I agree! More people should wear kilts. I always wished I had Scottish heritage so I could justify it. Also I'm a girl so it's less ok but still...

You didn't "Fail" per se... you got rejected. If there's one thing I learned about applying to schools is, it's pretty much a crap shoot. Unless you're a billionaire and can say "I will fund a new gym if you accept me, even though my grades make it seem that there's a hamster in control of my brains." I was .07 GPA away from my valedictorian right? Got outright rejected from 4 of the 7 schools I applied to because a lot of white girls happened to be applying that year. Ended up at a single sex college (which was not a good idea) as a result. There's not a lot to do but hang in there and recognize that to a large extent, rejections are not a reflection of you but rather a reflection on what your year's population is like or other extraneous factors beyond your control. I believe it is all in your essay when you are applying. I dont think it matters how many people of high finances apply or their color or backround. It is all on the person. Sometimes things dont work out the way we want. but i will say this. i am a hispanic student and ive been to four different colleges i have been accepted to every one that i have applyed to. So dust yourself off and try again. Youll get into somewhere good xd
