Glad everyone is having a nice V-day. Can't say much bout mine since my classmates are dropping like flies thanks to a virus going around, the weather sucks and my entire apartment (including myself) are playing pokemon instead of homework.
Pokemon is good but the rest isn't so fun. Don't let me get you down cause I love you guys!
Hopefully I'll be back on to post but now I have work to do. So I'll be on real late. But I will post. Hopefully...

@vday: I was fine with it until I started eating my lunch an realized there was a perimeter around me separating the infected single person from all the cute couples. 8/
-w- the guy I'm crushing on in my Design class sat next to me today though.. and he talked to me~ [and by 'talk' I mean he asked me if he could use some of my tape]... /pathetic. 8/ probably straight though.. for a gay guy I don't seem to posses any gaydar whatsoever..
I also did 3 sketches of couples kissing instead of taking notes because I was falling asleep.. they're adorable and I love them<3 (I'll post em later)
@Styk: o; I was at school all day, so I didn't get to hang with anyone..

@V-day- I worked all day... got to see all the married people get flowers delivered to them and wanted a ciggy all day... but I did get to draw some, so that was nice.
@OHBTW- I quit smoking on Sunday... I'm on day 3 right now... I quit once before so I know I can do it... I just have to make sure I never pick it up again... the first week is the hardest so if I seem to not participate in the main too much it's because my brain isn't working very well right now. I AM reading it, and right now I figure KD is going to be quiet for a while and go along with the ride.
@Koji- Aww, I wish I was with you, I have a pretty good gaydar smile

@Vday: My Vday was alright...It didn't even really feel like Vday though lol.
Not only was I single, but classes started up yesterday, so I spent a lot of the day stressed out about getting a class I need (I didn't get the class, but there's still hope!)
I went out to dinner with my parents, which was nice. .W. I have two full boxes of leftovers I'm totally excited about, too. (xP you're so jealous Koji)

@KD: I'm glad that you're trying to stop smoking :]
It's such a hard addiction to kick, and I have such a respect for you guys for overcoming it. I've watched my mom struggle with smoking my entire life, and where she's at now isn't pretty.. I wish you the best of luck, we know you can do it! biggrin
@More Random: Earlier today I was standing in a very long line to buy a parking permit, when I ended up in a conversation with an older woman about general life-things. She lived in Northern California her entire life, and just recently moved to Southern Calif. She said that the difference between the two areas is so drastic that her and her kids are going through a total culture shock. Generally, people up north are very accepting, happy go-lucky people, all very kind and forgiving. Whereas here, it's much more of a dog-eat-dog living. If you want something, you need to fight for it. Most people here are stressed, unhappy and overly aggressive/out for themselves.
So now I've been wondering- are places like So. Cal a minority? Is it possible that the US isn't deteriorating nearly as fast as I thought?

@ Foxi: Lived in Southern California for my whole life, and I can sum it up to a few things. This area has so many people and so little space, so there's a ton of traffic, ghettos, and road-rage-driven people. Although S. California also has accepting communities of all kinds, they're either all concentrated near the coast, or out in the inland.
TLDR: SoCal (as much as I hate that phrase) is just like any other big-city, high population density area: bipolar.

I live in Phoenix. I think people here are generally good, until they get behind the wheel of a car. People have told me that Phoenix drivers are worse (ie. rude, don't pay attention etc). It's basically like any big city. We have a mix of people who are really nice to everyone, and people who only care about themselves.

I live near Erie, in a small town. Everything is so lax that half the time you getting talking with someone you barely know and forget what you supposedly be doing. Its a certainly a friendly atmosphere.

V-day: I went through that a little bit in High School. A girl, or a guy, that I liked would come over to me only to ask me for my notes or to cheat off of my homework because they didn't do theirs or something.
One thing I've always kinda hated though was telling my crush I like them only to have them, like, date some moronic football player a week later DESPITE my feelings for them. . . That b***h/b*****d [Angerily mumbles to self].

@ Styk: Just pay not attention to the rednecks. They aren't too quick and can be quite rude (dated one. Inevitable when it makes up the majority of your class in HS). Just beware, they can get a little too riled up. Can be good people but they also can be very idiotic.
@ Koji: Awww. Don't worry you'll develop a gaydar sooner or later. And put those drawings where I can stalk properly.

@ Pen: Hehe I know! When I was smaller I lived in Missouri, so I know how Rednecks can be. lol I used to love hearing them talk! XD
About the Gaydar: Mine's so/so. It depends where I am sometimes. In Maplewood, MN, though, you can totally tell who's Gay and who isn't. (You'd be surprised how many of the Wiggers there really ARE Gay! It's pretty funny.)

V day nightmare. Was. Worst. Than. I. Thought.
I got lost in the middle of nowhere Long Island. I had to walk from one part to another because my fare ran out. To make it worst, then I finally made it back to Brooklyn, there were three more order to be delivered.
So yeah...I slept longer than I thought. Almost a full 12 hours and then I was woken up to eat, wash, and then went right back to sleep. I got up today at 5, totally woke up at 7, had something eat an hour ago and now I'm back with the living! WHOA! I'm happy to be back! Though I will not be leaving my house for a good two weeks...cause my legs feel like crude.
