Yep yep.
When we first met, I was with someone else, and Mike and I were friends, and then it became more than that, after the other relationship hit the fan. He did live here (Michigan) and I in Texas, but he came down and took me to my prom, and then it just all feel into place.

That happened to a friend of mine, except she lives here and he lives in Canada. They met on a Christian site and they fall asleep with their webcams on; that way they're the first person they see when they wake up.
How long have y'all been together? :]

x3 We would fall asleep on the phone. Well I would fall asleep, he would listen then hang up.. xD
We met in '05, he took me to my prom in April '06, I went an stayed a month with him, August-Sept. '06, then he moved down to Texas when that trip was over.

But are his parents nice? Does his mom like you?
I have this fear that I'm going to end up with a Mama's boy and his mom won't like me and since his mommy is the center of his life, I won't be able to dominate him stare

Sadly, I won't ever be able to meet his mom. She passed away when he was younger. But his dad is amazing, everyone else I've met is nice. I just had a sour time at the wedding because I know that's not what I'll ever have because, I don't have the money for it.

That'd be adorable. Especially if none of his younger family can take up the position of best man..Dominate 'im early! lol.. Really though, that is one of those better internets relationships I've heard. It's pretty cool he moved just for you.

Koemiko I actually call my computer "Betsy." Like an old jalopy you have to start with a hand crank. minehas a few names like "grandma on the highway" "slow piee of ****" and not to mention another few.

I've named my car (Girl), the bugs that live in my car (usually named Larry), even a mold stain (Bill)..I don't name laptops.

I hate long distance relationships. I had one when I was heavier on the convention scene and we would meet up as we worked conventions. Did not work very well even when we expanded it to meeting during school breaks where one of us would stay over with the other.
I don't name cars... unless you count "Small. Efficient. Asian." a name.

Eh, SEA works. I need one of those, but we got a mega-ton of snow dumped on us over winter, and I was thankful for my 4 wd. There were 2 wd cars heading home and the tracks left behind made me think there was a fair amount of cussing involved.

Ah, I am still very much amused by how snow can mess up things so much. We still have one meter of snow on the ground, and it very rarely causes trouble :]
But yeah, cussing is definitely involved (not in my case but still)
