Taqune chuckled as he took Pippa's hand and began to walk down the hall,"its alright smile its beautiful outside."Taqune led her down the hall and down a flight of stairs,"here we are."He smiled as they were now at the entrance to the courtyard.

Tatsu entered the dorm building's lobby, looking around at everything. He moves to a chair in placed over by the wall of the lobby and sits down in to, putting his arms behind his head and shutting his eyes. I guess I could just wait for Pippa here, then buy a room...

Tatsu stood up out of the chair, realizing he''d fallen asleep in the lobby. He yawned and scratched his head, his back aching from sleeping in a place that was actually comfortable. Damn cushions... Tatsu looked around and noticed Pippa was still no there. Did she get attacked and raped or something? Where is she? Tatsu ran to the exit, heading for the courtyard.

Tatsu followed Pippa up to her room and looked at the double bed. He smiled at the thought of sleeping in the same bed as Pippa. He walked over to the bed, staring at it for a moment as something in his mind clicked. Images started flashing through his mind, but not the intense visions of his painful past. These were more soothing and depressing than wildly violent. He fell to his knees as images of his old home as a young child flooded his veiw, each one more painful to watch than the last.

First to cross his mind was the many persecutions he'd gone through. People had always hated him, as they all blamed him for the death of his mother, a woman with many friends. they also feared him for his power, and stayed away as much as possible. This led to the second vision.

Amongst the many people who hated him, there was one who pitied him, a girl a little younger than he. She'd always tried to cheer him up, but he wouldn't except help from anyone. Tatsu was, and still quite is, a complex person. He hated all of the world for hating him, yet he would never express his hate. His anger, yes, but never hate. It was as if Tatsu did not understand the concept of hating fully.

One day, Tatsu was alone in the woods by his home when he heard screaming. He grabbed a stick and ran in the direction of the screams to see his father with some other men and the girl who'd pitied him. The men were slave traders, and they were dealing with his father. Enraged, Tatsu attacked his father, only to be knocked aside and beaten with a leather strap. Tatsu could care less for himself, though- the girl was the only thing on his mind. He remembered calling out to her, as he had his voice at this time, "Don't worry! I'll save you, just as soon as I finish my dad!"

Tatsu's mind blanked as he slumped over , catching himself fromhitting the floor with his hands. Tears were in his eyes as the memory burned his mind. How and why'd he forget something to significant he did not know. Tatsu looked over at Pippa and asked, Are you ok?

"Well um i guess i'll be leaving since no one seems to be around." Jogan than looks around before leaving to see what building he entered " eek no wonder this place is so quite. it's a dorm and a co-ed dorm too!!" Jogan than thought a bit and than said "I REALLY need to get out here.(bad thoughs whee )"jogan than quickly runs out and takes a few deep breaths "why would they have a co-ed dorm? well in any event i still need to find that main office. (light bulb idea) I GOT IT! i just have to fly and than i can find it easy. OK!" *Jogan than takes off his shirt so it wont rip. than jogan back starts to stretch out. than his wings come ripping out of jogans back. "much better mrgreen ." Jogan than flies off to scout the area.

Pippa slightly smirked as he had fallen asleep in no time flat. Slightly blinking she moved onto the bed and curled up against him liking the feeling of someone being there. She hoped he wouldn't mide that she had laid close to him like that. Sorting through things she couldn't help but keep thinking about the last flash back that he had. It taunted her and made her softly whimper and cover her twitching ears not wanting them to ever be touched again.

Tatsu was standing in the forest behind his old home, standing at attention infront of his grandfather, like he was some kind of soldier or weapon. This was a time before Tatsu's tragic incident that left him mute, and thus his voice was not absent from the conversation that took place, although his voice rarely came out anyways. "You are the heir to our family's power, Tatsu," his grandfather told him, "And as such you are required to be strong not only at heart and body, but be able to make hasty decisions that will have the best outcome."

"Yes, sir."

"Today, we will not train your sword, nor attempt to focus your powers. Instead, you will study under your father to increase your decision making skills."

"My father?..."

"Yes, your father. He will be here shortly, and I have other things to attend to whilst I am not training you. Stay here, or you will be punished again."

"Yes, sir."

Tatsu stood at attention for an hour before his father showed up. In his father's hand was a knife, and in his eyes was hatred. "Tatsu, this was your first lesson in your training under me: Never waste time. An hour has passed by yet you have done absolutely NOTHING. No chores, no training, you have merely stood there. And what's worst of all is you didn't run away. This was the perfect chance for you to leave and be out of my life, and for not taking it you will be punished."

Tatsu's father lunged at him, plunged the knife deep into Tatsu's chest. He kicked Tatsu to the ground afterwards and walked away, feeling absolutely sure Tatsu would die. And he had a right reason to: He'd pieced the heart.

Tatsu awoke in his bed, his chest wrapped in bandages. He'd been out for some time, but didn't bother trying to figure out how long. He merely shut his eyes and attempted to go back to sleep. That was when he felt it. A sharp pain sliding across his throat, followed by the absence of warmth. He opened his eyes and saw his father standing above him, a bloody knife in hand. His father had slit his throat. His own father.

Tatsu fell from the bed onto the floor, gasping for air. He could hear the voice of his grandfather as he entered the room, shouting at Tatsu's father. Tatsu looked back and felt the pain in his back as the katana plunged through him...

Tatsu sat up, covered in sweat, as he rans his hands across his chest and neck. The scars were all still there and burned as well, the memory of their birth inflicting the pain upon Tatsu yet again. He began to hyperventilate as his eyes became glazed in light blue light for a moment. After about 5 seconds, the light vanished, and Tatsu's breathing returned to normal.
