Alex remained quiet, taking on the stares of the siblings, Brad, Rud, and HK-47. After a moment, she looked around, trying to find Slade. He was no where to be found.
Just to be safe, she locked the door behind her and walked closer to the others.
"Because my father has made some shitty requests in past, one of them being Slade's life debt to protect me, which has made him a nuisance that I'd love to get rid of. Another example of my father's idiocy is a debt he owes the Wolves. The Raiders were attacking the house more and more, and Dad was getting worried about me, so he asked the Wolves to deal with them, who turned around and betrayed him by tripling their already high price.
"So, I need to see your OTHER annoying brother for two causes. One, to pay off my own damn bounty so Slade can MAYBE ease up a bit on me. The other falls into King's damn request to save Slade's dead humanity. I'm hoping by making his job easier, and or proving I can survive well enough on my own, I can somehow start the first step in King's pointless request."
