Sammy's heart plummeted in her chest, sending her into a swirling world of confusion... One of her best friends at Aqua... had just implied that her heart was completely dead... "I am... Sorry to have upset you..." she whispered, her hat pulled so that her hurt eyes could not be seen. "I express... my condolensences... With as much emotion that I can muster...." she assured, looking upwards once more. A desperately hollow look entered her eyes. In order to stay calm, she could feel no emotion. That was just how it was supposed to be for her.
Donner took a quick glance from Maddy to Sammy, then back to Maddy. "I can't let you do that. My trainer would think it was her fault for your leaving and, quite possibly, could return to her suicidal state," Donner muttered, although that stage in Sammy's life had been awhile ago.

Maddy just frowned. "Then put her on happy pills. I'm outta here!" With that, she attempted to push past the Pokemon.

Donner frowned, shoving Maddy back into the room. "I'm afraid I can't do that, Dave," he stated firmly and yet in a mocking tone. "...I never imagined that one of the tier ones would be such a baby..."

"Me? A baby?" Maddy's eyes turned to a light purple. "So trying to get away from the people I'm destined to eventually destroy makes me a wimp? Explain that, please." She couldn't hide the anger in her voice.

Max came downstairs in a rush. His Riolu, Ripley was on his shoulder. Riolu had sensed some pretty strong emotion emanating from downstairs. He pulled Max out of his bedroom and they rushed downstairs.
He barged in on quite an awkward scene. "Uhm...I think I should go do something else..." he said rubbing the back of his head.

Arekku's throat clenched, his sober conscience entering his body, he noted Sammy's very probable caring state, the stable side of his mind closed his voice and he was able to speak no more hateful things toward his friend. this calmed him enough to take a grip on himself and wonder what was going on. His body loosened and he looked up at Sammy, "I-... I'm Sorry..." The Anger broke from the air, being shattered from of the frame of it's container. He fell back against the chair. "What... happened...?"

Donner grinned at Maddy. "You don't face up to your problems, you just try and run away from them. And that's why everyone in Aqua is going to die," he stated.
Squirt saw Max enter the room and he crawled over, waving with his paw.
Sammy pressed her palm to her head, looking at Arekku. "I am not sure. Do you require assistance?" she asked, doing a very good job of hiding her sadness.

Max knelt down to look the Squirtle in the eyes. "Hey buddy. What is goin' on in here?" he asked. He knew that probably wouldn't help him, but he thought it was at least something he could do.

"They will die if I stay here! Besides, I'm facing up to enough problems as it is and getting away for a while to think about them is just what I need." Maddy said, her eyes reverting back to their usual dark purple.

Squirt looked up at Max, shrugging. All that he knew was that his trainer was abnormally unemotional at the time.
Donner sighed a bit. "Fine. Abandon the team, it's not like I give a s**t about what happens to you. When you come back and your sister has killed Arekku or Adam or Tommy or Ginji or Christian, don't blame me," he growled, turning from this person. Obviously she didn't wish to be there, and that just meant she wasn't all that dedicated to the team.

"Uh... No.. I don't think so..." He stood up, and almost instantly the blood rushed to his head. He dizzily wobbled for a second for his head to return to normal. "I'm alright..." He looked to his side to think for a second, "I-... I didn't mean what I said... about your heart being dead... I don't know what came over me..." He took a few steps forward, "Please forgive me..."

Max looked up in shock. Kill? Did that Lucario just say that Maddy was going to kill someone. Max was kind of scared. He just sat there waiting to hear more, trying to absorb more information.

Sammy's gaze met that of Arekku's, and she looked rather indifferent. Although that was certainly not how she felt. "Apologies are unneeded. You were emotionally compromised at the time and were not in control of what you were implying," she said promptly, turning around the acknowledge the prescence of Max and Maddy.

"My sister wants me dead... No one else. That's what I'm focusing on right now." Maddy said, walking towards the teleporter now that the way was clear. "The least I can do is lead her away from here."

Arekku leaned to his right a little to look passed Sammy. Sure enough, Max was standing there eavesdropping on some people in the hallway.
