Satoshi laughed redirecting her gaze towards his companion. "Nothing is the matter and I have no right to tell you how you should look so stop worrying over nothing. It's just I never really had a proper look at your face since that helmet is always on" she reassured him scratching Enkidu behind the ears.
Felina placed her arm around Oassu letting go of the branch she had moved. "Thanks. We try to keep in good relations with as many people as we can, but sometimes it's just not possible particulaly with dwarves over the years" she answered pulling him closer to her.
Hayate nodded rubbing the back of his neck "Yeah Corella will be up on the hill with the other mages. Oloneiros will be keeping an eye on her. As for Yandek, he's carrying out the king orders at the moment since he isn't the main strategist. He's a tank too" he added to Alpha and Barbros.
Shizuka flushed patting Mari on the shoulder. "Aww no don't be offended, what I meant to say was my arm is fine and not that painful. You should save it for someone who is really hurt" she quickly reassured Mari scratching her head "I dunno about ninja summoning, I heared they could at least summon giant animals"

Itaka tapped his head "Anything I can do to be better for you Seph" he said resisting the temptation to snuggle her. "Still I ain't gonna be that rude and dirty, I've gotten in too many brawls in my time with folk like that" he smiled remembering the time he knocked a guy's fake gold teeth out and sold them.
Oassu smiled looking up at Felina "Hey yea, can't we get the dwarves to come by, they have plenty of heavy weapons to use against Alex's ground forces and your all friends now anyway right?" he asked
Mari smiled hugging Hebal back "Yeah its got camomile and honey as some of the things in it though it's best added to tea its effects are stronger if drunk like this" she said happily cuddling Hebal "Don't worry about it it's alright" she giggled to Shizuka "If you do need it I can just make some more back on the airship, I'll even put it in the cake we'll make" she added to Hebal poking her on the nose.
Gilgamesh shrugged "I keep my helmet on for a reason, grey skin and ginger hair with six arms isn't the most attractive prospect y'know, some people might mistake me for a fiend"
Barbaros smiled cracking his knuckles "Really? Bet I could take him no sweat" he said smirking.
Jenna sighed "Geez don't go getting all macho," she said turning to Hayate "Barbaros loves wrestling, he'd practice in the inns we went to on the way here" she laughed.
Zadina frowned straining his eyes to see if he could spot the mages "Well thats ok I suppose she'll be nice and safe I'm sure Uncle Ellie wouldn't let anything happen to her" he chirped brightening up.

Seph raised her eyebrow curiously at Itaka reaching up to tap the other side of his head "Oh really? You'll have to tell me more of your thief days sometime. Still did those people really deserve a good beating from the great Itaka Makorski?" she asked curiously while squeezing his hand.
Hebal's nose twitched in response to Mari's poking but she still hugged Mari back. "Your a really good cook, it would be great to try it out later. Maybe you could even teach us how to make a special cake" she chirped reaching up to scratch her ears. "Hehe Amane will be able to summon nig animals too when she's older"
Alpha glanced over at Barbaros forming a small grin upon over hearing Jenna's statement. "In that case maybe I'll have a wrestle with him later. It's good fun and great exercise. Elves wouldn't make great wrestlers anyway with their builds"

Felina hesitated changing onto another footpath as a fork formed in the one they had been travelling on. "I don't know. Dad may have asked them for assistance too because they have airships. We never really got time to discuss what he was planning did we" she pointed out keeping her fingers crossed that something bad wouldn't happen.
Satoshi shrugged taking a bottle of water out from her bag "I don't think you look that bad then again I travel with demons. Not to mention in the life of a ninja you see all kinds of things. I once saw a blue skinned man who looked a little like a shark for example" she answered laughing quietly to herself.
Hayate rolled his eyes at Barbaros then gave a nod to Felina to confirm she was on the right path. "Yeah Elorin wouldn't let Corella out of his sight if he wasn't confident she could handle herself in a battlefield. We'll be fine so long as we can wrap most this battle up in 16 hours and the king has had at least 3 days to prepare some kind of strategy for this battle. "
Shizuka smiled weakly watching as Mari and Hebal hugged eachother. "You can cook? You should let me try one of your dishes someday Mari but who is this Amane that you speak of?" she asked them feeling a little left out.

