Yeah, poor Yang alright... they really killed my hope for BumbleBee Valentines, lol. But eh, not exactly Velvet's technique, not exactly Weiss' either. Will just hint at it by saying think about what Leonard's done so far and you'll probably have almost the exact idea.
We might need to tweak some more things, but recruitment might have to move forward so we can start the combat system tweaking again given we seem to have something that works tried and true for casual story stuff, so we can recruit around that much still, try to get the character development going while new recruits get involved in the system creation for combat. Drawback is the dice thing while nice for being fair probably will scare some people off still like happened with Fen.
I'm not rolling in free time currently, but for the most part tell me a time and chances are I can be online for a few hours at a time most evenings, or early mornings depending on timezones and such whatever the case for us getting something off the ground.

If we start the recruitment now we could probably start it out with what we have and get more input from any new recruits to help us tweak it proper. I will be officially available a whole lot more in about a week as well, and if we want I will be happy to take the reins, though I was unsure if we wanted to start over with the story or have a "The story so far" segment detailing our test RP.
What is everyones timezones btw? If you dont mind that is. I've noticed Naru is always on in the AM, about the time I get home from my graveyard shift, and H4X is always on in the PM. I am Pacific Time Zone (I live just outside of Seattle razz )

Pacific for me as well.
As for when I post, checking back through some of my most recent posts / mails... eh random times somewhere around 3-4AM / 10-12AM / 7PM-10PM seems to sum up the last month or so.

I'm in central time zone atm
we could totally start over, yea having a new set of eyes looking at it would definitely help are we going to do this in the barton town forum or keep it in the guild? I think we should discuss it again just because

We could do it here and advertise (if they still have the Guild advertisement forum). We can always try Barton Town, though from what I have seen it has been back in forth. Sometimes only a handful of RP's are active for a day or two before there is an influx, and a lot of it is all OOC chat. I think there are pros and cons for each. The Guild is more comfortable for us, but could be intimidating for new members while Barton Town can be...madness, hahaha.

Either or will work for me. The OOC madness might be a problem, but at the same time it could be useful at least in the development stage, and the fact is getting someone involved in a guild which still doesn't have thread subscription feature might kill things for us to start something off.

As I live and breathe, the Fooj! I'm good, my man. Got a government job and a kid on the way. I guess I missed the times when we had to create our own excitement, haha. How are you?

We could run both. Basically doing a test RP in the forums, letting everyone know we have a guild ready to go, but we want to work out the kinks first before starting things for real there. Everyone will be encouraged to make "test" characters for the forums. It would be good for getting feedback and I feel if people are willing to put in enough effort to help us with this they'd be willing to transfer to the Gild and start a new with a perfected system
I'm afraid it will be discarded from Barton Town to the "Test" forums though which wont do us any good.

How are you? I'm good man! Real good! Working graveyard at UPS loading trucks right now. Congrats on the upcoming kid man! I'm married with a kid of my own! I was literally just talking to my wife about how I used to chat with all these different people from Gaia back in the day on messenger but I lost contact with all of them. Crazy!

Congratulations buddy. I don't think I could properly explain the GNA to my soon-to-be missus. There's something about staying up for straight days RPing until I passed out in Neko's kitchen floor that just gets lost in translation.

I am glad I am past that, oh man, it was pretty fun though! I havent properly explained the GNA to her myself, just that I made some really good friends, and that while it didnt really "matter" looking back, at the time it was something I would obsess over IRL. Wondering what I messed while I was in school and the like.

We talked about nothing, really, and apart from Nek, Iri's the only regular that I managed to keep up with.
