubbing his face. Marshtomp grinned. Together to the tower they went.
It wasn't too difficult to find the submarine based on Maddy's directions. Caleb reluctantly climbed inside.
"Yo..." he muttered, raising his hand in greeting. Marshtomp waved excitedly.

When the others arrived, Rose told them that she had won at the Lotto-ID center, but her prize was a cruise, which led to a difficult situation. She explained that the cruise ship was stolen from the Coumarine Port by pirates during the chaos that followed Team Plasma's attack, and she said that they were going to the Pirates' Island west of Cyllage City and they were going to defeat some pirates and reclaim the boat for the Cruise Line
Rose looked at Maddy "Is that okay? Want to go beat them good, boss?"

Jake arrived at the sub and climbed in. He checks to see who's around although he seems to have something else on his mind.
"So just pirates? No sweat."

Maddy shrugged. She looked a little pale in the face.
"It's all good with me. I'ma just set the sub to auto-pilot..."
She keyed in their destination, based on Rose's story, and the submarine turned on again, submerging and heading back towards Cyllage City. It went a little slower, this time.
Maddy went and sat herself in the back corner, in a nice dark spot by a window. She seemed to be keeping to herself.

So this mission was all so Rose could take a vacation on a cruise? Caleb sighed and folded his arms before taking a seat. Well there was no backing out now, and at least he'd be assisting in retrieving a stolen ship. Marshtomp looked pumped up and ready to kick some pirate booty!

They left Lumiose City and went down the River and back to Cyllage City and then headed westward from there. There were a few islands west of Cyllage, but only one with a cove deep enough to have a Cruise Liner in it. Upon arriving there, Rose confirmed its location with the periscope, and found a few guards on the deck, but there were a lot more pirates further inland, they had a small little cluster of buildings there like a town. All the people there would have them quite out-numbered if they came to back up the guards on the boat.
Rose hmmmed "Lets try to surface on the port side, hidden from the buildings, lets try to take over the ship and get out of there before the other pirates can stop us. Maddy, once we are on the cruise ship, can you auto-pilot the sub back to Coumarine or Lumiose City?" Rose asked her

Caleb raised an eyebrow at the plan. Three of them against whatever number of men the pirates had. Four if Maddy wasn't staying behind with the submarine. It couldn't be helped though. Who knew how many men were on the ship.
"Might be better to keep the submarine submerged..." Caleb warned. He shrugged though. By the time the submarine could be spotted, they might already be too far to be caught. The real challenge was moving the ship.
"That liner...looks like a fairly new model. I can see why they'd want to steal it," Caleb muttered as he looked through the periscope.

"Well I could have Interpol move in from shore. Using the sub we can pull up aside the liner and we can get aboard. The three of us should be able to take care of it no problem."
To him these pirates were small time. The real threat he wanted to deal with was Plasma.

Rose nodded to Calab and then looked at Dark "This is good practice for what we're going to do to team plasma"
They began the plan, Rose had Dark contact interpol to get them to move in from the inland while they approached the cruise ship submerged to avoid drawing attention to themselves. The cruise ship had a metal ladder conveniently located on the port side, so when they came out of the sub, they had no trouble climbing onto the deck amidst a punch of cages that contained wild pokemon that the pirates had captured. Some pirates were carrying cages from the deck and were trying to carry them below deck.
They appeared to have captured every sort of pokemon type that was unique to the Kalos region, except of course for any legendaries. There only seemed to be four pirates moving cages at the moment, and one pirate spotted them, and called out a warning.
The pirate that called out the warning disappeared below deck while the other three rushed the Aqua members.
(Fight one pirate each with 2-3 pokemon, and at least one evolved pokemon)

Rose met one of the pirates who sent out a lampent "Fire Spin" the pirate ordered and rose called out her Frogadier who took the hit for her "Thanks, now use Dark Pulse"
Frogadier moved nimbly and unleashed a supereffective dark pulse which seemed to have done a shaken the lampent.
"Lampent, use solar beam" the pirate ordered.
"Another dark pulse should finish it" Rose wasn't intimidated by a grass type move, not with her Frogadier having the Proteon ability, though the pirate didn't know that.
Frogadier struck again and the attack made the solar beam blow up in Lampent's face, and between those two things Lampent fainted.
Her opponent sent out a misdreavous and returned Lampent to it's ball.
"Dark pulse." Rose ordered.
"Psybeam!" the pirate ordered.
Misdreavous endured the super-effective dark pulse, while psybeam had no effect on frogadier, who was dark type.
"Dark pulse again" Rose ordered
That dark pulse made misdreavous faint and her opponent recalled his pokemon.

"Bullet Punch."
In a flash of light one of the men was already down. A black Scizor had appeared and hit him in the gut.
"Good job Glock." He says, recalling his Pokemon. He then goes to check the cages as the others battle.

"Pirates and poachers? How nice..." Caleb said. Take it easy on the sarcasm Caleb.
Then the warning was sounded. Well so much for laying low. One of the pirates ran right for Caleb.
"Well once I take you down...I know where I'm going..." he smirked, gesturing with his thumb and pointing to the bridge of the ship.
"Aye, if ye can defeat me boy," the pirate sneered. He sent out all three pokemon at once.
Aipom, Dusclops and Crobat. At least his team had some variety to it.
Caleb sent out his Noibat and Fennekin. "Back them up Marshtomp..." Caleb said.
Noibat and Crobat took off into the sky, their flying looked much like a show of acrobatics and wind attacks. Caleb could only imagine how long it would last given Crobat's extra set of wings.
"Super Fang!" Caleb shouted. Crobat tried to swat Noibat away to the best of its abilities. Noibat ducked and dived, waiting for her opening before taking the opportunity when there was an opening and biting into Crobat's side. The larger bat came falling back down to the ship. Noibat pulled away before plopping down on Caleb's shoulder.
Marshtomp and Aipom were busy exchanging punches. At least they had been. Marshtomp caught Aipom by the tail before swinging it around. With his free hand, Marshtomp reached his arm back before bringing it forward as he let go of the tail. Power-Up Punch was really something. Aipom went flying.
Fennekin was doing her best to ward off Dusclops, but it was being quite the challenge for her due to the obvious difference in size. Suddenly one of Dusclops' hands reached out and grabbed her tail. Not her precious tail. Fennekin took great pride in her beautiful tail. Dusclops was suddenly shrouded in an intense blast of all-consuming fire.
Caleb folded his arms as Fennekin came back over and jumped into his arms. "So yeah...I'm heading to the bridge now..." Caleb reminded the pirate.