Oassu smiled at Felina "Your Dad's a smart one I wouldn't worry so much" he said nuzzling her "Though how did he know about the battle in advance? He seemed pretty shocked when Narasaela walked in" he asked Hayate.
Itaka smiled "Yeah they were ogling the waitress there and harassing her, I frequented the pub quite a lot and was liked enough so I beat em up a bit." he said squeezing her hand in return "Plus I was a little drunk" he added quietly looking away.
Barbaros laughed "I reckon Itaka could take you Alpha and he's smaller than me, dream on if you wanna wrestle me" he smirked.
Jenna rolled her eyes grumbling to herself "Stupid Macho men ugh" she sighed padding up beside Hayate "Aren't the ground troops a threat though? That unit would have struggled if it weren't for us you know" she told him.
Zadina giggled "Maybe we could go see her after this skirmish" he said "But what's our plan of attack gonna be?" he asked.
Mari nodded "I was the chef, waitress and maid of the inn I worked at and was trained how to cook for my husband" she said stroking Hebal's ears "Well I'd like to see her summon squirrels now, it'd make it so easy to gather chestnuts and hazelnuts for recipes" she giggled "Amane is Hebal's daughter, she's about Zadina's age" she added to Shizuka.
Gilgamesh blushed again this time putting his helmet back on to conceal it "U-Um yes I think I've heard of someone like that, a great swordsman I must fight him sometime, some name like Kizame or Kitsame" he shrugged "He has some special sword too I hear I could use that" he smiled.

Seph tutted playfully poking Itaka in the side. "Not the smartest idea in the world to start a drunken brawl now is it. Still I suppose the intentions behind the action was nice enough" she told him cheerfully before leaning in closer to him. "Besides thats nothing compared to some of the stuff I have done on a night out but that can wait until another time" she whispered.
Alpha sirked giving Barbaros a playfull shove forward "Don't be so cocky. Itaka thought he could beat me at bowling, he got that one wrong. I think you're more afraid to take me on" he teased ignoring Jenna's comment and kicking the remains of a log to one side.
Hebal grinned jumping up and down on the spot for a few seconds "Yep what she said, Amane is my special little girl who is training to be a summoner. She looks just like me apart from having a darker fur colour after her father. Oh and she is probably smarter and better with magic in general" she blabbed on holding up her a picture of her child for Shizuka to see.

Hayate sighed slightly annoyed by all the questions being asked. "Now where should I begin. Firstly, only a third of the army max is currently in battle. The rest of the soldiers have been evacuating people and setting up traps around the forest. The majority of white mages are up at the temple and most the black mages are assisting the summoners so for now all we can do is defend until the rest of the army comes forth. Secondly I stated Elorin knew there would be a battle thanks to a seer who made a prediction. He did not however expect to see a man who should have been dead" he explained taking a deep breath.
Felina nodded rubbing noses with Oassu "I don't think anyone was expecting to see Narasaela anywhere let alone the palace of all place. To be honest I was a little scared when he showed up, he creeps me out with all of his crazy ideas" she muttered feeling her cheeks turn red.
Satoshi smiled back stroking Enkidu one last time before standing back up. "I believe his name was Kisame. Oddly enough in my language it literally means shark" she informed him quickening her pace to catch up with the others. "Hmmhow do you usually collect your swords? I am unfamiliar with your stories."
Shizuka laughed taking a hold of Hebal's picture to take a better look. "She's a really cute kid. She'll be just as pretty as you when she's older" she answered kindly pasing the picture back. "I didn't know you were married Mari, is it to one of these guys?"

