"Well than little friend, you seem to have all the answers. Can you give me one more thing of information. This place, will it have a way of locating possible others here on this world? If so, how woud I come by these means of locating the place.?"

He walked out from under the tree and looked towards where he believed to be the direction of the shuttle. Than looked up at the stars and back to the robot.

The bot referenced as before, though much more quickly this time around. "The Cradle is a combat capable facility, housing numerous craft. It is fully capable of advanced scans of both nearby spacial sectors and the planet's surface. Deeper scans are subject to further deviation of resources, pending approval of the command staff. KB will be attending the Gala, so you can contact him then. KB is of course, the main benefactor and owner of the station." The droid didn't feel the need to mention KB was at the Citadel, though it might come up if asked.

"Well than, I shall not waste your time nor mine for this matter. I'll be on my way to the shuttle than, though the joyful sound I'm hearing from in the forest of a battle does make me curious to see what could be happening."

Kassatsu takes out one of his cigarrets and lights it with a normal wooden match. He blew the smoke out a bit and than smiles and gives a small nod and heads to walk to where he was told to go to meet the shuttle.

"Thank you again little bot, I'll be sure to tell your master about your manners and what not when I meet him."

Kassatsu than seems to have a vanish of himself after a transparent like black serpent coils around him and roars than vanishes with him in a spiral of mist.

"Oh dear." The bot commented as the man vanished, before starting to float along forwards slowly. It was once more searching for humanoids worthy of it's invitation. The young man it just had the pleasure of talking to seemed like a charming individual.

Jim Hensley

Her biomatrix scanner activated once more, a dome of particals searching for healthy, living, cells precised to find animals. And off she went into the forest, searching.

Eventually Kah would fail to find another lifeform (besides those of that have already been addressed), the forest seemed almost devoid of any life more sentinent than a squirrel, and even the furry rodent population seemed to be a bit... lacking.

Of course, that doesn't stop one from finding her.

Advanced scanner that she was, Kah would likely realize the moment a large section of innocuous earth abruptly became a physically living being. It wasn't an illusion, or even a shapeshift of any sort. The ground fundamentally changed its existence into the tall oddly dressed form of Arrogance.

"Salutations."

((Quotes from pages ago cause I'm too lazy to write it out again.))

Quote:
To describe this one as tall is an understatement. Almost three meters tall, rail thin and whip-cord lean. His wildly spiked and brilliant red hair seems to glow and shimmer as he moves, so much so that it seems impossible that he could not be seen from miles away. His clothing is odd, a black chinese peasant's work shirt so long that on a normal man it would be more a dress than the well fitting sheath that gloves him. Tiny spiked skulls, flashing in silver, button the shirt along the long plain of torso from left waist to neck. Similar skulls dangle from chains that agressively mesh his black pants and dangle from his left ear.

You get the impression that he would pierce his face and body as well, but likes it too much.

Krono gripped his blood scythe tightly and watched ad his opponent revealed something new about himself. He watched with curiosity as the red sphere appeared and he even felt his body pulled toward it for a brief second, as was the blast shot by his Buster Rifles. As the sphere dissipated, his shot was propelled somewhere into the far off distance and his body was sent back a bit, however he was able to stabilize almost instantly.

He looked at the new form his foe had taken on, which appeared to be that of a full fledged demon. He didn't have much time to examine this new form as he quickly went into an attack. Krono held his scythe at an angle, ready to counter attack. His foe kicked forward with incredible speed and was surrounded by lightning in the blink of an eye. Krono attempted to strafe to the side using his wings, but he wasn't quick enough. The cross slash intended for his body connected in a sense. One of the swords bounced off of his scythe, and due to Kronos reaction the damage done to his chest was minimialized as compared to what it could have been.

He could feel blood coming from the wound and could tell that it would take a while for that particular gash to heal over. He quickly turned to see his foe a good distance away from him and reverting back to his normal state, and Krono would use this time to dish out some damage. He called both his Katanas back to his side and when they returned a few second later, he sent them forth at rocketing speeds to impale his foe in the back. He then sent himself hurtling forward, ignoring the wound which was inflicted on him and whirling his scythe in a circle.

