How about using a foundation paint like Iyanden yellow then placing Golden or Sunburst yellow.

i think knights of blood use the blood angel's codex, or the normal marines one, im not sure

I'm pretty sure all successors of the blood angels use the blood angel codex not the normal I'm pretty sure of it.

Yeah there not forced to. Sorry if it meant what i said about them forcing to use only that codex if they are Blood Angel successors x3.

Sorry if it meant what i said about them forcing to use only that codex if they are Blood Angel successors x3. dont worry, i know what you meant; that it makes sense for blood angels related armies (who use the same/similar organisation) to be able to use the same codex. besides, making an army that looks like the blood angels, but restricting them from their unique weapons, like the melta pistols, would cause trouble for those who cant/dont want to convert their models.

note that compared to SW, BA are much more codex astartes complying, you have all the usual units like sternguard and vanguard, so you can skip Deathco and/or Sanguinary Guard for more "standard" chapter than BA

5 max, so no hitching a ride with scouts... though I can imagine some crazy Calgar+retinue in a storm schemes...
Edit: and not even that since "scouts only" in the transport entry for LS storm...