Oassu smiled "Aww don't you worry now, none of his perverted ideas can come true now" he said snuggling her and patting her butt "I'm the only one allowed naughty thoughts about you" he whispered to her happily.
Itaka chuckled "Believe me I'd do a lot worse if a guy insulted you in a pub but we'll all get nice and drunk after this you'll have to show me what your like on a night out" he said stroking her hair a little.
Little Zadina smiled his questions contented he stepped back to look at the picture of Amane and beamed "Little Amane, isn't she pretty Miss Shizuka?!" he said.
Mari shook her head patting Hebal on the shoulder "She might not be smarter or better at magic, she's about Zadina's age so maybe she still follows the stork story for one thing plus you've had so much more experience than her still I can't wait to meet her, I'll be like her fun big sis!" she cheered.
Gilgamesh nodded pulling out some swords "Most of them I win by defeating the wielder and taking his blade, simple enough but some like this" he said pulling out his imitation buster sword "I buy because the real one lies in another world beyond ours and is a legend but none of them really compare to excalibur" he said putting his weapons away.
Jenna frowned "Well at least we're prepared for it it'll do us good to keep and eye on things though" she said brightly "I want to be involved in the offensive when we go" she cheered.
Barbaros shoved Alpha back "Yo Itaka you hearing this? This old man thinks he can take me in a wrestling match" he laughed "A funnier story I never did hear" he chuckled

Seph grinned leaning into Itaka "It's good to know you are willing to stand up to me. Though there might not be much left for you to do if someone were to insult me more than once.. Also I'm not sure you want to see me on a bad night out. I can get very rowdy and a little frisky" she laughed trying to see if she could spot the soldiers in front of them yet.
Alpha grunted folding his arms "Hey just because I am old it doesn't mean I am weak. I'll take you on as soon as it becomes a better time" he challenged holding out a glove but turned to face Hayate. "I have heared of a seer before but I also hear they are pretty hard to find nowerdays so Elorin must have got lucky"
Hebal nodded pulling Zadina into a hug with Mari and Shizuka. "You'll know what I mean when you meet her. She is growing up to be totally awesome and you're right Zadina she is pretty and you'll get to have lots of fun and play loads of games together" she continued happily.

Felina smiled back lightly poking Oassu on the forehead "Yeah I know I won't have to worry about Narasaela. Still if you're going to have bad thoughts then please keep them to yourself and we'll all be fine" she whispered back pointing to small figures on the distence that could only just be identified as other soldiers.
Satoshi scratched her head examining all the swords that had been presented to her. "You never know, one day you might get the real ones. Still I find it hard to believe people would simply give you their sword upon defeat. Did you just pick them up and go or something?"
Hayate nodded with a grin at Jenna "Sure you'll be on the ofensive too once the army is fully set up and operational. You're just one of the lucky ones who gets some defensive action too. I know a few people who are jealous of the fact we are getting more battles" he chuckled squinting to make out the other unit.
Shizuka giggled a little hugging the others back. "Why Mr.Zadina do you have a little crush on Amane? But you're right, she is a pretty little viera if... developed for her age" she answered patting him on the back. "I bet you and Amane have great fun together Hebal"

Oassu smiled cuddling Felina "Of course," he said "Don't you worry I'll take care of you should anything bad happen" he said happily.
Gilgamesh laughed "Oh no some of these are real, this one" he said pulling out Zantetsuken "And these two as well" he said pulling out Tournesol and Excalipoor "Though I don't like this one" he said glaring at Excalipoor putting them away "Well upon defeat generally I can just kill them and take their sword if they are unwilling to part with it," he glanced at Satoshi "Don't get me wrong it's not like I'm some sword hunting psycho, it's all honourable duels and they can surrender their sword beforehand should they refuse my challenge and we agree to sacrifice a sword if we lose beforehand, if I have to kill someone to take their sword it's only because they break the terms of the duel" he explained.
Itaka grinned "What makes you think thats a bad idea" he growled at her making a sly pass "Sounds quite tempting to me." he chuckled stroking her softly.
Mari giggled "I think he does" she said squeezing them all together "Mind you I don't blame him, she's quite sexy for her age right Zadina?" she asked.
Zadina turned even redder than before "I suppose she is a little...developed, but I'm really looking forward to having someone to play with" he stammered trying to change the subject.
Jenna smiled a little "Thats nice to know but they have an important job too protecting the people and kiddies" she said happily "They can prepare the food for the party afterwards" she said feeding Boco a little.
Barbaros laughed "Alright Alpha, if you insist then I won't hold back for fear of hurting your back but we'll have to talk later it looks like we're almost in the battle zone" he said slinging his cannon over his shoulder and working on it.