Hopefully his swords connected with his foe, and if they didn't then the likelihood of his next attack seemed slim. He was enclosing on Chronic at a great speed and upon reaching him he would put all his effort into trying to cut his wings off with his acidic blood scythe, more than makeing up for the little stunt he pulled off not long ago.

Chronic Toxicosis

His last attack left him weakened and disoriented. He attempted to move out of the way of the on-coming blades, but failed miserably, each one's blade going clean through him and stopping at the hilt. His eyes would open wide as this happened, seeing everything as a blur still, and began to plummet down toward the earth before quickly stopping himself by spreading out his wings and using them like a hang glider to slow his fall. However, it would become clear that this was not the best course of action.

Having his wings spread and exposed had left them open to Krono's on-coming attack. The acidic scythe would cut clean through his wings like butter, leaving him to plummet once again to the earth with a loud thud. He would remain there for several seconds before getting up and trying to adjust his vision once again, his wings on either side of him. The wings on his doppelganger would also disappear.

Angered, Chronic now began to shake. He would simiply raise his fists to the air, sending his gauntlets flying off toward his opponent like missiles. The living weapons would continue swarming around him, launching fiery attacks and smashing into him at every chance they got. While Chronic still attempted to regain his senses, his doppelganger would continue to provide cover fire with incredible speed and accuracy.

At the sudden materialization of a lifeform, Kah's first guess was that her systems were malfunctioning, but only something wrong. Her biomatrix scanner hadn't read anything of note until a half a heart beat ago, but her M-4 tracking unit had picked up something. A twisted perversion of a magical existance, similar in residual properties of pond scum the strangeness being recieved on Kah's M-4 unit had her momentarily baffled. As fast as this thing could shift and jump, send impulses from it's brain to it's vocal and out it's mouth, Kah's S-2 processing unit was faster still as it utilized the latest in bioengineered nerve fiber optics - the average human nerve ending capable of recieving and transmitting enough information to short circut every computer in the world on a daily basis. Combat responses were immediate, Kah's new Angel Forge prototype having been activated now that the remote unit was in Tegral's posession, with targeting and scanning equipment meassuring up every inch of this strange tall thing.

Only nothing made sense. Every time she thought she had a stable lock on something it'd change! And it wasn't even in a semi-predictable pattern! Usually something had a basis in which could be scanned and the new S-2 unit could devise hundreds of milllions of different possiblities choose the most likely based on previous data or immediate diagnostic scans and download them into Kah's head. Only this thing's base was shifting! What the bloody butt ******** hell!?

Of course none of this really affected the woman's appearance. Changed from her previous garb she now wore a pair of cowgirl boots in place of her heavy black combat boots, with long black stockings that went clear up to her theighs, and a pair of lace booty-shorts. Her torso was wrapped in a heavy winter's jacket, flairing a bright pink color, and she had enough peircings in her ears and neck to match those on Arrogance's body.

"Uh, HI!" She shouted almost cheerfully as she sent a quick burst of code up to the Cradle. She was ordered to find important units of lifeforms on the planet, she was just trying to figure out who this thing was.

Undoubtedly Kah would be surprised when a presence stops her transmission. No, from the feedback of such an action it seems more like something reached up and just swatted it out of the sky.

"Now now, that was exceedingly discourteous! A transgression such as the like I have never born witness to, an affront it is to evince of one's subsistence mere moment after concourse!"

His eyes were dancing, literally, snapping and jittering back and forth inside their sockets while the pupils remained fixed on Kah.

"Quite... rude!"
PostPosted: Thu Feb 15, 2007 12:56 am

Such was the way of life Kah figured as she regarded this weirdo with a slightly tilted head. "Yeah, ok." She said finally, not at all making to apollogize for a discourtiesy she hadn't commited. If anything the b*****d's interference with her link to the Cradle was rude! He definately wasn't getting an invitation by Kah's hand. Let Rookin do it!

"You're ugly, go away." Kah stated more than too bluntly as she trained up and down Arrogance's form. Biomatrix scanners were obviously useless on this thing, the M-4 didn't help much. Infrared, sonic, ultra-violet, gamma, and neural radial scans proceeded to swipe, cover, poke, and blanket Arrogance's form as a means to figure out what it was and why it was bothering her. No longer did Kah feel the presence to be a cheerful, cutsie, school girl. She was suddenly aggitated, and looking at Arrogance made her all the more so.

