Aubry tensed up and almost lost control, but she shook it off and kept walking. when she got outside, she started to do a nice jog towards the town. she was going to see what was in the market today to get her mind off of Serene. she smiled and talked to some of the people that knew her, and she bought some of the handmade jewelry that they had made. after a while, she jogged back to the castle.

Serene looked darkly at Jason.
"What are you doing here? You know Aubry and Darren have a hard time trusting you...I know you are treating me right....but I don't wish to lose my friendship with aubry either...."
She slunk to the floor, putting her head in her hands, feeling her heart ache.
"What did I do...I feel like I lost a dear friend because of my foolishness..." she could feel herself starting to cry.
"All I wanted....was for everyone to be happy...." she said in the midst of tears.

he walked over to serene to help her with her emotional break down then he looked at jason "you know your not welcome here or this world so go get lost"

Aubry went to her room to put the jewelry away. she could still smell Jason being here, and she couldn't afford to lose control over him, so she sat by the window and looked at the sea. it was where she and Darren first met when she failed to land on the beach... she smiled thoughtfully and ended up frowning at realizing how much she had changed. she had not flown since then either... but she stayed at the window staring at the world.

Serene looked up at Jason, ands smiled softly. "I'll be fine, really, just go back to the ship...and tell Sidorio not to worry....I'd like to spend some time with my brother and Aubry alone...." she said, knowing the tears were just streaking her pale face.
"Darren...I'm sorry...I never wanted for everyone to hate me...I just wanted everyone to live..."

Serene watched Jason and her love walk away, and then she looked up at her brother tearfully.
"I promise you they are treating me right...Sidorio wouldn't let anything happen to me..."
she looked down and wiped a couple tears from her eyes.
"I'm sorry....if there woul've been another way...I would've chosen it...I had no choice...."

"Serene, we get it, move on to a different subject, like, what the hell is going on with you and whats-his-face?" Aubry asked, leaning on the door frame. she smiled a fangy grin playfully. since Jason had left, her mood had brightened considerably.

Serene blushed and smiled. "Sidorio...he...well..." she looked down at the ground and shuffled her feet, hiding her blush.
"He and I are...well...together...we confessed our love to each other not that long ago...he's the one who kind of got me to trust Jason a little bit..."
she looked up at them and smiled.
"I kind of have a tiny bit of authority over Jason, even though he is captain...since his right hand man and I are in love...well...I do get to call some shots...like leaving hollo basten or any of the other major royal cities alone...being a vampirate does have its advantages....in a way...and yes, I technicall DID kill Jason...but he was turned into a vampire somehow...so hes back...but he agreed to not hurt me, one because Sidorio is there, and since I gave up my human life to protect..."
Serene said with a small smile.
"And the good thing is that I am allowed to visit twice a year..."
