DAMN, I coulda used an energy drink today.

I took the PSAT. Ugh.

It wasn't horrible, but I resent being made to go to school on a Saturday to take a test for three hours. >_<;; At least the Writing Skills part was fun. biggrin I want to be an editor someday so that was right up my alley.

AH! I took mine on Saturday as well. 3nodding I believe I did well on it. I found most parts relatively easy, but some questions on the math and critical thinking section stumped me. sweatdrop The writing wasn't too hard. I am hoping for a field in psychology or writing. I think I am going into psychology, though. Writing can be secondary to me. 3nodding

Politcaly inaccurate SMASHDOWN!!!!

Here's my comment on being politically inaccurate.

1) "I now have evidence that there was a weapon of mass distruction in Iraq, It was there on Thanksgiving Day of 2003, It's name is Bush." ~I'm a diehard republican, and I think Bush is better than Kerry and Gore, but you still get the picture~

2) Native Americans aren't American, they're Asian. ~My cuz is half Sioux but I dun care~

3) ninja + domokun = Singbashing fiesta! ~this has nothing to do with political inaccuracy, but it's fun!~

I wonder... did you have a question about a square inside a circle or something funny like that on one of the math sections? I couldn't figure that one out. Granted, it's been two years since I took Geometry, but still... o_O

But yes, everything else was pretty easy. I skipped a few questions in the critical reading section and maybe one or two in the math section (something about a^3 = x^2...) but I think I did fine. <3 Hopefully my actual SAT scores will be enough to convince colleges to give me FINANCIAL AID. xD

YOU HAD IT TOO?? OH MY GOD, WHAT WAS THAT?? WAS IT EVEN SOLVEABLE? * gonk *

A square inside a circle? That sort of reminds me of the geometry I had in elementary school. Page up and page down with 'draw a circle that's 1/4 covered by a square' and the like. And circles in all imaginable sizes. Possibly the reason why I don't like geometry very much talk2hand

If a^3=x^2 then I would go with a=2and x=4 cuz 2x2x2=16 and 4x4=16 or a=4 and x=8 cuz 4x4x4=64 and 8x8=64

[EDIT] Sorry, I posted that at like midnight, and damn was I loopy.
Who ruined my post???? crying

I would agree with Nic if that was the question.

That was the beginning equation. It was along the lines of... if a^3 = x^2, then blah blah blah a^linear equation = x^9. xP I wish that had been one of the first questions I'd had. As it was, it was the last question I solved and the time was prssing down on me. @_@ This test isn't nice to people who like to think things out.

2^3 = 8, not 16. ^^;; But the 4 'n' 8 one works.

At least afterwards I got to go to Deggy's house and play Star Ocean 3 for six hours straight.

XD I did amazing on the maths, and the writing part. It was the second section of the Critical Reading where I said "Feck." Because some of those words I had NEVER heard before.

All in all, I think I did very well for my third time taking them. biggrin

But I do not remember the circle and the square one. XD; Even though it's been smashed into my head to find the radius, then find the sides of the triangle, and double the leg touching the side or something and that's the side of the square. Then solve for perimeter and/or area.

>> Though I do believe I REALLY wanted to circle X and write, "There it is." when it said 'find x'.

Attention all Math scholars, and all those who think they are (see above quote), there will be a Michigan Math League Contest in room 213 today after school. The test will take about 30 minutes and you should bring a number 2 pencil and a graphic calculator...

*yawns* I can't believe you guys are younger than me enough that you're just getting to the PSAT. (which sucks, by the way) College math is so much better . . . you know, Calculus?! twisted Yeah, Calc is ruining my life, almost every morning at 7:30. gonk But enough about that.

*runs off to Secret Lab (which has recently been blown up, for those of you who MIGHT care . . .) and finds a collection of Spark Plasma bombs . . . drops them ALL on Sing*

. . . YEAH!!! FIREWORKS!!!! xd