Arrogance snarls, revealing a large number of very sharp teeth grow for the occasion.

"THAT! Is even more rude! Do you mind!"

Any semblance of courtesy was dropped along with the flowery language. While Kah's sensor would only return more false readings, it was clear that the tall man knew exactly what was going on and to what extent his privacy was being invaded.

"My DEAR GIRL! Here I am ATTEMPTING to communicate with a NON-LIFE being such as yourself with all possible niceties observed and STILL you insist on making an affront to my good nature! Stop it THIS instant!"

His glare sharpens, again literally as his eyes become jagged hunks of cobalt. The effect is akin to being punched in the nose, except with Kah's sensors instead of senses.
PostPosted: Thu Feb 15, 2007 1:13 am

"No, no I don't mind at all." Kah responded as something clicked into activity inside her circuits. Her combat functions were already activated, so the power requirements for this particular transferance were lessened by the war nodes installed through out her body to reduce energy and CPU requirements. "And here I was walking merrily along when a creature as yourself stalks in from the shadows, interrupting my private thoughts." Well, not exactly! She was actively seeking life forms, but that thing didn't know she was looking for them, it might have merely been a warning system of sorts - as per it's origional design. "And then you go so far as to interrupt an outgoing signal, which is the equivilant of cutting out someone's tongue. Would you appreciate it if some stranger ripped out your tongue?!"

Oh Kah could be as nice and charming as any little princess, but push her and she pushed back, only she could push a city bus without really concerning herself. "And what do you get off calling ME a non-life when you were a rock two minutes ago! I'm just as alive as anything else!" Which was true to an extent. Kah was an anomatron, meaning she was comprised mostly of machinery, but despite that her origional form was biologically engineered and technologically enhanced to be just as strong as her mechanical parts. "You call me rude? Sneak up on a girl, make it so she can't even speak to others, and say she's not alive! You need to have your ideas of manners recalibrated, buddy!"

"Excuse me? Who interupted who's thoughts? YOU STEPPED on ME!"

He points with a flourish at a random section of ground that Kah had passed over.

"And don't you lecture me about how communications work! I KNOW how communications work! You had NO REASON to just go off and start talking to something in orbit the without maybe ASKING any question you could have had! UNLESS of course it was to REPORT my location or my existence, neither option which I particularily APPRECIATE given that you seem outfitted like some sort of fancy DEATH BOT meant for POACHING anything roaming these woods!"

Arrogance flexes his long fingers, like he was imagining wrapping them around someone's throat.

Krono smiled as he had seen both swords go clean through his opponent, and his happyness would be further boosted when he saw his foes wings fully exposed in an attempt to stabilize himself. The feeling of his scythe cutting through those wings was one of pure satisfaction, and it was even better when he saw his foe plummet to the ground. He managed to see the gauntlets shot at him easily enough.

He was aware of the shadow firing at him and in order to block this he would twirl his scythe at a rapid speed in order to deflect the bullets, he then began to maneuver his way away from the fire gauntlets which were yearning for his flesh. He tightened his command ont he katanas which he twisted while they were in his foe's shoulders before commanded them back to his side.

When they came back he used them to keep the gauntlets at bay and continued to whirl his scythe to deflect the bullets and watched his foes next move, he would be able to keep the defensive stance he was holding for quite some time, even though the gash in his chest was still there and bleeding, it was showing signs of healing which was a good sign for him.

Finally coming back to his senses, Chronic jumped up high, drawing both his swords. However, simply jumping didn't take him to the height at which his foe was defending his attacks from. At the top of his jump, he created a plateau under him made of red energy, which he immediately jumped off of. The plateau would disappear just as quickly as it had appeared.

Finally at his opponent's height, Chronic performed a series of furious slashes, making sure to dodge around his whirling scythe and the twin katanas. After this, he would quickly throw the silver blade high into the air and draw the black handgun known as Ebony. He would then start spinning around rapidly with the sword and handgun out to either side of him. The handgun was firing just as quickly as before, creating the illusion that he was wielding an automatic, and the sword would pulse with lightning and discharge it at regular intervals. His doppelganger would continue with its cover fire, and the gauntlets would alternate between launching fiery blasts and attempts to slam hard into Krono's body.
