*Dani was walking the hells when she passed by the detention room and saw a really heart cute heart boy!*

"He's way to cute to be in detention... oh that simply won't do..." *Whispers to herself.*

*Crouching down in the hallway, a Witchblade wire slithers up the wall to the clock right above the teachers head to adjust the time 30 min fast.*

*Standing with a smile she pokes her head in and points to the clock for Terry to see.*

"Uhm, excuse me, but detention is over," someone said. Teddy's head perked up. That had to have been the quickest twenty minutes of his life. Had he just fallen asleep? Rubbing his knuckles against his eyes, he looked at the clock. According to it, detention was over. Sweet! He gathered his things and before the teacher could even dismiss them, he was heading out the doorway.

"Remember what I said Teddy Bear!" the girl called to him, "Don't be tragic!" Teddy frowned, feeling a sense of unease in his stomach. Who the heck was she anyway to but into his personal affairs like that? He stood outside the doorway, scratching his head, unsure of what to do with himself next. Should he actually do homework? Ugh.

"Then give her space Chris. You have friends. Spend time with them. If you need to get away for a weekend, I will take you to Thalarion to rest and relax."

He set a hand on Chris's shoulder.

"Try to remember that we have all suffered a loss. Wally's death has affected her Chris, more so than we know. I know, I went through the same thing. Perhaps more, when Patroclus died. And if what I understand is correct, when I return to Troy, I will be forced to relive that again."

He led Chris over to the lake to stand near Mysia as she drank and sprayed water up playfully.

"You were wise to not want my life Chris. My life has been nothing but blades and war since I was a boy. The one bright spot in my life outside of family is...was, Patroclus."

He looked at Chris.

"Be grateful friend, that Cassandra yet lives. I was condemned by fate and destiny to see my own soul mate perish. You have had much of what I would have cherished. A normal childhood."

A normal childhood? Dude....we've fought zombies, gone to Hell and Hades, bounced through time, visited Mars, and been attacked by religious nutjobs. You think any of that is normal?

*Chris skipped a stone across the lake.*

Don't worry. Cassie will have plenty of space.

Achilles stasrted to respond to Chris when Lisa made her rather dramatic appearance and bolted past them, throwing a classic "she-tsntrum" at the edge of the lake. He turned to Chris and jetted a thumb toward her, "Isn't that the wench who's been chasing you?"

"Muh-muh-my brother may d-d-die!"

Lisa looked up at Achilles with big, wet blue eyes.

"Uh...yeah.."

Hartley rubbed the back of his neck. Lisa was chewing the scenery, and it was making him feel weird. Like a cross between patting her on the head and pushing her in the lake. He wondered if this sort of crying actually worked on Powell.

"Len was sort of attacked last night. There was this thing at the West Gate with the, er, Peeps..."

"Hi Teddy, my name is Danielle. But everyone calls me Dani." She smiled at him walking backwards as she spoke. "I can't believe they tossed you in detention form sleeping in class." She paused. "No. wait.. yes I can. I nearly got kicked out of the boys dorm the first day of school... the authority in the place is lame."
