Unfortunately, most of what I learned while I was away had very little to do with any of the elements.
"Just the usual stuff. Making and moving and shaping fire. ...Well, and that fireburst trick I pulled on the bandits."

He nodded. "Very good. I think we can get you started on controlling heat, next." He returned to his spot next to her, looking down into the water. "Speaking of bandits reminds me: They did make another small attempt on the dojo. I'm beginning to lose respect for them--they tried tunneling underneath."

She laughed. "Tunneling? Creative of them."

"Yeah, I'll give them the award for uniqueness." He sighed and took a seat, looking much older than his twenty-one-and-a-quarter-year-old self. He shook his head, banishing a thought or image from his mind. "They seem to be in relative disarray, now that their fearless leader was reduced to ice cubes."

"...That's new, too." Her voice had dropped in volume. "Someone asked why I didn't take that old whitewater move and...tweak it...so I tried."

"And it worked." He said simply. "With incredible efficiency, I might add." He looked down, wiggling his fingers excitedly, formulating something in his brain, "Maybe there's a way to incorporate Ho into something like that. Turn someone into.. molten lava, or.. catch fire to them.." He paused, "Then again, catching fire to someone is pretty easy.. I like the molten lava idea, though.."
All this thinking about techniques rose a question within himself. "Are you still interested in learning my version of the limb-switcharoo technique?"

"I might be." She shrugged again, returning to playing with the fountain water. "I have some other things to take care of first, though. ...It seems like I go on vacation and do a lot more work than I ever do here..."

He winked, "I plan on changing that. Lessons will be intense and frequent, that I can promise." He stood up. "I believe I'll leave you to your thoughts, and let myself sort my own out. Goodnight, Nyl. Sleep well, should you find it."

"You too."
She smiled still as he walked away. The smile faded to just a distant one as she went back to looking down into the fountain.
'You promised, you know.' "...I know. I meant it, too." 'Then quit acting like you didn't!'

Fenris sighed, walking out from the forest and towards the dojo slowly. Every day she had been going to the Earth dojo to practice, working herself until she couldn't even meditate. (Without falling asleep that is...)
She took her hair from its pony tail and messed the curly locks, letting them fall down against her back.

Ally returned cloaked avoiding everyone she possibly could and snuck into her room locking the door. She was having a hard time breathing and took the cloak off revealing a few bad burns and many cuts and scratches. She leaned over , her hands holding her up on the desk and threw up into a nearby garbage. She moved very slowly over to the bed and collapsed on it, her body tired and worn out.

Mai walked in later on with Kyuubi in her arms as it walked onto her shoulder. She was having a hard time doing almost everything right now because her body had been so consumed by her demonic form that she barely had anything of her human left. She walked over to a couch sitting down needing to rest, she had barely been able to eat, or much of anything.

((>>;;; Interesting gap time, Ally. XD))
Tutsumi sighed softly as he looked around the Academy for one of the Senseis, he was getting bored...again. Ally was the one thing recently that was even getting his remote interest.

And so Sage came sauntering out of the kitchen. When he managed to get in nobody knew...but what he came out with was certainly unique. It was a sculpture made of Fudge. The Fudge itself was slightly dried out, and peanut butter flavored. It was still easily within the realm of edible and good tasting, but the sculpture itself was what would hopefully keep it from being eaten.
The sculpture was about 1 foot tall, and built to scale. It showed Nekojiri and Tutsumi. Instead of a battle pose, or staring death at one another however, it showed the two of them clasping each other's forearms and meeting each other's gaze. The eyes of the sculpture reflected happiness, and the details of the piece were incredible. As if it were made by tiny sculptors working on a piece larger than themselves.
It was this sculpture of fudge that Sage carried around with him while he looked around the dojo. " Helloooooo? anyone around?"