Hebal bounced up and down cheerfully "Yeah shes growing up really fast but she still loves a good game of tag and hide and seek. I bet Zadina is just excited about having someone his own age to play with for a while" she chirped letting go of the others as she noticed the battle going on up ahead.
Seph growled back gently tugging on Itaka's hair "tempting as it may be, I hope you wouldn't take advantage of little old me when in a vulnerable state. Also fortunately for you I am not trying to get drunk in case I show myself up in front of Felina's parents" she muttered grabbing the hilt of her sword with her other hand.
Alpha nodded scratching his back while he dodged around a tree stump. "Well then good because it would be boring if you held back. I like a challenge anyway" he grunted watching as Barbaros worked on preparing his weapon for the battle ahead.

Felina nodded leaning further into Oassu "And if anything bad were to happen to you I would take care of you. But I think it's best we prepare for the next battle. We'll be there in 5 minutes" she told him feeling around her back before taking out an arrow from her quiver.
Satoshi raised her eyebrow looking at the last sword Gilgamesh had pulled out. "Whats up with the last sword... excalipoor?" she asked glancing around the group at their weapons. "If we weren't allies would you try and take any of the groups swords" she also questionned curiously as she pulled out a kunai from her back pocket.
Hayate laughed petting Boco's beak "Nobody is going to be making party food until we've made something to party about. Anyway everyone start getting prepared for the next battle" he advised everyone before repeating his words in elvish to the resst of the unit.
Shizuka giggled at how red Zadina had turned "Hey theres no need to be embarrassed she's a cute girl. We all had a first crush around your age too you kow, its all a part of growing up" she reassured him cheerfully with a pat on the head. "I bet Amane will be happy to have someone new to play with"

Oassu nodded releasing Felina "Right without a serious commander we'll mop these up in no time" he said reaching round his jacket to draw his knives "Then maybe we can consider an offensive." he cheered.
Zadina gasped shaking his head rapidly "I'm sure its not a crush absolutely positive yup yup" he said quickly "I'm just excited to be able to meet a girl more or less my own age" he lied.
Itaka shrugged "Well...in my defence I'd probably be drunk too, you could just as easily take advantage of me" he teased "But I ain't gonna let Felina's parent's ruin my fun, they're judging Oassu remember" he pointed out gripping his sword.
Jenna nodded lifting her lance out of it's resting place Boco glanced up at her questioningly. Jenna stroked his beak "Thats right boy it's time to fight" she reassured him lifting her lance "Ok whenever we're ready"
Gilgamesh grunted pulling out Excalipoor "I hate it because I thought it was Excalibur at first but it's as blunt as anything" he sighed slicing Barbaros with it.
Barbaros frowned rubbing his arm where Gilgamesh hit it "Ouch watch it Gil!" he said before going back to the cannon of his aiming and shooting at a wyvern in the distance once his preparations were complete. The wyvern staggered before slumping to the ground.
Gilgamesh shrugged "Just proving a point" he said indicating Barbaros arm where a small bruise was appearing "Not a scratch" he said slotting it back into his armour. "Though I might have tried to take Itaka's sword it's pretty unique, I don't need Seph's sword or Mari's" he said tapping his helmet.
Mari patted Zadina on the head "Relax stud" she said before blushing remembering Shizuka's earlier question "No I'm not married I learned to cook in preparation for my future husband" she said sticking her tongue out "I have better taste than these guys anyway" she said

Seph laughed pulling her sword out of its sheath. "Well yeah theres fun but they may judge Oassu a little by the compnay he keeps. We've got to show a little class too" she grinned pushing her shoulders back. "Oh and don't worry I won't take advantage of you at least not intentionally."
Alpha nodded forming a small fireball in his hand which was grandually becoming bigger "Yep I'm also ready to fight. Still it's not that nice to strike one of your friends with a weapon regardless of how sharp it is" he tuted at Gilgamesh.
Hebal giggled looking back on the group "The guys in this group aren't that bad It's just the best are all taken" she whispered patting Zadina on the head. "Relax kid you don't have to lie to us, we won't laugh if you have a crush. Still if you want to talk to more kids your age Amane could introduce you to her friends too"
