worst part i dislike about rpgs and trpgs... is you not knowing where to go if you stop playing for more than a week. old school games were horrible for this... i don't know where to go in final fantasy i [dawn of souls] because of it. trpgs kinda help you along, since the ones i've played usually have a map or mission set up that has a blinking cursor where you need to be, or the one at the bottom of the list is the next area.

All tRPGs are fairly straight forward.
I remember getting lost endgame in Wild Arms 3 after not playing it for a month. It was horrible and took me several hours to get back on track.
I think I resorted to reading parts of a strategy guide to get an idea of where I was again. At least I used that one, which would be a first (save SaGa Frontier). I dunno why I buy all the strategy guides and never even open them. Maybe I'd have more money if I didn't.
Beautifully done FFXII and KH2 guides are virtually unread and are collecting dust on my bookshelf.

i don't know if it's 'cause i was overlevelled.. but the wa3 final boss series was a major anticlimax. but i did too spend a while wandering near the end, 'cause i thought i triggered an event but didn't. i kept going between the ark and that plateau dungeon and the secret tower, and nothing happened in the ark that was supposed to. so i had to actually go somewhere else i thought i'd finished or something. it was wierd.
i was about to explain why i mentioned trpgs in that bunch, but when i was typing it out, it didn't make sense. "they have a habit of taking your cursor away and not telling you where to go: see ffta." well, they have the mission screen.
what i SHOULD say about trpgs is they don't usually warn you when you should save 'cause of a boss run. like... when in fft i was trapped trying to fight velius at 5 or so levels too low and he kept mowing me down. or in the same game, when you go to murond death city... if you planned on going back out and starting on deep dungeon after getting a good bit in, you're wrong... straight from there, down through the cities, straight to the ship graveyard and endgame.
not that the zodiac summon was worth the effort of surviving it.

I'm still tempted to get a PSP when the Disgaea and FFT ports are released.
Multiplayer = Win.

Yay. My dad owns the XBOX 360 though, so boo. He put up a retarded name in place of my ********' awesome one; you don't wanna know what it is. I also had a damn good time playing Halo 3 multiplayer, which is nuts.

There really isn't any other good Support skills 'cept Two Hands/Swords. Monks just pwn on their own right.

Jello has broken the game world.
And considering the absurd amounts of damage monks sometimes seem to punch for, the calculus seems simply unnecessary. Hell, if it's the right monk, dual wield is unnecessary except for demons.
