*Casper and Dreamcloud splashed around in the water, throwing some spray above their heads, the golden mare freed herself from the mud and stumbled out of the water, galloping towards the herd, she beat her wings hard giving her an extra push of speed. Casper bounded after her, covered in cold, wet mud up to his stomach and chest.*

*Casper lunged with great, newfound power to the golden mare, she gave off a desire to be possesed and Casper could no longer ignore that wonderful mare's scent and precense any longer. He caught the tip of her wing, pulling a few feathers out and she flinched with the small snag and then soared into beautiful free flight, knowing the only ones who could catch her up there were the ones she trusted. Although Sepsis most likely would not fly as heavily pregnant as she was.*

*Dreamcloud found a seldom seen thick cloud that was mythical enough to hold her weight. She landed upon it and was engulfed in a sea of billowy white, her knees down no longer visible from eye level. She peered down from the edge of the slow moving cloud and saw the herd below, mere blots of color moving on a green space. Everything looked so different from such a high altitude. She could see the mountaintops, the jungle canopy, the somewhat cloudy with mud lakes, and far off in the distance stood a white stallion, whiter than the clouds she stood on, whiter than the tips of her wings, and whiter than snow.*

*She remembered the cold sparkling death well, snow was awful she had only seen it once but it froze her deep inside and if it had not been for one very black stallion she would have never survived. She knew the horse well, he had been born on the same day as herself, eerily at the same hour though by an entirely different mare, he held three great dull grey horns upon his head and thick, luxurious feathers about his great grey hooves. His tail was thick, heavy and so long it dragged the ground on the seldom occasions it was not upright and held proudly, his spirit high and mighty. His mane was equally as thick and heavy, though silken. It rippled slightly from the root and straightened out like a ghost's trailing end at the uneven tips, having never been trimmed or cut. It reached below his neck, and his forelock below his muzzle, his beard gave him the impression of being very wise and respectful, noble and gentlemanly-like. His great brutal muscles rippled like white ocean waves near shore throughought his shoulders, chest, neck and flanks. He was a powerful horse and out of every stallion Dreamcloud had ever known or seen she admired him the most.*

Diamond nuzzled the macaw before it flew away but as soon as Casper bullied and pushed her a little bit Diamond flinched and bucked and when Casper bit her and pinnied her ears back. She bared her teeth and lashed out at Casper. She shook her mane before turning around and speeding back to safty over to Ghost and Kipcha, hoping that they would do something about Casper. She legnthed her stride galloping much more faster then Casper. She tossed her head and whinnied to Kipcha and Ghost, before speeding up. Diamond was bleeding a little bit from the side of her stomach from Casper's bite.

Diamond kept running for minutes untill she felt Casper had stopped and looked back to see Kipcha. She snorted and halted before weeling around and galloping slowly back to the herd. The herd had stopped. Once Diamond was close she slowed to a trot and stood not close but not far away from Ghost, Evander, Sepsis and Kipcha. She turned her head to nuzzle her stomach making sure the foal was alright. Once the foal moved Diamond let a sigh of relief. The mare was stressed out, wich was not good for a pregnant mare, but with Casper around it made her nervous after what he had done to Dreamcloud and herself. Diamond spotted her wound and licked it with her pink tounge, washing the blood away. Diamond snorted and tossed her head and closed her eyes, for minutes before her diamond glowed. It shone brigtly and her wound slowly disapeard like it was ner their. Once the wound was healed, Diamond snorted and shook her mane. The light slowly went away and back into Diamond's gem.

Kipcha snorted she stood by Sepsis watching Casper and waiting for him to move. She hoped the young stallion would learn his lesson and leave the mares alone. "Casper you know better. What would your mother think if she saw you act like that?" She kept one ear back and the other forward, ready to bit him again or turn and leave.

Kipcha sighed and shook her head. She was frightened at Casper's killing and yet now there was nothing she could do about it. She nudged Sepsis, "We should go back to the others. Leave him to his thoughs for now." She turned and walked back to Ghost.

*Casper tested the patience of the stallions. Why hadn't they gone after me yet? He thought...He trotted slowly towards the herd, looking for Dreamcloud. His head relaxed, level with his body and he held his tail at the same level. He neared the others and grazed on the outskirts of the herd, not paying any attention to anything else.*
