Don't be Aly. Part of it is that in my werid universe of my mind that was clear. Re-reading I don't know why I thought that. I'm also been hit hard at school so this arc couldn't happen at the most difficult time.
There is a ray of hope. Spring break starts friday!

Anyway,
@ Anyone/Everyone: People, lol STOP feeling bad for not being here! I'm fully aware that all of you have things to do outside of Gaia- Hell, even I have things to do-.
My number one rule about this is: Get your s**t out of the way BEFORE you post, or if you need a break from all the work then you can just get on to talk to me/whoever and it would be alright! Like, PERFECTLY alright!
Just do what you guys need to do to get s**t out of the way, then you guys can come on and play! You guys know I'm perfectly understanding about things like this. Stop feeling bad when you're not here to post lol.
But, I will give you guys credit though, because it at least shows me you guys care enough. So, for this you all get brownie points.

@ Those of you still in D.D.: One of you needs to post. It's been at a stand-still for a little while, and I would still like to do my special event for you guys. But I can't do that unless we keep it moving.
Just don't post unless all of your school work is done, or if you're taking a short break from school work then it's fine (I'll permit you a certain amount of time to fool around in the Guild, but then it's back to work. I refuse to allow any of you to fail your courses. [/A total "Yes, Dad" moment]).

Anyway, a sum of why I fell of the face of the earth:
- Computer monitor went out and it'll be a few weeks before I get it back
- Several big assignments from teachers who all think their individual classes are the most important (in reality, half of them are useless)
- I've seemed to have caught a (nasty) mystery respiratory infection that's been going around at school (I blame the spoiled brats that went up to Northern CA in February and came back with a cold). Over-the-counter meds aren't doing it justice.
- Because of this mystery illness, I'm asleep half the time.
Flip side:
- Got to see a pretty cool presentation from some Boeing engineers. I got a business card to prove it. smile
- My Spanish teacher gave my friend and I the thumbs-up to do a (parody) dub of House. We'll be smooshing together clips of the show and doing the voice acting (and it gives me an excuse to go to my friend's house and test out my headset).

I have Wednesdays off now, so I might be able to get more work done on those days which means more posting on the weekends~ but we'll see.
@Styk: .x. I was wanting to use their confrontation as a way of opening up Marcus to the idea of joining 'the good guys'. They can fight if you want and, if you don't mind, I was actually thinking of having Marcus leach from Salvatore. Maybe that's how he would find out about them? .x.; I dunno.. let me know what you think~
@Pen: D: I wish I had spring break... ._.; I just get a week in between quarters at the end of this month and then it's back to mountains of work again..

I like the idea! And yes, I'm totally ok with Marcus leeching from Salvatore!
Like, Marcus could notice something different about the tracks and then BOOM! Marcus grabs Salvatore's coat, or whatever, And since Salvatore can also move fast (Think 'The Flash'), he pulls away, or something?
When Marcus 'leeches' does he take one or both powers?- I forgot how it all works. (I really should read more X-Men comic books. lol)

@Exile: Well I have it set up to where he basically copies whoever his leeches from. Anything from powers to memories depending on how long his keeps in contact. Think Ditto from Pokemon. Physical appearance and all the moves, but with a limited amount of PP, lol. So he would change into Salvatore for an amount of time relative to how long they stay in contact.
I was kind of hopping that the leeching incident would be an accident. Like, with Marcus having his sleeves rolled up, he tries running away and Salvatore goes to stop him and accidentally makes contact with his skin when grabbing his arm? Because if it were planned then Marcus would probably know to let go in time to keep from leeching memories, because that gets disorienting for him.
O: umm... I've been fine~ I must admit, though, things have been increasingly awkward with my parents. I never showed any interest in dating during high school, and I've always had a certain level of maturity that was out of place in high school, so my parents never saw the need to have 'the sex talk' with me. But, ever since I came out to them, they've had more and more questions about my [nonexistent] sex life. sweatdrop
I also think they they're under the impression that if they can keep an eye on me by keeping me from moving out, they'll have a better chance of converting me back to their side, lol. Every time I've tried to set up a day to take a tour of the Art Institute housing they've come up with some excuse that requires the use of me, my vehicle, or both. rolleyes
Things seem to be pretty cool on a normal basis, it's just on those days when we're all sitting around and it gets quiet and I can tell the conversation is about to take a weird turn when I wish I would have come out in High School and got all this out of the way a long time ago, lol.

I think that they're just worried about you. I mean, they seem like very good and understanding people. I think that they're just trying to understand you, and maybe they're trying to let you know in their own way that even though you're "different" you're nonetheless their son. And they love you very, very much.
Personally, if my son came out to my wife and I, I'd still want to protect him. . . and maybe attach a Homing Device to their bag so that I always know where they are at all times. . .

@Styk: You could just implant a microchip in your kid. Of course when they are real little so they don't remember. Oddly enough parents do actually have that done to their kids. Seems invasive at the same time you don't have to worry to much about abduction. It would scare any parent half to death if their precious child was kidnapped but now they have a way of finding them again.

@Koji and Nari: Really I wish had that excitement for Spring Break. Its really more of a catch up week. I'm behind in cleaning my animation up by 8 shots and I have an illustration along with the first draft of a paper. Not to mention work so I can afford going to Tekkosho Con. I now have less than 70 bucks in my checking account and I still need to register.

@Pen: x.x; ugh, I know what you mean about working to save up for cons. I'm still trying to recover from Naka, and I have Anime Expo coming up in a few months... plus I wanted to try going to Fanime, but I think that's out by this point.

O...okay, nothing wrong with chipping people. Just remember to tell them when they get older cause I think once they hit a certain age...it become illegal to chip them without their knowledge or consent.
Other than that, I hope things get better for you and your parents, Koji. The awkwardness will end.
Exile and those rp's beyond, well outside of Avatar...I haven't a clue where we are going? Well no the main I know where we are going, since I'm kinda in control of that for now...*please post when you have the time*. However with Exile, I haven't a clue what to do with my character's in the major scheme of things...Though I want my Resistance Members to pull off one more job...

@Exile: O= well if nobody's guessed yet by the hints I was throwing in Demitri's and Lindiwe's post, I'm planning on thrusting the 'mutant' issue right out into the open in a very chaotic and disastrous display during the Charity Gala. So after Styk and I finish up our little encounter we'll move on to the next day and have whoever can attend start getting ready for the party.
Once again, I'd like to encourage any new members who want to take part in the RP to join in right about now, or in the time between now and the event. It would give you the chance to join up with one of the factions or get a view of what the factions are so as to inspire your character to join one in the future.
