*walks in and up to the lounge door as well, raising an eyebrow when notices it's closed* neutral Huh...
*turns around to have a seat in a chair in the lobby to wait for Kits, then sees Karrie and walks over to him*
Karrie, right? I do believe we have met many times. *gives a firm nod and holds out hand to be shook*

*looks up when he sees Rod walk in, recognizing him mostly from Kits' sketchbook* Hello, Rod. Yes, I'm Karrie. *shakes Rod's hand* No, I don't think we've spoken many times.

Yeah, seems like there's always other things going on when we meet.
*shrugs* I was just going to hang out in the lounge for a while, but *gestures to the door* I guess that's not happening.

Amy sighed and swung open the doors. Her eyes were tired, but she was smiling. She saw a group of employees and other people in the waiting area.
"Lounge is open now, everyone! Sorry we had to give a little white lie, but the real reason the lounge has been closed is because we've been getting ready for Kits' birthday! It was last weekend, but she, naturally, spent the weekend with her pets and others. So we're celebrating this weekend! So come on in and celebrate with us! There's also a guest book on the bar that you can sign for Kits if you would like. You can leave a message for her, too, if you wish. Thanks everyone!"
As Amy looked around more, she noticed Karrie was in the group. Her eyes widened slightly, but then a soft smile came over her face.

Well, I was actually planning a picnic. *walks with Karrie into the lounge* I known Kits is here at AS alot, but I don't know how often she actually gets to enjoy the beauty of AS without being just the owner. I was hoping to have her enjoy the outside as a patron tonight.

Thought a nice stroll and then a starlight picnic would be nice. *nods head and orders two hot cocoas, one to be made for when Kits shows up* It's certainly chilly enough out there; perfect for keeping someone else warm. wink

Amy smiled at Karrie as he came closer, but then he walked by her and went to the bar with Rod. Her smile faltered, but then she saw the rest of the customers coming in. She smiled at them and welcomed them. She thanked them for coming and for being patient.

*nods* Sounds like something Kits would enjoy. We used to go for walks around my dad's property a lot. *glances toward the door, where Amy is still greeting people* It would be a good nice for that...
